Mr. Joe Gonzalez and Matt Beeler from Roof Rx were at my house today to repair damaged/broken tiles. They were very professional, thorough and courteous from the beginning until the end. I observed that they performed the tile repairs with the utmost care and professional know-how. I really appreciate their help to repair the broken tiles!

I don't know where to even begin, but let me assure you, this company is a total scam! Do not ever get the total roof warranty with them! In August we bought our house and had them come and do a full roof tune up that was part of getting a ""total roof warranty"" - we paid around $600 for the warranty and around $500 for the tune up and were assured the roof is in great shape now, good for the next 5-10 years thanks to their tune up. Well fast forward to the first rain in November/December....our roof starts to LEAK! Not to worry though, right? We have the total roof warranty they guaranteed their work. We call them up and they can't come see the roof leak because they're busy for the next 1.5 MONTHS! Okay, fine. It rains a few times in between, but it is what it is. Finally they come out, the roofer does an inspection and proclaims that they do ""warranty"" the roof work (up to $1000), however insists that the roof is actually in really bad shape and needs to be completely ripped out and replaced, thousands and thousands of dollars!!! But they'll apply their $1000 towards it, yay. Needless to say, it was all a scam. We got a reliable roofer to inspect, fix, and make sure it doesn't leak again in that spot for 5 years for $700. And he said the roof is in great shape, just 1-2 slipped tiles, hence the leak in one spot.

Run away from this shady company, instead of providing the warranty we payed for by in their total warranty and even tune up, they wanted more money by lying and trying to have us put on a new roof. The house is 20 years old with a tile roof (tile roofs last 50 years). The roofer who came to work with us was amazing, went up on the roof and took pictures explaining the problem and also explained Roof RX shady tactics. They will never honor their warranty, instead they'll tell you that your roof needs $10-20 thousands of dollars first, then they'll apply their $1k. Hopefully this helps someone else not get scammed like we did!

Had Roof RX come out for a free assessment of our roof. Pictures were well done and all issues were explained upfront. Professional and courteous and would recommend.

Noticed a leak with water dripping from edge of powder room exhaust vent. Leak occurred during extremely heavy downpour ion Thanksgiving day 2019. I contacted Roofrx and they dispatched an inspector 2 days later. He took photos of the area of the roof in need of repair. The estimate was for what roofers refer to as a ""square"" which is 10 square feet. That is the minimum dimension that most qualified roofing contractors will repair. The price was reasonable so I agreed to have them do the job. The inspector gave me a thorough description of the damage area that needed repairs with numerous photos to support the estimate. The only downside was that the soonest that repairs could be done was a month (Jan 3,2020) down the road. That is the reason for the 4 star review. I opted to crawl up onto the roof ( two bad knees and bad hip awaiting replacement not withstanding) and goop some Henry's on as a temp. I'm glad I did as we got hit with another bout of heavy rain the next few days. My temp fix held up until the contractor arrived on Jan 3 right at 0800 as scheduled. One man crew took about 6 hours to complete the repair. Removed the damaged area and adjacent shingles laid/sealed new roofing paper and new 30 year shingles which matched perfectly with existing roof. Contractor did a thorough clean up and removed all related debris. Roofrx did send a completion email replete with photos of the job progressing and finished. This is my second experience with Roofrx and I do recommend them.

Our experience with RoofRx was terrible. It's trite but true: if I could rate them 0 stars, I would. They came to our house more than 8 times in 4 years (~2017) to fix a leaky roof, for which we paid them about $4000. They were never able to fix the problem. A number of their workers even admitted ""oops, yeah, we messed up before. This should fix it."" But of course, it didn't. One RoofRx worker, when we asked if this would finally fix it, said ""It better! If it doesn't, I'm coming back and torching the house!"" Nice; exactly what you want to hear from people to whom you're paying your hard-earned money.

After we hired another roofing company to fix the problem, we approached RoofRx and asked if they'd honor their guarantee by paying us back. After many stalling tactics over several months, they agreed to refund our money, but it's been 2 years (and counting!) and they still have not reimbursed us. We took them to small claims court, but they did not attend the hearing, and the judge ruled in our favor. They have received official court documents informing them of this ruling. Yet, they still refuse to pay.

Clearly, they do substandard work, do not honor their agreements, and have little regard for honest business dealings. Disappointing all around.

2019-12-15 Update: It's been 8 months since the judge ruled in our favor, and they still refuse to pay. Given this fact, we have worked with the Contractors State License Board (CSLB) of CA, who has officially revoked their license to do business in CA, due to their illegal activity. They are now operating illegally. The revocation even stated that it the leadership of this company is unable to do business legally in CA (e.g., they cannot just open up a new company to hide from this illegality). If you hire RoofRx or any company under its leadership (Shane Davis Hall, Marco Guerra, or Eduardo Guerra) know this: they cannot pull a permit to do the work, they are operating illegally, and if they are discovered working on your home they can actually be arrested (https://bit.ly/2sxcUO8). That could seriously hold up the work....

We have a vintage mid-century modern home and garage. Toby did our inspection. He was amazing. He took his time and addressed every area of concern. Kameron helped us keep the cost down. We decided to replace the entire large garage roof and amazingly they did it in just 1 day! They were courteous, clean and quick! Thank you guys!

Roof RX replaced all my damaged tiles after I had my home tented for fumigation. That repair almost did not happen. Due to personal reasons I had to reschedule several times. Once I spoke to Christina and specified why I had to do all of those reschedules, she took it upon herself to share with her coworkers. Lo and behold, I received a beautiful card in the mail just a few days after speaking with Christina, signed by everyone at the Roof RX office. I was so overwhelmed by their act of kindness and concern for me. I would gladly recommend Roof RX to anyone seeking roof services. Not only because they did a great job repairing my roof, but also because of their fantastic customer service. Thanks Roof RX :)
