On 07/20/2021 they put a new roof on my house, on 11/05/2021 it started leaking around the vent and leaked in the kitchen, I called them on 11/08 2021 they came out i showed them a video and pictures of it leaking they want to put caulking on it to stop it, i told them NO i want it fixed right not with caulking. I told them they need to fix it right put bull around the vent and put the shingles back down, they said ok but they have to order the shingles and it will take a couple months i said ok i just want it done right three months later on 02/08/2022 i called and they told me that they closed my repair they fixed it with putting caulking on top of it , i said no they told me they were coming back to fix it right, she said they will have someone call me its 02/10.2022 and still no call. STAY AWAY FROM ROOFCLAIM.COM, Reco and Jake will never call you back once they get their commission.
Please whatever you do STAY AWAY FROM ROOFCLAIM.COM!! They will try to max out your insurance and confuse you in every way possible. I am so glad that I started asking questions and did not let them perform my job. I also advised my insurance to NOT talk with them as they were dying to get a copy of the loss sheet so they can see what insurance will pay. They have told me several different things...the salesman told me that if he didn't respond to me within 24 hours, the contract was null & void. I have a text PROVING it took him 6 days to respond. When I told him that, he said it was 48 hours (he didn't know it was 6 days), then once he found that out, he said it was 7 business days. I never received a copy of my contract ither. I wanted an estimate of my roof before I told him anything about insurance but he would not give me that. He said ""my roof is my deductible & that is it"". After multiple conversations, he said that he would charge me $500 a sqaure for the roof cash price ($19,000) which was significantly less than before so I told him let's go with that. Then he said that isn't including everything...blah, blah, blah. They are threatening to make me pay $2,500 for cancelling even though they voided the contract. I am getting further estimates that are significantly less than Roof Claim.com and hearing other stories that are cooresponding with mine. As well as multiple complaints on Google, Facebook, and the BBB. I am prepared for whatever battle that comes my way, but I will not be screwed over by this company and I hope no one else does either. - Laci Hudson
Unfortunately this company wasted 3 weeks for me. They reviewed damage and were available at claim but never once did they indicate that they would back out if insurance didn't approve a full roof replacement. I knew and have never put roof on home that wasn't going to be the case. Then they tried to just skate away with email. Thanks for nothing please don't use this company unless you need full roof replacement
Do not use this company. Also does business as Jasper. They do not warranty their work for more than 2 years and if you sell your house the new owners are screwed. Instead of guaranteeing the actual work, they guarantee the people who paid for it, but only for 2 years and if they stay in the house. That sounds like the cheapest work possible is done, and they do the least amount that they could possibly get away with. Do not use this company ever not even the customer service people are nice, I was scoffed at when I asked why they didn't warranty their work but the owners of the home, that just doesn't make sense. So now I have a home that was advertised as having a new roof..... leaking in several places. Great job!!!
I was referred to roofclaim.com by my son who was in the process of getting his roof done. Drew, their representative, came to my house, explained what the process was (for the most part, he seemed a little inexperienced), time & cost. He looked at my homeowners insurance and told me my deductible was $1000. About a month later my homeowners insurance company representative called me and said that my deductible was over $5000, when I asked Drew why there was such a difference he said he read it incorrectly and that I would have to sign a new contract with the correct deducible amount. I was a upset about this, 1 because I am on a fixed income and 2 that is a lot of money, but I felt I had no choice considering I already signed a contract. When the checks from the insurance company came they were in my name as well as roofclaim.com (there were 2 checks for the roof and other repairs, that they did not do), I signed both checks over to them and was told that they would NOT hold the extra money that was for other repairs in my house. However, they did for over 3 months. I called both Drew and Roofclaim.com offices, without receiving any calls back and text Drew with very few text back ( the last 3 text, no reply). I found out recently (from my son), Drew was fired.
My daughter-in-law drove to the office in hopes to speak to someone (manager), about
all of our problems and concerns (including a $150 referral fee promised to my son), she was promised that we would both receive a phone call within 48 hours from a manager (Izzy). A week later my son received a phone call from Izzy, the manager. With a, I don't care attitude or what you have to say and that he would NOT receive a referral fee (blaming that on Drew).
I still have NOT received a call from Izzy (or anyone from Roofclaim.com).
I do NOT recommend this company. Once you sign the contract you're just a number. They lack customer service and support
April L.My experience was pretty terrible.
Did I get a new roof? Yes.
Did it also leak in 4 places within 6 months, also yes.
Did they try to pin it on ""new storms"" or my windows? Again yes.
Did my husband step on a roofing nail in the front yard? Yes.....
did my neighbor step on one in his yard....yes
Did it take an act of God (me being a total Karen) to get people out there to fix things? Yes
What are they good at? Getting your insurance to pay for a new roof and hard selling you.
Excellent service from start to finish. They helped with the insurance claim and then arrived on time and finished in one day. Definitely recommend this company.
Julianna D.Horrible service. DO NOT USE these people. They re did the roof at our new house in March 2020. We purchased the house in December 2020 and the roof is already leaking in multiple areas. When I called they said I was not under warranty because I did not transfer the warranty within 30 days and there was nothing they can do. They did not offer to send someone out to take a out. They did not offer to come fix it at a reduced priced, at full price, nothing. Unbelievable. They have some girls answering the phones who say they are the managers. They are arrogant and sarcastic and do not have any solutions. I will post pictures of the leaks so that you can see for yourself what HORRIBLE job they did.
I can't believe how many people have had a good experience with this company. They told me that they would accept what my insurance company was paying, but wouldn't provide their own estimate for the job. My insurance company provided. a very detailed and generous allowance for the roofing of almost $19k and also included amounts for other non-roofing damages to the bathroom and lanai which were clearly itemize. RoofClaim.com expected me to give them everything on the insurance company's estimates including the non-roofing payments. When I refused to pay them for the non-roofing services that they didn't provide, they filed a mechanics lien on my property for almost $2,000 and didn't even notify me about that. They basically demand all insurance payments regardless of whether they are roofing related or not. I've called them to straighten this out but the don't return the calls. And previously all they would say was how much I received from the insurance company and that they expected it all. I wouldn't recommend that you deal with these contractors because they are dishonest and fraudulently charge you for work that they didn't provide. The billing/collection people won't even listen to their own work managers when they they explain what applies. I would make sure that you get everything in writing from them and document everything and don't let them tell you how they document things because later they won't be able to figure what was done their way. The mangers don't explain financials well with their billing department and even when they explain it to billing, the billing department still doesn't understand or doesn't want to understand. Also make sure that your insurance company itemize a separate estimate for just the roofing portion of your damages and not combine it with your non-roofing damages. RoofClaim.com will only go by the amount on the total estimate whether roof related or not. I might also add that they used to go by the name of Jasper contractors, but changed their name. Look up Jaspers reviews and you'll understand the reason for the new name.
They will lie to you. Do not sign the contract that is blank. Get price first before they star. They are liar. constant lie from headquarters to roofer. They send unqualified people to your house please know different language. Once they find out what the insurance company is paying then they fill the contract in. They told me $18,665 then I got bill $20,975. All Veterans please don't use them in Louisiana. Pyke and Elaine are tag team liars. Then they will threaten you like well we have to do what we have to do to get our money. Maybe cause I'm Black he did this to me. Don't trust them. They don't remember nothing you agree upon get everything in writing and record all conversation. They are serious about ripping you off. I pray God will provide me the extra money to pay them off. They set me an account to pay my deductible which I did not have said give the check for $8,805.33 and I pay $620 a month for 16 months but had to put $250 down. Do the math now I owe $11, 300 after my first payment. Wow way over $10,170 deductible - $250 down - $620 first payment. They got me but I put all those lies in God hands. They will have to answer one day how $18,665 turn to $20,975 I don't know. Then lied and said my wife and I made the $18,665 up. Pyke said his daddy thought him how to do business like that. Its a shame to raise a child like that. Stone Bone Liar.
