Robert and his crew did an amazing job. Attention to detail on everything he touched. He did a very extensive encapsulation job on a ceiling for me, and the end result looked unreal. It was way better than I had imagined it would turn out. The key was in the details. He did such a great job with making everything look smooth, flat and finished. It sounds like a small difference typing this out, but the that is the difference between Robert and some random construction co that uses low cost labor. He oversees his guys well and has the right processes and management in place to achieve these results. I don't think his craftsmanship could be beat so that is why this is a 5 star review.

He was also just great and easy to work with, kept me updated.

They took their time taping everything up, prepping the surfaces, sanding, and painting the final surface.

Also after they finished, him and crew did a good job cleaning everything up. Highly recommend him for your next project!

First; when you hire Robert Clark painting you don't just get Robert- you will likely get the expertise of the whole Clark family! We had Dad and multiple brothers contributing their knowledge and oversight to our projects and it was much appreciated. For those who value a family business with generations of history in the Los Angeles area, the Clarks are your guys!

We hired Robert and crew to do repaint/reglaze on a number of original hardwood windows which we had recently had repaired and rehung. The entire process was excellent; from initial consultation through cleanup and completion-- and he finished work was top notch. Their crew was professional and very attentive- everyone responded well to concerns and questions throughout the process. They took all the time needed to do a top quality job.

Like a few other reviewers: We liked the work so much we added a complete stucco repaint for the house exterior while they were here!

I will offer my only caveat; They were not the cheapest quote we received for the work. However, if you are bidding contractors to work on your home you know that price is only one factor-- you want to get the best work and best experience for your dollar. If you value attention, craftsmanship, knowledge and quality- these are def the guys to call!

I would recommend Robert for any external painting job, especially if it is challenging due to elevation (as is common in the hills of Los Angeles).

Robert and his crew were great to work with - through the quoting process (I had 4 contractors come to discuss and quote the work and Robert was very knowledgeable which was apparent in our early conversations).

During the job, the crew (and much of the Clark family) worked very quickly and seemed well coordinated. They painted my difficult-to-paint house (very tall, on a very sloped lot) and did a great job - everything looks great a few weeks on and I'll be keeping a close eye to see how it progresses over the years.

I don't have much more to add other than they will be my first call on my next exterior painting job.

The whole crew at Robert Clark were a dream to work with. They are a family run business which was a big plus for us. You really feel the extra care and attention given in every detail. They were extremely professional, friendly, responsible, hard working, detail oriented and did such an amazing job on our new home. We got new windows put into our very old house and the amount of stucco that had to be removed to accomplish this left a lot of prep work on (and in) our old walls to be done before the stucco repair and painting Robert had agreed to could even be done. The three day job that would have been easily handled in the six days between rainy spells suddenly would take five and the work team would be racing the clock to beat the forecast. Robert patiently and plainly walked us through everything that would need to be done (not knowing even then just what terrible shape some of our stucco was in) and their guys got right to work. They were amazing! Not only were they fast, they were precise, super-prepared for the curve-balls our house threw at them and they were consummate professionals. As the rainy-day deadline approached, they showed up earlier and with an extra guy in order to get it all done in time: the wall-building, the mortar, lathing, stucco, paint and, because the city required us to get wood windows that only came with primer on them, they painted those, too! The house would suffer no ill effects from the rain at all thanks to this team. They really took care of us and finished the day before the rain came! Impressive from start to finish. When Robert tells you not to skimp on the prep work, believe him. It makes all the difference. He knew what needed to be done, it was done right, turned out beautifully and our house honestly looks better than good- it looks brand new! Well done, Robert, to your whole team. We've already picked out the next projects we'll be in touch about.

We found Robert Clark on Yelp and knew little about him and his family company, other than the reviews posted here. From first contact to finished product, everything was fantastic. We have a 1920's Spanish in West Hollywood that was in urgent need of a paint job and some TLC. We met with a few companies, and knew this one was the right fit after our first meeting and quote. From the day they arrived, Robert, his family, and their crew were polite, on time, fastidious, professional, detailed, offered great advice, some good jokes, and made our house look like new again. They painted our house, fixed window trim, build a new door, hung lights and address numbers, without any surprises. They clearly take pride in their work, and treated our house as if it was their own. Truly, I can recommend them with full confidence!!!!

Cannot recommend these guys enough!

I have now hired them for 2 jobs. 1 painting the outside of my home. Which is a large and difficult job and involved them even doing some minor carpentry and extensive stucco repairs. Then another job painting windows and trim inside my home.

They did an absolutely outstanding job on both. This is a true family business and you will meet the dad and the seemingly endless number of brothers who work together, with passion, to make this business a success.

I have been remodeling my home the last 6 months and have worked with nearly a dozen different contractors on different jobs and they are hands down the easiest to work with. They do what they say they are going to do, on time, and have outstanding work ethic.

They also have always been willing to come back to fix anything I wasn't 100% happy with (and quick too!).

Their prices are also very competitive. I highly recommend them for any painting job.
