It is all in the name...if you want your roof done right go with Steve and Roof Right. Steve took care of us from beginning to end. He sells a quality product and did not try to over sell us. He finished the job on time and was on budget. He even threw some extra work to fix some rot for free. I would absolutely use him again but unfortunately I won't need him for 50 years as that's how long my new roof will last.

When it came time to replace my roof, I started the process of asking around for recommendations, reading Yelp reviews and calling companies for estimates. It turned out to be a very frustrating endeavor! Of the 9 different companies who bothered to call me back, several never showed up for the scheduled time frames and didn't even have the courtesy to let me know so that I wouldn't be waiting all day for them. One person told me that the pitch of my roof was too steep and he had so much work that he didn't want to do it (I appreciated the honesty). A few other companies gave me such high estimates that it would have taken me another couple of years to save for it. I was really feeling discouraged.

I was ready to give up, but then I got a call from Steve, the owner of Roof Right. He apologized for not getting back to me sooner, that the email that I had sent got buried. I skeptically made an appointment to meet up with him. Unlike the other roofers, he came very prepared with samples and references and lots of knowledge. He did not keep me long (like I said, I was feeling VERY skeptical by now). He said that the pitch of my roof was not a problem for his company. He gave me a long list of addresses with all the roofs he had done in the past. It turns out that my sister's address was on the list! I called her and she said ""yes, it was done 15 years ago and there have been no problems."" After a few days, Steve sent me the estimate and it was very competitive. Needless to say, I went from skeptical to feeling good about this major project.

Steve told me that it would be several months before they could do my job and then we had a very wet winter. He was very communicative about the time-frame and was finally able to schedule my job. His team came on time and worked very long and hard. On the second day of the job, I requested that they remove a damaged and useless skylight. Steve gave me a reasonable quote and they seamlessly took care of it. A few days after the job was done, I called Steve to complain that my whole house fan was acting up. He sent his foreman out right away to remove any dust or debris that may have gotten into it. The fan is now working perfectly.

This company was wonderful to work with. They came on time, worked until the job was completed and were very responsive. I now have a beautiful new roof and gutters. I am confident that if I have any problems in the future, Steve from Roof Right will make it right.

We never do things the way we ""should""
in the case of roof right, perhaps we lucked out, perhaps it was kismet, so to speak.
either way, we now have a roof that causes envy of our neighbors.

One of our neighbors had his roof done by Roof Right not too long ago, and when time came for our roof, he was the only one we called.

on his punctual arrival he brought out samples of his shingles and discussed the various shingles. It was an easier process to decide which shingles to use than I had anticipated, especially after he mentioned the reflective, thicker than usual shingles.
He then mentioned his process, the added ventilation our attic would have (possibly helping with insulation) and even some spacing between tiles on the roofing cap.

as usual, a bit of a delay to when he could start, and although he was not able to be there on the day he had slated to start that day, this did not really bother me----they had found more dry rot on the house they were doing previous to mine, and needed more time to make it right--a factor that also reassured me we made the right choice.

Over the course of four days, our house went from old roof removed, minor dry rot corrected (as well as some irregularities/slope in the old roof corrected) and a new roof (Gorgeous, by the way) installed

After the roof was done our back deck and sides of the house were promptly swept and washed of the roofing dust.

All in all, a fabulous job done, and I have no doubt done RIGHT. Since I did not get multiple other estimates, I cannot confirm, but it seemed to be a very reasonable cost for the work, and QUALITY work done.

These guys are seriously fabulous! Steve, the owner is kind and professional and his crew is fantastic! The attention to detail was not something that was expected. The roof was done exactly when it was said it would be done too! They even clean up the entire mess daily! Fantastic! Completely recommend these guys.

This review is long overdue. I had my roof installed last year. After doing a lot of research and meeting with several contractors, Steve was the most prepared and organized. He was thorough and knew his product since he's been a roofing contractor for 26 years. His pricing was also very competitive! The roof was completed as scheduled. The work was done efficiently and cleanly. I would definitely highly recommend him!

ROOF RIGHT put on our roof years ago-- maybe 10 + Steve was great, roof is still great. I just called him now as want to remove some solar panels and only want Steve to tough my roof:) and noticed there were not many reviews so thought I would do one.

Picking a roofer is stressful. But Roof Right was the perfect choice for us. We saw their trucks locally, met with the owner Steve, contacted previous customers (from their long list) and did a few drive by's just to look at the overall result.

Today they completed our new roof. We could not be happier with the work done and the men who did it. Professional, friendly, thorough and a very clean worksite, no stray nails or shingles and no damage to our landscape.

I can highly recommend Roof Right.

The one change would be the ability to communicate via e-mail or text versus phone...easier for us.

We discovered over the summer that Roof RIght took out our new (2015) existing attic fan and replaced it with a much less powerful one. Not great but could understand the possible confusion...what really bothered us was the wiring was substandard and presented a fire hazard. Roof Right paid for the re-wiring but per the contract should not have wired anything. We only found out when we had our HVac guy inspect the attic fan for underperforming. Make sure you clarify this point.
