There are hundreds of testimonials of the numerous positive work and customer experiences from the work this company has done. We build about 60 roofs a month with a 4-6 week wait time after approval from your insurance company. This company is very good to its customers and has never left a roof unfinished (we would not longer have a license if this were the case!) They train experts who show up on time and complete fantastic quality work with great customer service!

The negative reviews you may see here and other places are from a time when each roofing company had a hard time finding materials and support. Every manufacturer of shingles was experiencing inventory issues stemming from storm damage across Florida and Texas - occurring simultaneously. These are unforeseen and difficult circumstances to navigate. The owner of the Jacksonville branch drove his vehicle around to work cites, across the state, and recruited teams of roofers! I repeat if the customer paid RMX the roof must be completed and passed inspection or we would not be business!!

RMX construction is a rip off company, read all Better Business Complaints and on-line reviews before signing with them. This company also works as Roofmax out of the same office with the same staff and rips off mostly the elderly.
I had to file a law suit - which is still in court today and although the registered agent admitted fault to almost all allegations I received now a collection notice from another law firm for a much higher amount payable to Roofmax. This company hires cheap labor crews (mostly Mexicans), uses different materials than agreed upon and delivers faulty work. My roof has code issues, rafters exposed to the weather and shingles nailed to rotten wood. I hired this company as a general contractor and the only thing that brings the law to my side is that I insisted on a contract (an estimate and a proposal). RMX abandoned the work site after I complained about the quality of the work and placed a fraudulent lien against my property for an amount that is greater than the actual contract value, they breached our contract, caused damage to the roof structure and electrical lines of my home, damaged my driveway and they left life electrical lines cut and exposed to the weather.
As mentioned this case is in court and justice will prevail.

If you have problems with this company start with a Better Business Complaint. File a law suit, you do not need to hire a lawyer, the court house has a law library and all forms are available. If you are not able to do so, hire a free legal service (they go by income). Do not let them get away with anything - it is your property!
Do not hire RMX, or Roofmax!

I wish I had read these reviews. Do not use this company! I have had a little of everything I have read happen to me. Took months to get the work started, they held my insurance money, failed inspection twice, and have left a pile of leftover roofing supplies in my front garden for three weeks!! I have called no less than 10 times for them to clean up their crap, but nothing. They have my money and now have left me in the cold. Satisfaction guaranteed my ass.

So we signed a contract then a month ago Then had one of your employees show up at my house last night and tell us that your company is NOT going to honor the contract we signed with your company and said it was under priced and should have been a 15k job.
This is so unprofessional and disheartening because we have been waiting for it to be scheduled.
We had my mom in hospital having to have a quadruple bypass, my daughter having a emergency c-section and we were literally harassed everyday with calls and texts and even showing up at our house 3x to sign a second page, so permit could be pulled. Then to show up last night after all the harassment to say your company isn't honoring the contract because your company made a mistake and underpriced it is insane and extremely unprofessional.
I had doubts using your company due to the horrible ratings and after speaking to Tim we decided to give your company a chance and now you pull this?!!!

A horrible company to work with. I have been working with them since November 2017 to get a new roof on my home. The roof was installed early July, however, the city inspector has been out TWICE and the roof has still not passed their inspection. RMX does NOT return their calls or text. They lie to you over and over again. I could write a 1000 word essay on all of the happenings. The long and short of it all is they lie, try to charge you more, promise all sorts of things and do Not deliver on any of it. Use them at your own peril.

They are the worst company I have ever dealt with. New roof has been a complete nightmare. First of all they dropped off a dumpster in the wrong area and blocked my car in. Dumpster was left there for 2 WEEKS. Work is not quality and you cannot EVER speak to anyone live. They have voicemail and will text telling you things will be addressed but they do not respond to anything and they do not care about their work or customer satisfaction. Tim the general manager is a total JOKE, he has know clue how to manage or effectively handle any situation. Business 101, take care of customers. If you have no customers you are not needed. They will be out of business when the roofing boom dies down. Run do not walk away from this company. You will be glad you did.

My experience with RMX has been nothing but pleasant. From the first phone call, to the last, RMX has truly delivered in customer service and hard work. A roof replacement is a process I had never gone through before, and RMX helped me through all my questions and concerns. I would highly recommend!

I must say that I have a total different opinion than the previous reviews. Yes, I gave a deposit, which i have done with other construction companies over the past forty years as a home owner.
From my first phone call with Brittany thru the end of the job I never ran into a problem.
I live in Palm Coast and they showed up promptly and installed a beautiful Architectual Rooftop at a very reasonable price.
I am very pleased and would recommend them to any of my neighbors. Thank You Guys....

As I posted on BBB in NE Jacksonville on 1/6/18: Awful, awful company. Needed new roof after Irma. Shoddy work, no communication with the customer and workers. Major lack of organization. Terrible at returning calls. Roofers damaged my gables, soffits, and eyebrows. Left major gaps so rodents could get in. Company sent repair crew to PATCH the damage. A neighbor, who works for a city builder, used colorful language to describe the repairs. He said I would definitely need new soffits. RMX compensated me financially for the repairs as well as the dryer vent company who had to come out and remove the new dryer vent screen that they left in which violated Florida code and created a blockage. Found lots of empty Bud Light beer bottles in dumpster. Can't help but wonder if this had anything to do with this fiasco. But wait, it gets better. I cannot have my county final inspection because, allegedly, the roofers recently quit and took the photos in progress taken during the work. RMX said they could not get them back. Now, a roofer and county inspector have to come out and remove a portion of the roof in order to see if it passes final inspection. Please, stay away from this company.

My rating for this company hasn't changed. They're still pretty horrible. However I did get my refund and the check actually cleared! I learned a valuable lesson here and that lesson is not to hire a roofing company that asks for a deposit. That's a clear indication they're cash poor and need your deposit to keep their lights on. And you can pretty much count on drama from them.
