We noticed a water damage on our ceiling. Called in a water damage company to have it taken care of. After the repairs, they suggested us to contact a roofer for inspection. We contacted a couple of companies. Some of them will not be able to come for a couple of weeks, we set up an appointment with one but he did not show up. We ended up on calling Roof Proofing of Vallejo, an appointment was made. Daniel Cortez arrived at the set-up time, inspected and showed us pictures of the state of our roof. He explained to us what is needed to do in a clear way. He gave us a reasonable quote.

There was delay in the getting the Re-Roofing Permit from the City because of the Pandemic but he kept us posted with his efforts in contacting them. Once the permit was granted, Daniel and his crew started work. Upon completion, we again experienced delay in getting the final inspection but he diligently contacted the City and kept us posted.
We will not hesitate to recommend Daniel Cortez and his business to our family, friends and acquaintances and will use him again should the need arise. Thank you, Daniel, for a job well done.

I had been looking for a Roofing Co. for several weeks for what I hoped were small roof repair jobs in the near future. I had talked with several roofing companies either in person or on the phone. Generally none were interested in a small job.

Daniel from Roof Proofing came out the same day he called me in response to my call for help. Daniel was very knowledgeable , and determined what my roofing problems were . He was able to show me photos of what he found were the problems on the roof ,and explained how to solve the problems. Daniel was able to repair both roofing problems same day and cost was very reasonable. Very professional young man . I highly recommend Daniel and his company to everyone.

I consulted with 3 different companies on a roof project. Daniel was honest and told me that I didn't need a new roof, but recommended certain maintenance and improvements which would prolong the life of the roof as well as improve airflow. When I asked about his specific recommendations to the other ""larger"" roofing companies, they all confirmed that it was spot on. (But then still tried to sell me a new roof anyway!)

Work done by Roof Proofing was timely and professional. Also very responsive via phone and text. I would certainly use them again at the next opportunity.

I needed to have the Valleys on my tile roof inspected and cleaned. The home is 28 years old and I had never had them inspected or cleaned out since I moved in 20 years ago.
Roof Proofing came when they said they would and did a thorough job inspecting. They found some damaged valley flashing and wood and replaced that day as well as sealed the entire area. The work was professional and completed quickly in the 95 degree day. Very happy with their detailed work and would recommend their services to my friends and neighbors.

I contacted this company to come out to see about a leak in my roof. He kept in contact through Yelp. Showed up on time I explained to him what was going on. Showed him the area where the leak was he looked at it asked if he could go in the attic. He looked around could not find any leaks. So he went on the roof and after a few minutes he took me up on the roof to show me where the leak is coming in. He told how to fix it on my own. He is. Straight up honest guy. He could have easily told that I would need a new roof but he didnt. I highly recommend this guy.
