I highly recommend Roof Guys! They are the best in the Sacramento area for so many reasons!

1. First and foremost, Brian offers excellent customer service. He diligently listened, and quickly put together his own report.

2. He quickly came up with a plan to fix my roof. The report was very concise and professional.

3. Offered a free quote, which was a reasonable price compared to other roof companies in the Sacramento area.

3. The job was finished within the time frame he stated. This was a definite plus because I needed my roof done before the holidays!

4. Most importantly, my roof came out looking better than ever! I am extremely happy with the outcome.

I can't rate their work, but their customer service is excellent! Like Drew W., I made several phone calls to various Sacramento area roofers. Roof Guys was the only one that had an owner/roofer actually answer the phone (I did get one receptionist, but she could only take a message - no help). I am a Realtor and I was looking for a roofing company to review a bad home inspection report that basically condemned a 6 year old roof. (DON'T use UPI Inspections). Brian listened and, after reviewing the report, sympathized with me and agreed to put together his own report. Brian came through within a day with a thorough and detailed illustrated professional report. His findings showed the roof to be in solid shape with only a few minor repairs needed, and he contradicted bad terminology used in the report that mistakenly condemned the roof. Even though it didn't save the deal (the buyers refused to look at the new report, preferring to believe the erroneous one), I was truly impressed with Brian and his desire to correct a wrong-doing for the sake of the sellers I represented. I will definitely be calling him again in the future, and will recommend him to my clients. Thanks again Brian!!

We had a new roof put on in February. Worked primarily with Brian from The Roof Guys. Brian has a great enthusiasm for the roofing business. I did see the 1 star review below, and while I do agree it may be a bit of a challenge to immediately reach Brian, I felt he was responsive, and interested in providing good customer service. His crew started when they were supposed to. Cleaned up every day. They stayed on the job until it was complete. We love the roof we selected, CertainTeed Presidential Triple Layer. We also opted for the thermal barrier sheeting, and had insulation done. Were they the cheapest, doubt it. I did receive one other estimate that was about the same. Brian was great about letting me pay the suppliers direct so we did not stress about a lien. All liens were released, inspection by the city was done and passed with no problem. My takeaway is that The Roof Guys are a fairly priced, experienced roofing company that will do a good job. Communication in the beginning, and the actual estimate took more time than I thought it would, but once we started all went well. I would recommend them. Of course it has not really rained yet :-)

This review is way overdue. In November, our tenant started complaining about a leak that would occur every time it rained hard. I had a company come out and do a leak repair and they informed me that I should get the roof inspected immediately. I called a company and they came out within a couple of days did an inspection and drew up the paperwork and first told me that the work would begin in three days (since it was an emergency), didn't happen. I called and was told it will start after the weekend, again didn't happen. Called again and was told that for sure this would start by the end of the current week, before the heavy rain storm moved in, didn't happen again. I called and they would not respond. I looked for another roofer and found Roof Guys. Brian was very helpful and in fact had worked on this same roof a few years before we bought this home. He knew exactly what the problem was and sent his guys out during the rain/storm to do a temporary fix. I was going to hire him to do the job, but as soon as I sent a threatening email to the previous company they were out there to do the job the next day. Brian is awesome, friendly, efficient and great with customers. I would definitely be going to him for any further roof problems.

Brian of Roof Guys and his team were responsive, answered our many questions, prepared a detailed and easy to understand proposal, were on schedule as far as dates and length of job, on time daily, cleaned up daily, and were perfectionists in their work. We are so happy with our roof. Brian listens to your wishes for the look you are trying to achieve and has an eye for the type of roof and color that will compliment your house and neighborhood. This review does not rate their work, but rather customer service. I called about having a replacement roof done on a halfplex rental unit in Roseville. Brian answered the phone and took my information, saying he would get back to me with an estimate. Eight days later I called to follow up as I had not heard back. Got voice mail so left a message that I was following up and to please call back. No call back. Called 2-3 days later and got Brian on the phone. He assured me that they had been out to look at the property and he would send me the estimate via email at the end of the day. This is 5 days later and I have received no email. Obviously they had not been out to look at the property, nor had they written an estimate or he would have easily emailed it to me. Apparently, they do not want my business. I was relating this story to a neighbor who expressed the same customer service in her dealings with Roof Guys. Look somewhere else for a reliable business.

I called for an estimate; someone came out and got on the roof. He was here for maybe 10 minutes then came to my door and said someone would contact me in 3-5 days. Never heard from them again!! I only rated them with one star because you can't leave 0 stars.

I contacted the Roof Guys by phone, did not receive a personal answer, but left a voice message. Didn't get a return phone call for over 24 hours ... and didn't get anybody to come to the house for several days after that. It's now been over a week since someone actually showed up and I still don't have a quote! If this is how they deal up front, I don't care what they might charge! Totally undependable.

I don't know if it's roofers in Sacramento or roofers in general, but Brian and his company Roof Guys were one of two companies that even returned my calls and emails (I contacted everyone within a 30 mile radius of Sacto) and when it came time to provide an estimate, Roof Guys were the only ones to provide a clear, competent, and professionally laid out proposal.

Being the obvious choice, both from a value and reliability perspective, we hired them. Not only did they do an excellent job as far as workmanship goes (old shake roof completely stripped, ply base and new shingles laid), but they cleaned up their workspace, they were timely, and had the foresight to suggest updated color-matched architectural shingles over the three tab existing shingles on the adjacent structure, ensuring that the job not only cleared building inspection but also the city's aesthetic provisions (this is NOT an upsell... I checked. It was Brian doing right by his customer).

I highly recommend you reach out to Roof Guys for your next roofing project. If it's anything like our experience, you'll be very glad you did.
