Negative 100 stars. BEWARE! This company installed what they said was an impact skylight and then could never produce the report from the manufacturer that it was actually impact rated. I am not taking them to small claims. They are completely unresponsive now to my many, many requests for three months. I needed this for insurance purpose. Justice will prevail in court.

Within a week my old roof was torn down and construction for the new roof had begun. Very efficient workers, and the finished product looks perfect.
Thanks guys!

Finished roof with rusted nails all over my pool. They tried to get some of them out but left gouges in the Dimondbright. The stains are everywhere. There was even a pile at the end of the pool. It's like they got tired and left. Not getting good response from the company. Like this has never happened anywhere in FlBlamed the nails on me. Ron Bell not taking responsibility.

Ron Bell just finished my 2nd complete re-roof. The first one lasted well over 20 years with no issues, so when it was time to replace it, it was a no-brainer for me. Everyone on the crew and in the office was a pleasure to deal with. They use great materials, have many years of experience and do it all for a fair price. Not sure what more you could ask for. Would highly recommend!

Hired Ron Bell roofing to install a new roof. After 8 months the roof started to leak into my front bedroom where my 88 year old mother stays. After Ron Bell found the leak they would not answer the phone or emails for 3 weeks. Of course the problem was getting worse. Allison from Ron Bell told me (when I called from another phone ) They were short handed and she on vacation for a week because she deserved it. All the while letting my house flood everyday because we are in rainy season. Now we have a bedroom that the wall , carpet and ceiling needs replacing. I now have mold growing in the attic. I have my 88 year old mother living in the house. I kept her alive thru this whole pandemic ,only to have Ron Bell roofing knowingly endanger her life with knowing there is a leak and leaving the it for 3 weeks. I was told by Allison that the mold and all the damage in the house is not their responsibility. ( even if the leak was cause by them) If Ron Bell roofing would have fixed the problem right away instead waiting 3 weeks I would not have dangerous black mold problem in my house. Allison laughed and said it's not their problem, good luck with that.

I am so impressed - they are the best Roofers in South Fl! Both the roofers and office staff are very organized, professional, and courteous. I will have NO other company from now on and YOU should not either!
I have an older home with a 20 y/o roof. Surprisingly they never tried to sell me a new one, all though I probably will need a new roof soon. So while I am saving up for this venture, these guys seem to understand as they took their time, double checked my entire roof and were able to repair it,
making it last a few more years. I remain grateful to this company and highly recommend them for any roofing needs.
*Just know that I had three (3) other local roofing companies recently come to give me necessary repair proposals , before Ron Bell Company was referred to me, and they all said ""was not worth ANY fixing-happy to put a NEW ROOF on for you and do not worry about the cost, we will happily finance everything for you""! Yea, I bet they all would- making money on that financing.
No thank you, I will be happy to pay Ron Bell especially since he was the lowest quote.

What a horrible experience. Back in May 2018 I hired RB Roofing (Ron Bell Roofing) to fix two small leaks in my roof. They warranted the service for 1 year so they said. In February 2019 my house went under contract and the inspector questioned some brown drips around the repair area so the buyers wanted me to have Ron Bell Roofing come out and confirm the repair was holding. They wouldn't come out! So much for that one year guaranty. They were too busy so I had to get another roofer that my buyer's agent recommended who was amazing. There's more to the story....the house I'm buying has a barn on the property. That barn possibly needs a new roof. Ron texted me himself saying that he would have someone meet me there on Monday or Tuesday. Without telling me Ron decided his team was too busy and he'd give me a quote without looking at the roof. Ron was paying very little attention to my needs and kept thinking the house roof needed replaced and also the barn roof, etc. What he couldn't understand is that I needed an expert to actually determine what needed to be done. Ron was incredibly rude via text and when I insisted he keep his word and send someone out to meet me he tried to turn the tables on me implying I was too demanding and they couldn't meet my needs. The arrogance and lack of care was appalling. If I could put Ron Bell out of business I would because there are a lot of good, hard working and honest roofers available and Ron Bell is definitely NOT one of them. I do not recommend RB Roofing. Terrible customer service, awful listening skills and a true ""I don't care"" arrogant attitude.

Ron Bell roofing destroyed our driveway and refused to answer phone calls and emails regarding the broken driveway until I CCed them on the letter to my attorney asking him for his help. When they finally did respond by email they said that they were looking at it from all angles I don't understand what angles means it's their contract their job site their responsibility!
Horrible experience not just bad customer service no customer service. The staff is rude and irascible and definitely has a the customer is always wrong theory

The guys that did the actual work were great, and the repair was well done. However, the final bill was 54% over the estimate--in other words, a job estimated below $2K came in with $1,000 tacked on at the end.
An estimate is an estimate, but it should be accurate, educated, and reflect due diligence. I would recommend Ron Bell for the work, but strongly suggest getting a written, itemized quote rather than an estimate to ensure you pay what you expect to pay when the work is done.

Ron Bell charged me ninety-six ($96) per sheet for plywood. See attachments. $2,880.00 for wood in addition to the ""contract"" price of $11,280.00 for a 3144 sq ft re-roof. He refused to this date 4/28/2018 to show receipts for the two (2) trips his crew chief told me she made; charged to his account and receipt for sheets not used. The Decayed Wood Contingency clause is smoke and mirrors since the customer is not shown how many sheets he/she is paying $3.00 per linear feet for. Bell himself told me in person for any rotted spot that has to be removed two trusses must be covered by new plywood. I was charged for thirty-three new sheets of plywood. Nine (9) photos were taken total of rotted and new wood. I should have thirty-three (33) photos of rotted areas or of new plywood. I paid someone to go in the attic and take pics of the new wood. My house has hips and valleys. The attic is partially blocked. Home Depot wants the date, the order number, the exact amount or the account the purchases on 12/27/2017 was made to. I told Bell he could redact his account number. Just show me the amounts. The crew that removed the materials was not the same crew that laid the shingles. The first crew left materials in the grass, the hedge beds and planter. I did not know they were not going to return. I picked up all forms of materials from 12/27 to this date 4/28/2018. I took pics of the debris that I was picking up as I would walk the property to do work. $96 per sheet is what he knew he was charging at the outset. See his letter justifying the amount. Irma removed my shingles. This was hurricane related and he knew that. Charging ninety-six ($96.00) dollars for plywood reads like PRICE GOUGING to me! I paid the $2880.00 with a ""Paid in Protest"" letter accompanying it separate from the $11,280.00 contract price since he was going to charge me 1.5% finance charge/month on unpaid balance. Attorney fees and court costs if he took me to court. I would have to pay an attorney to take him to court. The court of public opinion is what I am appealing to to have Ron Bell make his ""contract"" straightforward. He told me on 12/29/2017 ""you are not the first person to be shocked by the ""Wood Bill."" I should be the last. I should have thirty-three (33) photos of rotted wood areas; thirty-three (33) photos of new wood. I should not have to pay overhead; no more than he actually paid the crew to cut the old wood and install the new over an above the time they would have spent; federal tax, social security, medicare and unemployment taxes on wood; the cost of nails for the 33 sheets is how much. The time to pick up that second purchase is a wash. The crew chief rang my bell at 4:30 pm to ask if she could leave Ron Bell's truck in my driveway ""I don't feel like driving it to the office and back here again in the morning. She also didn't feel like telling me she was getting wood that I could have paid for on my Home Depot account. When I asked her about it in a subsequent conversation she said ""when we see that we need more wood we don't stop. We keep going."" Makes not sense. She had to stop to go back to Home Depot. I was home the entire time. This was the truck that some of the debris was in. The rest was all over the property. Every type of nail, tin tags, pieces of shingles and 30 lb felt. The office is several miles away. See photos of some of what I picked up. Bell want and gets $96 per sheet. He should say that in plain English. Don't cloak it in linear feet construction speak. We lay people can understand per sheet speak.
