Roof Rx was great -- I had called 2 other companies that received high ratings from Bay Area Checkbook, but Roof Rx came in with the lowest bid and I believe they were the most professional. Matt was my roofer and he was wonderful: he even offered to come on an earlier day when a slot opened up in his schedule. 5 stars for quality of work; professionalism; and cost.

It's easy to shine when everything goes well. But for me RoofRx shined because they were amazing when things didn't go as planned. I pre-paid for a packaged deal but when they came to do the work they found the pitch of my roof was steeper than they typically work on and the assessment identified more fixes than I paid for. Nonetheless RoofRx did the work and honored the original price. Job well done and a great experience.

Extremely high price more than the average cost to have a full roof put on. Company is a pressure seller that forces you into a contract and demands full payment after they send out unskilled labor and causes further damage to roof.

Send 2 workers to remove a roof, instead of more to remove a walk. Employees pretend they are using quality material and are skilled in putting on a new roof, not reroofing.

Stick you with a contract;unqualified workers;cause more damage.

I contacted roofrx to replace some missing shingles and to inspect the roof and gutters. I was contacted immediately and an appointment was scheduled quickly. I was given a fair estimate of the cost to make the repairs quickly. The estimate was sent electronically and I was able to sign off on the estimate with docusign. I greatly appreciated the fact that everything could be done online.

I was not a rush fix but my one an only complaint is that it took forever to get an appt. I had to pressure them with going to another company before I could get an appt scheduled. Once it was scheduled, the work was done quickly, efficiently, and professionally. There was no pressure to pay for extra work. I was given an assessment of the condition and problems with the roofing that I will need to monitor over time. They did find some additional issues that were fixed for free including cleaning out the gutter which was filled with soot. My roof is not easy to access and is steeply pitched.

I am very satisfied with the work. I would recommend Roofrx.

I was ecstatic when I had the pleasure of meeting Scott earlier today. I knew I had roof issues and had another estimate earlier this week, the cost was NOT what I was expecting (and frankly had a little melt down). With the economic turn down in housing I have neglected my house, but I was shocked with the estimate and contacted Roof RX for another opinion. WOW! I am so happy that I did! Scott came ON TIME, NO DELAY and inspected my roof. I had to ask him to repeat his estimate a couple of times. The last estimate was 2,000.00 with a 400.00 discount because ""he just wanted to save me some money"". Scott's estimate was under 300.00!!!! I was waiting for a third estimate, but as is typical for me, the other company didn't show, didn't call until 2 hours after the latest time given when I made the appointment. I have been burned on home repairs so many times, I use that as an indicator of how I will be respected by a company. I look forward to having Scott come back, he is very respectful and I am very happy with the service so far. Scott should be back next week to make the repairs and is willing to help me cover my pool from any falling debris! Great feeling!

Roof Rx was fast to reply to my request to come look at the leak which resulted in a puddle of water on my living room floor. They found the problem along with a few other issues that were about to become bigger problems. They showed me photos, and this was helpful, since I rarely go up on the roof. They worked with me on the price so I could fix the immediate problem and proactively deal with the other issues too. They scheduled the work within a week, and were in and out in a day. Matt did a few little extra things too.

Okay, so the rainy season is over and it's a good time to fix those leaks, but before you let any shyster contractor talk you into shelling out for a new roof, try calling these guys to repair it instead. Not only do they give free estimates, but they also have same-day service, believe in environmental accountability, and offer loads of roofing information on their website. After calling them to help fix some damage to an aging relative's home, I plan to use them myself and recommend their services highly.

After neglecting our roof for 10 years, I called several roofing companies to get estimates and ideas. Of the four, Roof Rx was the only one to follow through and offer a definite work plan on a definite day for a definite price. They are highly recommended, so I went for it, and I'm very glad I did. Their work was first-rate, thoughtful, thorough, and reasonably priced. They took before and after photos and emailed all of them to me afterwards, so I could see what they had accomplished. Really, I had no idea how far I'd let things go, but now the photos show that all is well and not about to leak anywhere. I had a couple of follow-up questions, and Scott took time off his next job to call me the next day and patiently explain everything to me.

Cannot express how happy I am to have chosen RoofRx to sort out my irritatingly leaky roof once and for all. Have spent the past two years experimenting with every possible quick fix solution for the handful of leaks in my roof but regardless of what I did, the leaks returned even worse than before.
