I'm so glad I found Martin on Yelp! I wanted to get a health checkup and help troubleshooting an issue with my gutters before our So Cal rainy season and I texted Martin on Sunday and he immediately got back to me with a date out a week but I got lucky and he was able to come out on Friday to check out the work . I was impressed by Martin's professionalism and thoroughness. He walked me through what he planned on doing, what could possibly happen ( good or bad) and how he would then proceed. Within a day, I get a comprehensive and transparent estimate for the work and it couldn't be more reasonable. After I tell him he has the job, he says he can do it on Monday. and he's not only done but there was a problem that a plumber needs to take care of but he explained everything so that it made sense and he said he could come back after the plumber finished so he can complete his work. Talk about a results orientation and full on accountability. It's also not fair to mention last what a genuinely nice guy Martin is as well. I will definitely keep Martin in my rolodex.

Martin is a one-man team roof repair. He is honest, professional, polite, reliable, very reasonably priced and very skilled. We invited him two years in a row to maintain our aging roof. He is true to his estimates and communicates before and after very clearly - he is quick and easy to reach and provides photos of the issue and the work completed. He is very focused when he works and always projects a reliable and a professional vibe.

When a gutter leak persisted after his initial repair (it was an issue with multiple causes), he came back promptly, performed thorough testing to figure out root cause, performed the additional work needed to stop the leak, and did it at no extra charge. It's clear that he stands behind his work and is trustable.

For any roof maintenance work I trust Martin and will recommend him to anyone else.

Last year, he did mention that he doesn't install brand new roofs but specializes in maintaining existing roofs, which is exactly what we need for our home.

I had a rodents problem, so I hired Martin to inspect and seal all entry points on the roof. He did an excellent job fixing vent pipes flashing, replacing and painting damaged fascia and soffit sections, installing a mesh screen to seal attic vent, and some other misc items. Showed up on time and completed the work at a reasonable price. Would definitely hire him again for any future roof repair work.

Martin is so competent and his prices are great!!! I'll add to the review after the next rain as to the actual repair. He got back to us very quickly and seems very professional. He provides photos and a 2 year guarantee. Very pleasant to deal with. So after a massive wind and rain event the roof has not leaked. AND MARTIN TEXTED US THE MORNING AFTER AND and ASKED!!!! Love his integrity and skills!!!

I recommend Martin for roof repair. He has prolonged the life of my roof with maintenance, adding ventilation and removing old nails etc. He is fair and honest and does excellent work. Highly recommend !

Pioneer Roofing is great!
Martin was very quick to respond, schedule and finish the repair work on our roof. His services are very reasonably priced and he sent pictures of the different areas where the roof tiles were in need of repair. He accurately pinpointed where a leak was coming from in the skylight and sealed it as well. He shows up exactly when he says he will and texts updates. He was very professional and did a great job. We are so glad we found him and will be using his services again to spray our roof to rid it of some algae growth. Highly recommend.

Martin is straightforward, reasonably priced, and excellent at his work. He took the time to review a number of issues and when I suggested we simply patch some areas to prevent further damage and just do the bigger re-roofing job later in life, he agreed it was a sensible decision. He took the time to restore an overhang to almost new condition and did the work right. I interviewed 2 other roofing companies who would have ripped me off.
