Tom and Max are very easy to work with. though Tom was not onsite, but he calls in often to answer questions. Max was able to coordinate onsite works, and explain all questions.

We got a bid from another reputable company, and the differences were apparent from the start. Max's inspection was markedly more thorough and explained more clearly, including in response to follow-up questions. Both Tom and Max's communication throughout the job was outstanding, both in promptness and detail. All issues they brought to our attention were genuine (a few areas of dry-rot, a failing chimney cap, an aged vent fan, etc.) and we appreciated their concern for a quality job. Tom and his son Max were superb. The work done was professional with exceptional communication. The recommendations and education Tom offered was rewarding and insightful. They have supported my wife and I with a more beautiful house with a structurally safe and good looking roof. The value was rewarding compared to other places in the bay area. Max even went out of his way to come back after the painter painted the house to fix dripping from the gutter with caulking. Truly amazing. Highly recommend their expertise and service.

We knew we needed a new roof and were waiting for spring/summer to get the work done instead of during the rainy season.

Tom and Max were great at coming out to our house in a timely manner, explaining the types of roofs, and even looked into solar shingles for us since we were interested in it.

They communicated very well and added us to their schedule and made sure to clean up each day (for example they used a metal detector to pick up stray nails in the yard). They pulled the permits and made sure our roof passed final inspection.

We had a total of 4 roof bids and are glad to have gone with Roof Life.

Called these folks one early morning in December after my roof started leaking. Since there was no return call by 3pm, I called again and was told, we'll get back to you soon. It is now February and they never returned my call. Completely unacceptable!!
