Very impressed with their service and their work. I got three quotes and this was not the cheapest, but I was so impressed with Roger and the quality of materials he uses, and the workmanship. I was not disappointed. Best part was how fast they did it. Last time I had a roof put on, we endured pounding for three days. This crew showed up at 3 pm one day, quit before dark, came back in the morning and finished by noon!

Happy customer here. Scott and his crew did not simply do a professional job installing a high quality and attractive roof in a single day, he took the initiative to improve my electric bills. I had ridge vents installed earlier in 2016 by another contractor after some leak damage, but I was not benefitting in my electric bills from these vents because of the original vents left near the crest of the roof. Scott took the initiative to check with me and remove those original vents which will greatly improve the airflow through my attic and allow my house to more efficiently cool itself in the summers to come. Kudos to Roof 1.

I am so happy that I chose Roof 1 Construction for my roof replacement from the recent hail storm. They climbed on my roof, met with my adjuster, explained to me what the process was and what the insurance summary was covering. The material was delivered and put in the exact location that I requested. The installers showed up and began work right away. The area was left
neat and clean when they were finished.

After hail storms battered my roof in May, I was contacted by several roofing companies. One stood out above the rest - Roof 1 Construction. When I met with the company owner, Scott Westra, he offered to install far superior roofing materials than what I presently had and what any other company offered. These materials included higher grade shingles, high traction synthetic roofing felt instead of the traditional asphalt felt that easily tears and absorbs moisture, a film-surfaced leak barrier, a superior roof ridge that what was on my roof, and eave/rake starter strips that eliminate shingles blowing off. He also offered to paint and caulk my home's soffit as well as replace my damaged gutters - even adding a gutter leaf guard for good measure.

After our initial meeting, Scott returned to meet with my insurance adjuster. Taking a proactive role, Scott pointed out the extent of the hail damage to my roof and gutters. This led to my insurance company providing me with an extremely fair settlement.

Three different work crews came when scheduled - the roofing crew, the soffit repair crew, and the gutter crew. When the work was done, each crew cleaned up afterwards leaving the place immaculate. Special kudos to Roof 1's amazing roofing crew. They removed the damaged roofing materials and replaced them with newer materials in only one day. Some of my neighbors used other companies and it took their roofing crews 2 to even 4 days to complete a roof no larger than mine.

After each job was completed, Scott came back to inspect the work and to ensure my complete satisfaction. He's very professional and just a great guy to work with. I've had other roofing work done in the past and no company can compare to Roof 1 Construction. This company not only provided excellent customer service and superior products, but over-delivered in many ways. I couldn't be happier with my new roof and gutters.

Anyone needing a new roof, roofing repairs, or gutters won't go wrong with Roof 1 Construction. I highly recommend them!

Our experience with Roof 1 was exceptional. We worked with Roger who was knowledgeable and patient with us. He came out to inspect our roof and saw hail damage. He came back when the insurance adjuster came out and even came back a third time to meet another adjuster when we protested the findings of the first adjuster. It was worth it and the insurance covered a new roof and gutters. Roger walked me through some options (no high-pressure sales!), worked with the adjuster and made the whole process hassle free for me. The crew came out right away and got the job done quickly. They left the worksite tidy each night and were very curteous and professional. The gutters and roof look fantastic - we couldn't be happier!

We have personally referred Roof 1 to a client and Scott Westra the owner really worked with the owner. The client of ours was selling the home and the inspection called for a new rood. The sellers insurance company didn't pay for the roof, and the expense was all on the seller. Thankfully Scott really worked with the owner and the sale of the home was saved. The buyer and seller were very happy. The jobsite was cleaned up and we closed on time.
