About a year ago, I called these roofers to determine if I had a leak and how much it would cost to repair. The leak was strange because the ceiling in my attic was not wet. There was some dripping water down the wall panel and this was happening for some time because the wood was rotted but dry too! I only noticed it when going in the attic for Xmas stuff.

Hartmann Roofers came and told me they were going to rip out all these tiles and all this stuff. Janet sent quote for $1200 estimate.

Now, something just didn't sit well with me. Why rip out tiles off my roof when my ceiling is DRY? So I called another roofer to verify what Hartman Roofer was saying.

Turns out it was not a roof leak. I had a crack in my window and it's been there a while and some water was creeping in just enough to wet my wall panel in my attic. Nothing to do with the roof. All I needed to do was seal that window and crack and maybe repair that panel in my attic but it's in my attic so whatever. It's fine. $12 Home Depot I fixed window myself. No more water dribbling.

I guess heartless Hartmann saw a woman and thought she doesn't know about this kind of stuff. BUT it just so happens I am actually quite handy and common sense told me how could there be a roof leak and all this roof rotted under my roof tiles when my ceiling is dry with no rot? The second honest roofer said the roof is not soft at all - perfectly fine and dry, and he was up there for quite some time trying to determine where this tiny leak was coming from.

Everything the second honest roofer said made complete sense. And as it made more and more sense, I realized Robert Hartmann's pants was on fire and his nose was growing because he had LIED!! I still have their rotten Pinocchio quote.

So ONE STAR and if I could leave less I would. No one likes a dishonest person in general. And frankly, it's unethical and bad business. Wow!

Side note: if you google Hartmann Roofing - there are a lot in the palm beach county area with 1 star with different addresses. Very suspicious. I don't know if it's related but seems quite suspicious. This WHOLE THING is VERY SUSPICIOUS.
