I was hoping for a nice experience with Roof Master, but unfortunately, I didn't get a chance.
First, this company advertises in the Venice Community Newsletter using an address they moved from many years ago. They have a completely different address and phone number from their actual address. I received a call back from the apparent new owner named Chris. I explained I needed to have an inspection on my 94 year old mother's roof. He said fine and I gave him the address. Chris said he would come by the next day to do it. Unfortunately, he was a no show.

Two days after our conversation, Chris calls me and says he has a note to call me, but does not have any details. When I reminded him of our conversation, he apologized, but became very abrupt and defensive. He gave no explanation for missing the appointment. Eventually, he just said never mind and hung up.

After this initial experience, Roof Master is not the company I want to do business with. I suggest anyone considering them should do their homework and vet them before you decide.

Through the inspection process and then meeting with multiple roofing companies for their inspections and quotes, I was fortunately introduced to Chris Kim. He made himself available quickly as I had to make a decision very promptly, and he gave me a very reasonable quote. Most importantly, he was honest about the scope of work that needed to be completed. I had an appointment, I made it over the New Year holiday. I called the day of to confirm, and sent him a text. He called me back after the time of my appointment and said he had the wrong number for the address???? But then said he was no longer coming for my appointment. He was incredibly rude like another person has reviewed. Do not waste your time with this company.

I was very impressed with the quality and service this company did for my commercial building. Our roof came out really nice. Chris GOOD JOB!! After our roof was installed it rained buckets and guess what???? NO LEAKS.

With the treats of El Nino I was concerned with the garage roof and SCE had done some damage to the roof of my house.

I started calling around in October 2015 getting bids on the two roofing jobs that we needed done and most of the roofing companies were so booked up that it seemed like we would have some rain damage before they could come out and give us an estimate.

The bidding process began and I could not believe how far fetched they were.
One company was really over the top for just one of the jobs with a bid coming in thousands of dollars, their defensive is that they were real roofers and not handymen. SMH

I continued to accept bids, however when Roof Master's came out I knew they were the one's that we were going to use and I told Sunny that.
I am so happy that I followed my heart, after talking to Sunny I felt comfortable, Sunny explained everything and wrote it down and true to his word and estimate Roof Master's did exactly what he said and wrote down (no changes, NO PICKING numbers out of the air, I really HATE THAT Looking in the air as if someone up there is going to give them the digits)DUH

That was a Crazy Time for us and scheduling was almost impossible, there was a lot going on in our lives, however Roof Master's were very patience and waited on us, they called to check in and Sunny came by once to see if we had the work done already (it seemed like forever before we could set an appointment, however they continued to wait on us)

Once the date was set Roof Master's came early that morning and quietly worked the entire day(they completed the job and removed all of the old roofing materials and cleaned our yard in just one day) I was thinking how did they know I HATE NOISE, they were completely organized, they removed the old roofing material and QUIETLY put them in the truck and carried them away, however they were back in record time and proceeded to work on the roof.
I could not believe how neat they were, you could not tell that they had pulled an old roof off and replaced it with all new materials and even did the Tar Thing, WOW!

I started recommending them right away even before the rains came, BTW the new roof passed the rain and wind test and there were no rain leaks at all nor any wind damage(very good job and the price was affordable)
I would Happily provide more information on this company(they have been in business since 1979) and I totally understand why.

I did not have to supervise the workers at all(I DO NOT do roofing, however I think I know how it goes)Lol

My husband said too me that out of all the companies we used in 2015 they were the only one that we can honestly say we were completely satisfied with.

I called to get a quote. Introduced myself and they said they don't need it and hung up on me. I guess they didn't need my business so I would suggest nobody ever call them. They have several listings online so just look for their name and call someone else. I have never expected a business to be so rude to a potential customer.

I highly recommend this company. They came out to give an estimate on time. The quote was emailed to me within days (as promised). When I was ready to have my roof replaced Chris made it easy for me. They started the roof on Wednesday and was finish by Friday. I was amazed that it was complete so fast and neat. They didn't leave the old roof on my property overnight they hauled it away the same day. They worked with building and safety, I did not have to do anything but select my roof patter.
Honestly I didn't receive any other quotes so I don't know if they were reasonable but Roof Master was recommended by a friend. But I felt like I paid a fair price. I had a company come out that wanted to fix a leak that was on both sides of the house and Roof Master only charged a couple of thousand more that the other company and they replaced the entire roof.
So far so good. We had a good rain a couple of weeks ago and there are no leaks. I am so pleased. I will call them in 20 years when its time for another one : )
