I got roof coverage through American Home Shield, which it turns out is provided by Roof RX. So when during a heavy rain, water started dripping through out ceiling, I called them. And called them again, and again, and again, for over a week, before I finally talked to a human. It was an unusually rainy week, so the whole time I was concerned about further damage to the home. And when I did finally talk to someone, they couldn't schedule an appointment for several more weeks. We'd intended to replace the entire roof 6 or 8 months later (during the dry season) but as it was, it was quicker for us to have our entire roof replaced immediately than to get Roof RX to come out for a small patch job.
Throughout out entire interaction with Roof RX they were nearly impossible to make contact with, and each time we did talk to someone they'd promise to call back with follow-up information and never did.
Save your money (and your roof/ceiling) and just pay a roofer to come out if and when you get a leak.

I called Roof Rx to repair a leak because I pay for roof coverage thru American Home Shield. I called multiple times and my call was not returned for a week and a half. Never once that I called did an actual Person answer the phone I had to leave messages. I didn't get a phone call back until my American Home Shield agent emailed directly to a contact she had at roof RX. When roof RX came out to inspect my roof they charged me another $75 to see if my leak qualified to be covered under my insurance. !?? I was allowed a $1,000 credit with my insurance. The technician went on my roof where I showed him the leak was and he said there was one cracked roof tile. He also assured me that he was certain that's where the leak was. After inspecting this and taking photographs to show me he said I qualified for my insurance coverage and said he would be giving me my $1,000 credit but he needed to figure out what his bid was so he got on his tablet and started punching in numbers and then turn around and informed me it was going to cost me $1,980 to repair my one broken roof tile. Now I understand that they have policy and that they do more than one roof tile to repair however he told me they were going to have to replace 150 feet of the underlayment of my roof. When I question this and asked him if he could just replace a small area around where the leak was he said well let me see what I can do and then he said yes we can do that it will cost $1,354 meaning that I either was going to have to pay $980 out of pocket or $354 out of pocket. I told him that I would need to get another bid from another contractor to be sure that this was reasonable because it didn't seem reasonable to me. I did proceed and have another bid done buy another roofer one not contracted with my insurance company. That contractors bid came out to be $987. In my opinion my insurance should have covered this repair with no money out of pocket to me. I think that roof RX is a very unreputable company and I would recommend that no one use their services. If you are insured with American Home Shield I recommend that you not pay the extra money for the roof insurance . At this point I haven't had any reason to use American Home Shield's other services but the roof insurance is definitely not worth it! You're going to have to pay for your roof to be fixed anyway cuz they just stick the thousand dollars Credit in front of whatever their bid is.

We added the roof to the renewal of our home warranty. The pre-inspection and repairs have now been completed. We were very impressed by the knowledge and professionalism of our roofer, Omar. Before and after pictures were emailed to us and he gave us information on how best to keep our roof in great shape with annual routine maintenance. As a bonus, he also let us know that our gutters were very clean! One less thing to worry about! Thanks, Omar!

SCAM! The claim to sell a roof warranty, it was purchased by our realtor. We called in the claim we need a Valley sealed 3 other roofing companies quoted the exact work from their quote at $500-$600. They have it listed as $1795.20, they will only cover work up to $1000. The going rate for the work they would be performing is $.50 to $3.00 a square foot, they are charging $119.00 a square foot to apply a polymer sealer on 150 square feet. So the scam is that they just tack on $1000 to what ever the cost is so you pay them out of pocket. I called them out on their scam so they want to refund the $150 my realtor paid for the service. The thing is that they false represented their service and product so my realtor, American Home Shield and Century21 would buy their product. Due to their misrepresentation, we had their warranty instead of a better policy and now we have been in our house over 30 days and can't get any other warranty. And I have a leak in my roof! So anyone else have an issue? Let me know, planning on going to the Attorney General of California, filing a complaint with the FTC and the California board of realtors. I want to make sure NO ONE ELSE HAS TO BE SCAMMED BY THEM!

I have an existing home warranty thru American Home Shield and was offered an opportunity to add our roof to the warranty. Roof RX had to come and inspect the roof before the warranty would be valid. The inspection was done by Staccato. He took pictures and explained a few areas that needed work to insure no leaks or issues in our roof. Omar, was the technician that came out to do the work. He did the repairs and also took pictures to show the work he completed. I was impressed with both of the men as they explained everything in detail and also, by taking pictures, I could see what they were talking about.
I felt they were both knowledgeable and honest.

California State Licensing Board found them to be in violation of 8 different building codes on our project alone, while two other complaints had already been investigated, and another one came in while they were investigating our complaint. Needless to say, I don't recommend this company.

Chris provided me with excellent customer service. We weren't sure exactly how we wanted to have our service provided. After chatting with Chris about all our options we came uo with an avenue that would maximize my clients potential and provide a little assurance about the roof of the house she's about to buy. Chris did a thorough investigation and even called to discuss the findings. Im confident that my client will feel safer now that she knows all she should about her roof. I'll definitely use Chris' service again

Where to begin? We have been trying to get this company to do the work we paid them to do more than a year ago. They ""fixed"" the problem several years ago, had to come out again before the warranty was up, and now will not respond to calls or emails. We are now getting a ""real"" roofing company to reroof our addition. The initial was haphazard, and the attempted repair, to fix what the first man did, seemed to work for a while. Then, drip, drip, drip. This after we had to pay thousands of dollars to replace the ceiling of the room below the initial problem. Would take no responsibility for the new ceiling damage, and the workman even took the tarp that we had to have another company come and put on the roof so that everything did not collapse! So, this year, we tried to contact them again, no response. Another new tarp, and real roofers are coming. Stay away from this company!

Do not use this company. They came out four times for the same leak. Each time they said it was under warranty but then they wanted more money, which I stupidly paid. It's still leaking. I will not use them again.

UPDATE: This company is garbage. I am dealing with a $5000 total repair job because of this company. 2 years after their ""repair""...i had a bad leak around my chimney. I finally found a competent roofer who told me the flashing they installed around the chimney was only 2 INCHES HIGH underneath the siding.....he said he doesnt go less than 14 inches. So after we finally had a rainy winter, i was screwed. Any debri buildup whatsoever around the chimney would leak right over their faulty repair job. In addition they did nothing to channel the water around the chimney to prevent build up. They did a $800 faulty job that just cost me 5k in repairs due to water damage.
