Awful company! I have a place in Fl and they left me with a leaking roof and never came back to fix it. They are quick to ask for their money and they give you a lot of sales pitches on how great they are. I had to call non stop to get the final inspection done and they lost some of the paperwork as well. Don't use this company. They lie, lie, lie. Now I have to find someone to fix the roof. Worst roofing company I have ever dealt with!
Don't ever do business with this company and Mike Nodal!
They never finished the job and the new roof they put on did not pass inspection and this company will not remedy the problem!
DO NOT EVEN CONSIDER USING THEM!
You will regret it! We had problems with these crooks from day one!
DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY!! Robin Enterprises Inc is the worst contractor I've ever done business with... They are a complete disaster, they didn´t finish the job... I had to hire another roof company to fix the mess they left behind. They practically had to redo the whole roof from the beginning, which cost me an additional $12,000... Mike Nodal and Sandra Isern are just plain liars and very unprofessional people...
Do NOT use this company. They started on our roof over a month ago, left it partially done, and have not been responsive. Just hoping they will actually finish the job at some point and that, that point is before there's anymore damage to our house.
This roofing company is horrible. Do your research. Any positive reviews are by family and office staff. Mike Nodel should be ashamed of his terrible business practices. They will leave you without a roof, failed inspections and ignore your request for updates. Of course they will continue to ask for more money.
Provided a quote. It took longer than told, but maybe something held them up. I'll be checking with my neighbor to see if they're satisfied with the work completed for them.
Horrible service and very unprofessional company. They started our work back in August 2022, now we are Jan 2023 and work is in limbo. They took forever to first finalize a date to tear down the roof. finally after multiple follow up they did that in October. Then they kept fooling us on the city inspection for a month, when we followed up the city, we were told, this company never made any request for inspection. finally we had to chase and got the inspection which failed. then chase continued and finally before xmas the second inspection was approved. Now comes the tiles - since then we only get constant reschedule date on the tiles installation. Last week they called us asking if we can outlay the remaining money upfront (advance) around $4500+ only then they can proceed with the work, else they cannot guarantee when they can complete the work. Now they don't answer calls, and no updates. You call the office number it always goes on VM. If you get anyone from CSR all they say is we can notify the office via email, someone will call you, which never happened. This is a fraud company. I request everyone no matter how competitive quote they give, do not go with them. Saving some $$$ is not worth the headache you go with them. This company is a absolute scam.
Gregg L.Horrible customer service. They are unresponsive and do not communicate. I regret my decision to hire them for our roof replacement and would not recommend them for any job.
We hired Robin Enterprise in September of 2020 to extend the roof on our patio, install super gutter, gutters, and paint. I don't even know where to start because of the poor service and continuous lack of communication. First, we discussed installing a super gutter and extending the roof to enclose our patio. We were advised that the super gutter was not a good option as it would rot the fascia boards and a 6"" seamless gutter would be just fine positioned on top of the screen enclosure. We were told that all of the work would be completed in 2 months. The work began at the end of September. Robin Enterprise hired an engineer to draw up plans to enclose the patio and extend the roof. We realized there was a problem when the engineer's plan required 2x8 and the GC put in 2x6. The first inspection with the City of Plantation failed due to not following the plans as written. After the first inspection we were ensured by Mike that he would bring the plans back to the engineer and request revisions to the plans to replace the 2x8 with 2x6. The engineer advised that 2x8 were structurally appropriate and did not agree to the changes. Mike sent a different crew, which he described as more experienced, to correct the problem. Another inspection was scheduled several weeks after the first inspection, and we were ensured by Mike that the problem was resolved. Inspector came out and failed again. We are now 3 months into a 2-month project with 3 plan revisions, and 2 failed inspections. The 3rd inspection was done in December and failed again due to Coastal Roofing not following the plans. At this point my husband and I were tired of the back and forth and no shows. We reached out to Mike and discussed next steps, Mike advised he would call us the following day with a new plan and we never heard back from him, he abandoned the job. We incurred additional fees with the City of Plantation due to more plan revisions and having the engineer visit the site to see Mike's work in progress. Our roof extension was finally completed by another GC in February of 2021. We also had Mike paint our house and due to the poor prep work, less than 6 months after application the paint began to peel (see attached pictures). Our most recent issue is the seamless gutter that Mike talked us into installing on top of our screen enclosure. Turns out that was not the appropriate gutter to use because of the screen enclosure, super gutter is more appropriate and the standard. Since we are now in the rainy season, the seamless gutter has been failing. Julian, who installed the gutter wedged it so far up between the screen enclosure and under the drip edge that when the gutter is too full the water fills under the drip edge and leaks through the ceiling and fans on the patio. Not to mention they drilled the gutter into the brand-new drip edge that was installed. We emailed Mike about the issue, and he offered to send a technician out to adjust the gutter. We never heard back from Mike, nor did we see a technician. At this point, we had to remove the seamless gutter to mitigate any more damage and hired a screen guy to install a super gutter. We take great pride in our home and worked hard to get where we are, and to have a company come in and clearly not care or respect our home is disheartening. From the very first day Mike set the expectation that his crew would be onsite working and ever since that day there has been consistently poor communication and missed self-set expectations. I hope this doesn't happen to anyone else and I hope that Robin Enterprise/ Coastal Roofing does better for the next homeowner.
Beware of this company. They came to put up new gutters. They installed them into rotted fascia board (that needed to be replaced first) and made some holes in my roof. The owner claimed he was coming back to fix the damage at no cost to me but he has not returned a call, a text or an email for over two weeks now. My HOA now wants to charge me $1350.00 to do the repair work to the roof and then I will have to have the gutters put back up at my expense. Not a company that stands behind its work.
