hired him to repair the roofs of two different buildings which he took my money for but the problems still exist. He claims he came out a few times to rectify the problem which he did not and the buildings were in the same situation. I ended up having to hire someone else to fix the original problems on both buildings and Robert stopped communicating and answering my calls and text messages within a few weeks of the matter. He never solved the original issue, he never offered a solution, and on top of that just started to ignore me and kept my money. By the way Yelpers his business is NOT closed he's just dodging the negative reviews.
Roger B.beware check his contractors licence at the state contractors board. he has several case's pending. he only carrie's $15,000 bond.his licence expires 8-20. i am posting this so the elderly don't get scamed. get someone reputable.
Kelly A.We signed a contract with Robert Noy in September to replace our roof with an Owens-Corning cool roof. He represented himself very well and the contract was fair, even after adding on a request of ours.
However, this is where it ends. He did not supervise his laborers, using nails that were too long, puncturing holes on our patio porch, leaving holes and broken ceiling joists, and all the eaves around the entire house. He sent out a laborer to repair a portion of the porch, but the job was substandard at best. He also claims that he needed to use those size nails, but never informed us, the consumer that it will puncture the eaves or porch. He left trash on our backyard patio roof. He has been uncooperative in regards to having our front porch returned to the condition it was in before he began his work. He wanted to come to our house to ""see what he could do,"" and "" to see things he didn't know about."" As the consumer, this did not give us any confidence he would return the porch to the pre-existing condition, and given his previous work ethics, we are very wary. We are contacting the Contractor's board and will take him to small claims to retrieve the money paid in full (under duress due to threat of a lien on our property) to repair our porch to pre-exisitng condtion. Consumer beware!
Cheryl T.I specifically wanted an Owens Corning Certified Roofer. I was referred Robert Noy Roofing by Owen's Corning. He explained everything, step by step on the whole process of a new roof. I live in the desert, so I needed the Duration Cool Roof. I was so happy with the information Robert Noy had about the products he was going to use. The final step...A vented ridge cap. Oh my goodness :) I haven't turned on my a/c since my new roof was installed. Any questions or concerns, he handled quickly.
Brake P.I hired this man and his company to repair the roofs on two different buildings. I approved the repairs that he recommended and also approved the price that he wanted no questions asked. The leaks never stopped not even a little and over a 2 1/2 months. He claims he did everything he could to solve the leaks but the tenants at the buildings that I lease out stated that he'd only come by a couple of times and looked at things. I've asked for help from him and asked for a refund, he ignores my calls and messages and kept my money. I have since hired another roofer and paid him to fix Roberts inadequate repairs. So know I have paid double.
Becky K.We got quotes from multiple companies. Robert was the only one who actually got his ass up on the roof to measure and give us an accurate quote. He didn't mansplain anything to us (something that unfortunately many others do. No - Robert was respectful, straightforward and no bullshit. His price was completely reasonable. His crew was professional and courteous and most were thorough and perfectionist. We wish we could rate higher. This man is honest, earnest, hard-working, and reliable. He's also a general contractor so we're looking forward to more projects together.
We had to have our roof replaced following a wind storm and Robert and crew did a very good job. My only complaint is that he was notoriously hard to get a hold of before the job, but once they got going, they were fast, efficient and did a fantastic job. Recommended!
