Very negative experience.

I went to the website of this company, they say they have thousands of satisfied customers. But their Yelp only has 6 reviews and their website and only a few other sites have reviews and there aren't very many. If this guy's work was so amazing, there would be a lot more. The last one on Yelp was 02/25/16. He has the contractor mindset where it's ok to blow people off and then give attitude when I did nothing wrong. His actions are very unfortunate, because he blew off the potential for thousands of dollars for a brand new roof.

I was talking to one of my Attorney's assistants in March this year when we had a lot of rain. I told her that I might have a leak in my roof. She recommended Rogers Roofing, she said Dean Rogers is a nice guy. I talked to Dean and he said he would contact me to make an appointment after the rain stopped.

A few days after the rain stopped I got a text that my appointment was 03/22/18 at 10:00 a.m. The morning of the appointment I got a text that the appointment was cancelled due to the rain and would be contacted with another appointment. The rain was very light and had actually stopped an hour before the appointment time and was sunny the rest of the day. I got a text a few days later that my appointment was moved to 03/28/18 at 11:00 a.m. No one showed up at 11:00 a.m. When no one showed by 12:30 p.m. I sent a text and did not get a response back. I called the office, the answering service answered, I left a message. A couple of hours later still no one showed. I sent another text and got no response. I called the office again, answering service answered, I left another message. I asked if they were receiving the messages, the lady said yes. I called the office one more time that day, answering service answered again, I hung up without leaving a message. I went to their Yelp and filled out the form contacting him that way. I never received a text or a call that my appointment had been cancelled and no one contacted me that evening.

I understand family emergencies, I have had very ill relatives. But the fact that he didn't take the time to send a text that would have taken 5 minutes is unprofessional. He sent a text when my appointment on 03/22 was cancelled, but he couldn't send one for this appointment. He could have had someone else call to cancel it, but didn't. The day after my appointment he sent an e-mail saying he took his grandson to the hospital and he would make contact the following Monday. I responded to his e-mail thanking him for responding and I apologized for the messages I sent. No one contacted me the following Monday or any day that week.

On April 7th I sent him an e-mail that I just want the appointment that was cancelled twice. I never got a response. On April 16, I sent an e-mail saying that due to my negative experience, I will be putting a review on Yelp and that I would be talking to the person who recommended him. He never responded to that e-mail but what he did was respond to my e-mail on April 7th twice. His responses were childish.

He should have given me the first appointment on 03/29. The fact that he made no effort to right the cancellations speaks volumes, and then gives me attitude for asking for another appointment and my right to post a review. Do these contractors go to school to learn how to treat people this way?

The service itself is great but the answering service lady Isabella is a unprofessional piece of crap. I called three days in a row just to speak with someone about repairing something they had already came and replaced and I could not even explain my situation today nor did she ask for any of my information before cutting me off and saying, they open at 8 am and are busy. I was trying to explain that this is my third attempt and is there possibly anybody I could speak with at all, and she said thank you and goodbye and hung up on me. I called back to tell her about herself and asked for another person to talk to other than her or another number, and she would not give me anything. When I asked why she rudely hung up on me in the middle of my sentence, she simply said, well you didn't have anything more to tell me other than what I've already heard. Then said she did not hang up on me but contradicted herself by saying that if I continue to yell at her, she will hang up on me again!! Horrible customer service. Not going to pay good money for horrible customer service!

So we move and need a roof inspection who do we call Rogers roofing! Did it in a timely matter and when it came time to due our roof on our new home we called Rogers Roofing again. They gave me and great deal and fit us in there busy schedule and had use done in 3 days! New roof and gutters . Great quality work,clean,on time, respectful nice to talk to ,answers my questions. For sure 100% #1 Roofing company around! Dean and Kim Rogers are amazing business owners and a life time friend now....

All I have to say is that Rogers roofing is top notch. We had told Dean that our old roof which was shake had a leak, we were not even in contract with him and he sent a crew over immediately. The men were here timely every day, cleaned up the mess after each days work. I would highly recommend Rogers Roofing to anyone. They were able to started the job in a timely manner and finished when they stated they would be. Wish I could give Dean higher than a five star rating as they deserve it. Also the price was very reasonable for 2 large roofs.

Dean and his company did a roof on a home I owned in Martinez in 2004 and it turned out great. A very professional job !

I can't give them enough stars!!! Excellent work & VERY reasonable prices. Tore off my old roof & put on the new one in 2 days. At the end of each day you couldn't even tell they had been there. Everything was all cleaned up. They have done 4 of my neighbors roofs since. Everyone was very happy with them. Highly recommend!!

Called once on Wednesday asking for an estimate. Lady on the phone got all my details (name, number, address) and said a tech would call me later. No one did.
I called again the next morning (Thursday) and mentioned that no one called me back and that it was the second time I called. The lady on the phone got all my info all over again and said a Tech would call me. Someone did call me about an hour later to schedule an appointment (not really a tech, but whatever). She said Tuesday, I said no. how about Today or tomorrow. She said she'd have to ask the owner and she'd call me later today.

I never got a call back.

Bad experience.
