Company Overview

Alongside roofing, we focus on custom restoration and revamping of both interior and exterior spaces. Established in 1996, we have been serving the Atlanta area. My name is Keith Roberts, the owner of Roberts Roofing for more than. Growing up in the 80s in Grant Park and adjacent neighborhoods, I would ride my bike past various job sites and construction areas. I would stop and watch, how workers could change something dilapidated into something stunning. In my teenage years, I began my journey in home restoration as a brick mason. The concept of transforming something common into something glorious with my own hands and creativity resonated with me. I established my roofing and restoration firm in my early 20s. I am always eager to collaborate with new clients, helping them in restoring their homes and tackling interesting projects.

Unfortunately, I have to change my review for Roberts Roofing (Keith Roberts). Originally, I had provided a 5 star review based on the initial service and what I thought was a quality new roof. I was wrong...
My roof is less than 2 years old and has now developed leaks in multiple places. At first was leaking skylights and that happened about a month after the new roof was installed. It took Keith and his crew about 5 visits to finally stop the leak and Keith kept insisting that it was my skylights causing the leak - in the end, it wasnt the skylights, but faulty installation/flashing.
Now, a year later and my roof is leaking at the chimney (verified by looking in the attic and seeing physical water coming in at the base of the chimney/flashing). I have been trying to contact Keith about this leak now for over eight (8) weeks (nearly 60 days). Each rain, my ceiling becomes more and more damaged (the texturing has now cracked and fallen in several places and I now have multiple water spots on my ceiling). Ive left Keith at least six voice mails and have sent no less than four emails documenting the leaks and attempts made at contact. No calls or emails are being returned.
I trusted Keith when selecting him and have documents as well as a verbal contract stating that he provides a 20-year warranty on workmanship and 30 years for materials. Apparently, that is all meaningless. Keith is a smooth talker and excellent salesman. He will be happy to tell you what you want to hear in order to win the job, but he will NOT stand behind his work or honor any warranty in the event you have problems after the work has been completed.
Now, after spending nearly $13,000 on a new roof less than 2-years ago, Im left to find another roofer to fix the leak(s) and repair the ceiling at a cost of over $1,000.
Beware when working with Keith Roberts!

This vendor was recommended by neighbors that utilized them years before. They were absolutely accurate in describing the workmanship and professionalism of Keith Roberts and his craftsmen. When emailed for an estimate Mr. Roberts responded immediately. He came to my home promptly as scheduled. He evaluated the storm damage and was willing to return after the insurance estimator did the evaluation. Once all paperwork was presented to me and payment made,Roberts Roofing began the work. The workers reported in a timely manner. All work was done by the first team. The cleaned as they completed their portion of the work. Upon their departure, there was no signs of property damage and all equipment and debris was gone. The next team had to await supplies which had to be ordered. Once materials were received the team arrived and began the work the next day they returned and completed all work they were assigned to do.
I am very impressed with Mr. Roberts and his craftsmen. I will gladly recommend his company to anyone needing his business specialties.

I contacted Roberts Roofing on April 10th via their website to schedule an appointment for estimate on gutters. The company replied back via email on April 11th. We agreed to do the estimate on April 12th. I had a change in my schedule that day and emailed the company to advise. The company stated they could come out without me being home. I emailed the company on April 13th to ask if someone had the chance to come out. No response. Today is April 19th and still no response.

I had a bit of an unfortunate experience with Roberts roofing. I had called for an estimate regarding a roof leak that we were experiencing. I was very surprised and thrilled when Keith was able to make it out to the house the same day. He never got on the roof, although it was wet that day so I understand, but he said that he had pegged the issue and would be able to have it fixed within a week. The explanation never quite made sense to me but I trusted that he knew what he was talking about. I followed up after a week when I hadn't heard back and was given a bit of a dismissive reply that it was wet that particular day so they couldn't do anything. I followed up again 2 weeks later when I still hadn't heard anything and didn't get a response until about a month later, but it was too late.

In the meantime, I got a quote from another roofer who had gotten onto the roof and found out that there was a bullet that had gone through our roof about halfway up, which was causing the water leak problem. Keith's recommended fix wouldn't have fixed this issue, unfortunately. I guess it was a blessing in disguise that we were pretty much forgotten because we were able to get the issue fixed.

Solid company, quality work at a very reasonable price. I felt the advice and service provided was honest. They started quickly and saw the project through to the end. They also came back out to inspect and help provide a solution on another project. This service was provided in Decatur. Thanks Guys!

Keith and his crew did an AMAZING job on reroofing our home!! From my intial contact with Keith he was super personable and professional. Never once did I feel like he left me 'out of the loop' on any of the process. Our job was an insurance claim and he helped walk me thru everything I needed to do to get it handled on that end. His crew was on time, professional and when they left it's like they were never here...prob cleaner than I left it for them to be honest. Five stars isn't enough for the Roberts Roofing Atlanta!!!

Keith Roberts and his team were a pleasure to work with. We needed a new metal roof and called several roofing companies and they gave us a many options and a reasonable quote. They came out immediately and our roof was finished on budget and ahead of schedule. It looks fantastic. Romero and his father were very detail oriented. Keith is very down to earth and easy to communicate with. There aren't many business owners who make it a point to respond to their customers needs/concerns as soon as they come up. Keith does this. I highly recommend Roberts Roofing.

The absolute worst experience I've ever had with a contractor! Keith Roberts talks about doing right by his workers and his clients. I saw no evidence of that. Keith Roberts/Roberts Roofing contracted with me to reside my house and build a front porch. I paid in full for a job that is still not complete! After $10,000, a huge mound of left-over wood, garbage and cans of beer left in my front yard for weeks, and then months and months of promises to complete the job, I finally gave up! I'm not sure if Keith Roberts treats all his clients like this or just people who pay him before the job is complete; or just single women; or just small jobs that he abandons for bigger jobs. I'll never know but I absolutely hope that by sharing this review it saves others from experiencing such a home improvement disaster. -Resident of East Lake

I had my gutters and downspouts done back in 2012, with gutter guards as well. They showed up and did the whole job in one day. No problem. The gutter guards are supposed to keep the leaves and junk out of the gutters. Not so much!
It's 2015 and I have two issues:
1) It looks like water can get under the gutter guards and into or onto the decking/sheathing and potentially rot it (aka water damage).
2) 2) My gutters are clogged and overflowing.
I emailed Robert's Roofing on 10/18/2015 about issue #1 with pictures included and got no response. On 10/26/15 I emailed them again about issue #2 and included a video of the overflowing gutters. I got a response that same day asking for my address. I provided it, that same day but RR never came to my home.
It's 11/08/15 and I had to get out my ladder and unclog the gutters myself.
The gutters are still full of debris (can't get it out) but I was able to stick a flexible stick down the downspout to at least get some of the water and debris flowing out of the gutters and into the downspouts.
Roberts Roofing hasn't done anything about either issue. So hire them at your own risk.
I spend $3,285 on the gutters, downspouts and gutter guards. I'm NOT happy!
Sorry, RR if you don't like this post, but I'm tired of being ignored!
