I received 6 or 7 bids on my roof. ROOF1 was the only GAF bid, the others were all Owens/Corning. I did my research on GAF and came away impressed. Roof1 came in under the other bids. I am always skeptical of the lowest bid. I put all the bids on a spreadsheet to compare the line items. After a conversation with Scott over the phone, I came away quite impressed. I was in the roofing biz for 3 years, but 40 years ago. I accepted his bid and the work began the following week. The materials showed up on time. The crew showed up on time. Carlos, the crew chief, is exceptional. He is also a pretty good carpenter, as I kept an eye on all their work.
I loaned him my chain saw and he trimmed back all my overgrown trees (no charge). They also put a new roof on an 8x8 shed and replaced the 1x6 fascia boards, gable rakes and damaged sheathing for $150. I provided all the materials (Roof1 supplied the underlayment and the shingles). The crew worked methodically until dark and didn't quite finish. They returned early next morning and finished in 3 hours. They left the premises cleaner than they found it. Best of all, my roof is beautiful and the color (Scott picked) matched perfectly! The warranty on the shingles and the work is outstanding. BOTTOM LINE: WOULD I USE ROOF1 AGAIN? ABSOLUTELY! Thanks Scott, you are a true professional.

Scott and his team were outstanding. Years after the roof was installed, I had a flashing issue. It was a builders defect, but Scott still came out and reattached the counter flashing over my bedroom. No questions asked. Roof 1 Construction follows through, even years after the sale AA+++.

Roof 1 Construction is awesome! My dad had noticed a few mishaps on our roof and was asking if I could get in touch with the company who replaced our roof several years ago. I didn't have their info so I texted a family friend if they know a good roofer. They referred Roof1 Construction. Scott came out and sat talked to my dad and myself thoroughly. He promised to have the products to be dropped off before working, had his crew out here working on time and Scott kept checking in on my dad to see if he needed anything. My dad is elderly and I was in and out of the house all day. I highly recommend this company! My roof looks amazing!

Scott and his crew did a fantastic job on my moms roof. When he quoted the work, he took pictures and explained everything in detail. He was very patient during the entire process. I called and spoke with the owner. He told me he would call me back the next day to schedule an appointment. I didn't hear from him so I phoned him the following day. We scheduled an appointment with his partner to come to my home.
I made the owner aware of the issues I was having with my roof.
When the man was to come to inspect my roof he called me to confirm the time. Then he phoned me and said he was across town, and could he come on Monday. (today is Wednesday)...He then went on to ask who my insurance carrier was. I had told the Owner what the issue was and that I needed someone to come out and go on the roof, take pics, and tell me what they see. This man only wanted to know who my Ins. carrier was, and said he did not want to go on the roof knowing that others were giving me a quote. I told him, that if I choose their company of course they would be paid. They obviously are not #1 in Customer Service. I immediately phoned the owner letting him know of this conversation. He offered to come out next week but after such a horrible phone conversation I would never want to deal with these people....

Very impressed with their service and their work. I got three quotes and this was not the cheapest, but I was so impressed with Roger and the quality of materials he uses, and the workmanship. I was not disappointed. Best part was how fast they did it. Last time I had a roof put on, we endured pounding for three days. This crew showed up at 3 pm one day, quit before dark, came back in the morning and finished by noon!

Happy customer here. Scott and his crew did not simply do a professional job installing a high quality and attractive roof in a single day, he took the initiative to improve my electric bills. I had ridge vents installed earlier in 2016 by another contractor after some leak damage, but I was not benefitting in my electric bills from these vents because of the original vents left near the crest of the roof. Scott took the initiative to check with me and remove those original vents which will greatly improve the airflow through my attic and allow my house to more efficiently cool itself in the summers to come. Kudos to Roof 1.
