After 3 years of trying to find a decent roofer filled with bad experiences, no shows (even after contract signed) and failed communications from contractors large and small, Steve and Roof Right dropped into my lap. While giving my neighbor a quote, she ran over and told me to drop everything and meet this guy who was too good to be true.

Steve discussed all options with us both. He not only brought samples of the various types and colors of roofing materials (one competitor told me to visit his supplier and choose what I wanted), he also had samples of all gutter and flashing materials and colors.

Steve came back several days later with a complete estimate and package. He explained every step and correctly set our expectations. The work began several weeks later as promised (not several months later like the others).

Steve called the Saturday before just to ensure he had answered all my questions. Because no one was home during the work, without prompt Steve called me each evening of the 3 day and gave me a progress report (who does that??). When the work was complete, he arranged to stop by well after hours (I commute far away to my job) to ensure I was pleased with their work. Not only was the work flawless, but his crew literally raked and swept the ground on all 4 side of my yard to ensure they had recovered all old materials and nails. To say I have been completely satisfied with this entire experience is an understatement.

Steve and his team are a small shop by intention. He strives to provide a high quality product at a professional level at a fair price. He has achieved the highest factory certifications from his supplier and truly knows his business better than all the others.

Roof Right succeeds on all counts, and you can't go wrong choosing them to handle your roofing/gutter job. Did I say they capably handled the facia rot they found with great quality as well (for a very reasonable extra cost)?

We replaced our roof and put in a solar system. Steven did a great job explaining options and doing the work. He coordinated with solar company, set up the solar mounting with putting roof in so the installation was complete integrated and seamless. Could not be more satisfied!

I had my shake roof recently replaced with composite shingles.
Steve with Roof Right was very responsive from the initial call to the final job. His crew was small but very efficient and they knew what they were doing. They did a great job, cleaned up, and were very efficient. Very hard working guys. The roof looks great. Steve also replaced the skylights. I had a few other bids, and Steve's bid was the best out of all. Some were considerably higher which just makes you feel like you are being taken advantage of. I highly recommend Steve and his Roof Right crew.

I called roof right for an estimate on may /12/ 2020. I talked to a guy name Steve. I am looking for an high end experienced roofer to get estimates for either a roof repair or total roof replacement.This guy was very ignorant to keep up a common sense consultation regarding my request. He became very rude and insulting. I am continuing my research to find a decent guy who knows how to consult.

We were told that we needed a new roof, with some urgency. I set up an appointment with Steve to come out and give us an estimate and not only did he very honestly inform us that we do not need a new roof, but he was wiling to share other information with us regarding questions we had related to our roof. We greatly appreciate Steve's honesty and friendliness, and when we do need a new roof, I believe he will be our first call!

I highly recommend these guys to anyone looking to replace their roof. The job was done in just a few days and looks amazing. Steve did an amazing job explaining the process and what to expect during the process. We were alerted to any findings (like an unexpected second roofing layer). It is all in the name...if you want your roof done right go with Steve and Roof Right. Steve took care of us from beginning to end. He sells a quality product and did not try to over sell us. He finished the job on time and was on budget. He even threw some extra work to fix some rot for free. I would absolutely use him again but unfortunately I won't need him for 50 years as that's how long my new roof will last.

When it came time to replace my roof, I started the process of asking around for recommendations, reading Yelp reviews and calling companies for estimates. It turned out to be a very frustrating endeavor! Of the 9 different companies who bothered to call me back, several never showed up for the scheduled time frames and didn't even have the courtesy to let me know so that I wouldn't be waiting all day for them. One person told me that the pitch of my roof was too steep and he had so much work that he didn't want to do it (I appreciated the honesty). A few other companies gave me such high estimates that it would have taken me another couple of years to save for it. I was really feeling discouraged.

I was ready to give up, but then I got a call from Steve, the owner of Roof Right. He apologized for not getting back to me sooner, that the email that I had sent got buried. I skeptically made an appointment to meet up with him. Unlike the other roofers, he came very prepared with samples and references and lots of knowledge. He did not keep me long (like I said, I was feeling VERY skeptical by now). He said that the pitch of my roof was not a problem for his company. He gave me a long list of addresses with all the roofs he had done in the past. It turns out that my sister's address was on the list! I called her and she said ""yes, it was done 15 years ago and there have been no problems."" After a few days, Steve sent me the estimate and it was very competitive. Needless to say, I went from skeptical to feeling good about this major project.

Steve told me that it would be several months before they could do my job and then we had a very wet winter. He was very communicative about the time-frame and was finally able to schedule my job. His team came on time and worked very long and hard. On the second day of the job, I requested that they remove a damaged and useless skylight. Steve gave me a reasonable quote and they seamlessly took care of it. A few days after the job was done, I called Steve to complain that my whole house fan was acting up. He sent his foreman out right away to remove any dust or debris that may have gotten into it. The fan is now working perfectly.

This company was wonderful to work with. They came on time, worked until the job was completed and were very responsive. I now have a beautiful new roof and gutters. I am confident that if I have any problems in the future, Steve from Roof Right will make it right.

We never do things the way we ""should""
in the case of roof right, perhaps we lucked out, perhaps it was kismet, so to speak.
either way, we now have a roof that causes envy of our neighbors.

One of our neighbors had his roof done by Roof Right not too long ago, and when time came for our roof, he was the only one we called.

on his punctual arrival he brought out samples of his shingles and discussed the various shingles. It was an easier process to decide which shingles to use than I had anticipated, especially after he mentioned the reflective, thicker than usual shingles.
He then mentioned his process, the added ventilation our attic would have (possibly helping with insulation) and even some spacing between tiles on the roofing cap.

as usual, a bit of a delay to when he could start, and although he was not able to be there on the day he had slated to start that day, this did not really bother me----they had found more dry rot on the house they were doing previous to mine, and needed more time to make it right--a factor that also reassured me we made the right choice.

Over the course of four days, our house went from old roof removed, minor dry rot corrected (as well as some irregularities/slope in the old roof corrected) and a new roof (Gorgeous, by the way) installed

After the roof was done our back deck and sides of the house were promptly swept and washed of the roofing dust.

All in all, a fabulous job done, and I have no doubt done RIGHT. Since I did not get multiple other estimates, I cannot confirm, but it seemed to be a very reasonable cost for the work, and QUALITY work done.

These guys are seriously fabulous! Steve, the owner is kind and professional and his crew is fantastic! The attention to detail was not something that was expected. The roof was done exactly when it was said it would be done too! They even clean up the entire mess daily! Fantastic! Completely recommend these guys.
