DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY!!! I signed a contract with and gave a deposit to Roof Doctors nine months ago. According to the contract, they would start work 3-4 weeks once permits were issued. Knowing that contractors were busy after hurricane Ian, I waited a couple months before contacting the person that wrote the contract about any progress, only to find out he had been fired and told that he couldn't talk to me or he would be reported to the authorities. I called the main office and they told me I needed to speak with someone on my coast, but wouldn't give me his contact information. Eventually, they sent someone to my house that doesn't work for them and isn't licensed in Florida. No one replies to my calls and texts. They have not signed for certified letters I have sent. I reported them to the Better Business Bureau and the State Contractor reporting website and got no reaction from them. There still isn't any record of application for permits with the county and so I am now pursuing criminal and legal action.

Gave them a deposit for damage from Ian. Did not show up when promised. Gave new date. Did not show up. Quit taking our calls. Filed police report. No response.

Terrible experience! Beware!
We hired Roof Doctors LLC to repair our roof framing trusses and provide a whole metal roof replacement after it was damaged by Hurricane Ian. RD representative assured us that all our trusses are repairable and the framing repairs will be done in 2-3 weeks. The project start date was signed as March 27th 2023 and 30 % deposit ($19500) was paid on March 24th. However, no work was done on the site, no materials were delivered, and no permit application was submitted within 30 days after the project start date. The project start was rescheduled multiple times, finally on April 28th Englewood PM informed us that the project could not be started, because the company let go 2 main crews. He confirmed that RD will refund the deposit in 2 days. However, no refund was issued and after May 8th Englewood office completely stopped responding. RD head office didn't provide any updates or further project timeline. Every time we called the head office we've been told that the owner will contact us and the line was disconnected. On May 12th 2023 we have sent a registered letter of Demand for the Deposit Refund to Roof Doctors Head office and Englewood office. We have not received any reasonable response to our letter of demand within 30 days after delivery date. Instead, Roof Doctors started sending us very abusive, embarrassing messaging both on email and personal Facebook pages, calling us fraudfull people, SCUMBAGS, blaming in lying to our insurance and mortgage companies and making fraud. As we understand, the single purpose of the embarrassing messages was to provoke us to terminate our contract. This behavior is both unfair and unprofessional, unacceptable for the licensed contractors. . On June 19th 2023 RD issued a partial permit not sufficient to start a project, as a separate permit is required for the structural tresses repairs. We have contacted Roof Doctors LLC and their permitting company both by phone and email to notify that the open permit is not sufficient to start the job. We didn't receive any response within 3 weeks. Since our major concern for the roof repairs before the upcoming hurricane season, we had to terminate the current project and started looking for another contractor to complete the job. On July 15th our attorney have sent to the company a legal letter with the request of the full deposit refund since the company failed to provide the service in timely fashion. The request was fully rejected by the company owner. Currently, one month later we still didn't receive any refund or any suggestions from the company to resolve the situation, though we made few more attempts to communicate the settlement. In response we have only received a sarcastic email from the owner saying that they are not allowed to respond by our attorney (totally not true). Clearly, the company has the intention of holding our money without providing a service.

not only did they not fix my roof as promised, they did several thousan
d dollars of damage to my deck. a cement block was dropped on it and the guy who put on the sealant just threw the buckets down spreading the material all over the deck boards. i will have to replace ever board on my trex deck. for 5 months they've promised they'd be out, they never come. i've reported them to the bbb, and they have not responded. my only recourse at this point is to let an attorney handle it.

Before even giving a deposit, I insisted they go back and see all the rotten wood. They got me an estimate, I sent the deposit, waited 2 months for the permit, they delivered the materials and then demanded an extra $5,000. Owner never returned calls and after a month I got my money back.

I I had them come out to look at a leak in my garage the guy said it would be $1400 he fixed the roof a month later it rained and it was leaking again II called them back he came back and fixed it again but once again it leaked again so so I called them they sent out a send out a supervisor who told me he would have to talk to the owner and get back to me back to me the owner called me and told me it would be another $1600 to fix the roof Which they never repaired properly I had 2 companies come out and look at it the patchy put on was totally on the wrong place I would I would not recommend this company to anybody definitely look out I went to small claims court one against them they have not paid me.

Had the flat roof redone for my screened in patio. If you walk on it its squishy and water comes out the sides. No permit, MY BAD!!!! I have pictures where rusty water is leaking into the gutters.

horrible. came to my home to repair leaks and punched a hole in the attic cover and then we spoke with the manager who offered to fix it. yet when he came the next day he never texted us back on when he would bring it back and hasn't brought it back. horrible communication and customer service. the worker actually was arguing and trying to lie about who ""punched the hole"" when he knew it had just happened he tried saying it was the inspectors fault which was weeks prior. DO NOT RECOMMEND.

Very unprofessional staff. We purchased an investment property in Jensen Beach and called to get a quote for minor repairs and gutter work. ""Lou, the rep who contacted us was rude & insulting. Fortunately, my business partner steered me away from this business because she had a ""bad feeling"" about them. We really feel like we dodged a bullet!

I told myself I would leave two stars if they did a good job. This company sent Lou out to give me an estimate who was quick and friendly enough. Stupid me put a deposit down because the other estimators were dragging their feet. Long story short when I got the other estimates all of which were almost half I tried to cancel my service but was met with nothing but sour voices and an unwillingness to give me my cash. I was within 72 hours and was told to send a certified lettter. The job was done not to the specifications told to me, after I knew they were going to not refund my money because it was asked for in cash. The subcontractors they hired were friendly enough. The sales guy lou was waiting at the job site and ignored my tenant. My tenant felt slighted. Funny enough when he texted me asking for money he said my tenant inspected the job and thought it was great. I believe my tenant over him.I hope they pay their taxes. I would tell everybody get multiple estimates and dont give any cash deposits to these horrible business people!
