I just replaced the hail damaged roof of my rental property. Based on Yelp Reviews, I called couple of roofing companies with BBB members to get an estimate for my hailed damaged roof. One company gave an estimate without covering the porch and shed and did not want to deal with insurance companies. Another one did not show up on time and then project manager had an attitude problem. Finally came across Roofcrafter. As mentioned by the roofcrafter appointment scheduler, roof crafter project manager Wes called on the same day to schedule an appointment. He was on time for all appointments...for taking measurements, giving estimates, later on for inspecting. Team at Roofcrafter too were very co-operative and prompt in responding. They made sure to get the GAF warranty as promised. Wes Specifically reviewed approved Insurance documents and defended my case for better coverage. Roofcrafter team worked very well getting the invoices to the Insurance company on time. This helped me to get the insurance money within one month for my on time payment. Wes specifically followed with the insurance and always responded back to any question or queries I had. Was Very happy with the way my project was handled. Was Pleased with Wes's role in managing my project and highly satisfied with the roofcrafter team in getting this project complete. Work was done in 2 days and recent heavy rain showed NO leak, confirming that the work done was well done.

Part of metal roof was damaged. Danny came out and was very energetic and confident that he could get my entire metal roof replaced. He had worked with many insurance companies. His company would also handle the wood repair near the damaged metal roof. He was very receptive until a few days later when the City of Austin experienced a severe hail storm. Danny's interest disappeared and I never got a bid. When I finally got ahold of him he said he had responded to the hail area, had been very busy and talked to some of the senior adjusters and roofers also working the hail damaged area and they all told him there was no way I could get the entire roof replaced. So he left it at that. Basically, he was not going to put a bid together to send to the insurance company. So I reached out to a competitor and they discovered that my older style of metal roof no longer existed (true statement). The insurance company approved replacing my entire metal roof. I am now going from a 20 year old galvalume rainguard roof to a striated snap lock standing seam roofing system. Danny couldn't see the forest for the trees.

I highly recommend Roofcrafters to do your house repairs. They replaced my siding with hardiplank. They were very efficient and professional. Chris Cogburn was the GC. He advised with great care and attention to what we needed and made recommendations that made our house look brand new and its 25 years old. When we start on our interior we will definitely contact Roofcrafters again. In addition to our siding, they replaced our front, back and garage doors. Added electrical outlets outside and had cedar park garage doors install the garage doors and install new openers. The painted all the exterior and installed new 6"" gutters with rainbarrels to catch rain water. They did an excellent job and our home and we're glad we found them.

Michael is very knowledgeable and pointed out common mistakes other, less experienced roofers made. I learned that the cheapest roofer is not the guy to go with. These guys do a great job for a fair price.

Just had a GAF Designer Roof installed Roof optically looks like a clay tile roof, very cool. Not an inexpensive project, but this looks awesome. Roofcrafters did a great job. Had insurance adjuster for hail damage. Mike met him and walked the roof with him. Big project, had to wait about a month for schedule and product, worth the wait. They picked up debris and the lunch and water bottles around the house. They submitted everything to insurance company. Neighbor using them now. Great job. Highly recommend.

Called for estimate on roof, scheduled for 05/03/14 @ 3:00 then called saying they be @ 6:30 then called again saying they be late for the 6:30 appt. So we reschedule for Mon @ 3:00 pm, called @2:50 to say that he was running late and that it be close to 5:00 told him to never mind, he can't keep his Appt's.

I had my house reroofed this month (Jan 2014) and couldn't be more pleased with the professionalism and quality work provided by the employees of RoofCrafters. Danny worked with me and my insurance company and made things as easy as possible all along the way. He was very responsive to all my questions and concerns. A couple guys arrived on a Monday to drop off all roofing supplies and the crew showed up early on Tuesday and Wednesday to complete the whole job which was extensive. I'd recommend their work to anyone wanting quality work all the way through.

I have to say that I'm a very patient person, however, my patience has been pushed to it's limits dealing with this company.

I had a modest job. Replace my back sliding glass door with a pair of french doors and replace an upstairs door with a matching door. Because of the size of the door, it was a custom order, so I was given the estimate of taking 6-8 weeks, so far, it's taken about 38 weeks and I'm still waiting for the final resolution.

After about 10 weeks, I called to try to find out what was taking so long... turns out it was a scheduling thing with the sub-contracted door installer. When the installer finally got there, he said that the door was ordered with the wrong swing.... so I had to wait for another order of the door. This time it was about 12 weeks before they came out again. This time, they installed the doors, but they were about 10 inches smaller than they needed to be... Imagine, almost a foot off on your measurements... YIKES! By this time, I find out that my company is moving me and I really need this project completed. Many many calls were made trying to contact they guy who i've been dealing with and I could never get ahold of him... finally, he returns one of my many calls and we get the doors installed. Sheetrock and painting remains. They come out and do the finish up, but at the end of the project, the last contact I had on the project didn't speak any english.

When I inspected the work, there was plaster splashed on the wall, parts of the wall was only painted in one coat, so you could even see paint strokes. Parts of their work didn't have texture on it, and now portions of the paint is pealing.... only after 2 weeks. Very very poor quality.

So here we are at 8 months later and I'm given an invoice for the full amount... no discount for a job, by their own admission was botched and full of mistakes on their end. I asked for a modest %15 discount.... and of course they are not accommodating that, even though they take full responsibility for everything that went wrong.... just doesn't make any sense to me.

I had a leak in one of my bathroom skylights. I called our insurance provider and they recommended Roof Crafters. I called and was put in touch with Danny who was able to come out for same day service for an estimate. Not only did he fix the issue on the spot, but he was incredibly courteous, prompt, and flexible with when to meet. He got right to business, and diagnosed the issue immediately.

We no longer have a leak and it's all thanks to Danny! Not only that, but because of the ease of the fix, he even waived the service call fee! I can't thank him enough. We will be calling them again next time we have roofing or general contracting needs!

Having to wait 5 weeks wasn't so great but I get that there was a lot of business. Having to tell them to get off the grass that we were trying to grow even though there was stakes and strings was a bit annoying as was telling them to clean up their lunch trash out of my yard. Then having to call them back to fix the several things that were left undone/unfinished which, thankfully, they took care of right away which was good. However!!! We were told that they would send us a bill after they contacted our insurance. Got the bill...no insurance adjustment. Another one...no insurance adjustment. Didn't think much about it being summer and travelling so much. Third bill comes with a threat of collections for NON-payment!! Ummmmm.........where were the TWO guys that were supposed to do their job!!!! So WE had to call the insurance!! Got the money and sent them a partial. Two weeks later get a letter with threat of lein against our home!! REALLY!! Y'all don't do your jobs and then treat us like the bad guys!! Come on.....get it together!!
