After obtaining 3 bids to reroof my rental house a friend suggested I contact Roof Life Company who had reroofed her house and she was very pleased with their excellent work. I called and set up an appointment and met Joshua Clark at the rental house. Had difficulty picking out a color and Josh was so helpful in choosing the color he felt would complement the home. He wrote an estimate including new gutters right then and it was much lower than the other 3 estimates. Told me the starting date and exactly on that date the crew was out tearing off the old shingles. Next day started putting on the new roof and when finished left the property neat and clean. The roof looks great and pleased with the color as are the tenants! Even the new gutters were correctly placed. The crew was very professional and courteous. Recently we had a windstorm and the tenant heard a loud bang on the roof. I called the office and within an hour Josh was at the house inspecting the roof and everything was good, a branch had broken off a tree, hit the roof and landed in the neighbor's yard.
A special thanks to Josh and his crew as well as Trisha in the office who was very helpful and friendly. Josh always available to answer any concerns or questions I might have. I highly recommend this company and if anyone needs a roof or reroof Roof Life Company is the one to call. They not only do excellent work but are honest, trustworthy and take pride in their workmanship. Family owned business.

I am updating this review now that we met with Steve from Roof Life, and they are no longer working with us. Steve came out to inspect this year's leaks, and we all agreed they would repair the roof this winter and give us a small portion of money to help with us purchasing another new roof from someone else. After he left, he sent me a message saying that his company would not do any more work on our roof (so they would no longer repair the current leaking situation even though he said they would and the warranty goes through 2018), but they would send us a good faith check for just under 10% of the cost of the roof to get it patched by someone else or to use it toward another roof. We have since received the check and are appreciative of this gesture, however, we just spent significantly more than that amount to repair the roof and will now need to spend over 4x that amount to fix the dry rot and damage from their leaking roof. In the end, I do not recommend this company especially if you have an old and/or nearly flat roof because I do not have confidence in their skills in this area given the problems we have had since shortly after installation.

Roof Life Co. put a new roof on my home a few months ago. We had a big loss during the storm and I was very upset and stressed out about it. They were very professional, kind, and understanding of my needs. I had three other companies come over. One, I like equally but Roof Life had the most reasonable cost. The other two were WAY over priced and rushed. I am happy I picked Roof Life, my new roof is beautiful. I am confident with my decision. I live on a slightly busy street and people stopped and asked about my new roof on more than one occasion. I highly recommend this company.

The owners son, Vice President, arrived at my parents home 1 hour and 40 minutes before his appointment. He knocked once and then got his ladder and got on the roof without an answer or permission. Their roof has had leaks and some problems spots, which my father would have liked to communicate to them before walking on the roof.
Very disappointing and such a high quote.

We called and scheduled a roof inspection on our residence and was a running a little late to the appointment, I called the office and advised that I was going to be late and Roof Life was very accomadting to my change in appointment time. I arrived and met Steve who performed the inspection and was very detailed and informative during the roof check up. I am very satisfied with the detailed explanation Steve communicated to me while on site and will keep Roof Life company in my address book and spread the word that this company is first class.

Two days ago arraigned to have them to come by today between Noon and 2 for an estimate for roof cleaning and possibly gutter covers. I tried to get a more convenient time as I work, but that's the best they could do. I said OK, I'll just take the day off. So, at 10am today I left for an hour to Home Depot for a short errand. While there my smartphone was going off because my security camera's motion sensor was going off. I got back just before 11am and reviewed my video. Joshua rang the door bell @ 10:15am, and obviously I didn't answer. Then 15 minutes later at 10:30 Joshua left a brochure with a quote at my door step after trying the door bell once again (again I was not there to answer). The quote indicated that he walked the roof and noticed shingles in need of repair and some exposed felt. I find it highly unlikely Joshua was able to get a ladder, walk the roof and write the quote all in 15 minutes. So, for this and the fact they didn't keep their scheduled appointment time, I am not going to consider them at all, no matter how good the reviews say they are.

We called for an estimate of new venting and gutter repairs on our home. Joshua promptly made and appointment to look at the site and give an estimate. After viewing the scope of work we were told he would supply estimate within the next day. After 4 days went by, I called the company again and asked for a follow up about the promised estimate. The person apologized and I was told they would get back to me with the bid for the work. Another 5 days have elapsed and no call back. I would stay away from this contractor, Joshua's business card indicated him as the COO. Lacking in professional communication and follow up.

With the last big rain storm here in Sacramento, we discovered that we had a roof leak in our front bedroom. We had water damage to the ceiling and the insulation. We contacted Roof Life Co. and made an appointment for an estimate. He arrived on time and got right down to business. He gave us a good estimate and we had him do the job. The work was done in a timely and clean manner. Before they started the tear off they draped the plants and water fountain that was below where they were working. They started on time and finished the job that afternoon. When they left everything had been cleaned up and the work looked great.
We would definitely recommend Roof Life Co.

I was in process of buying a house, and Steve came out and gave my home a thorough look over, inside and out, for tell-tale signs of leaks including in common leak areas, eaves and the roof itself. He had expert knowledge of the low-slope roof, by biggest concern. Several other local roof companies would note even come and give me a quote! Steve was knowledgeable, and really took the time to explain everything to me in very clear, understandable detail. I very much appreciated his friendliness, attention to detail and the time he took to answer every question and concern I had. Would definitely recommend, especially as a go-to for those hard to find contractors for low-slope roofs!
