After contracting them for the some repairs it took RKG about a year to do repairs on about a 500 square foot area. They were unresponsive until it came time to pay at which time they charged higher than initially quoted without any reasoning or justification provided. (Only by about ~100$ but still). The work done required constant double checks and rework as different items were not completed to satisfaction. In the end the work was good but based on time, the need for oversight, cost and unresponsive communications I would have a hard time recommending them to a friend. As I said final product is good but comes with a lot of headache.

Signed a contract with RKG and when they sent me a revised invoice it was way higher than the agreed upon amount. All because they thought that i should have gotten more money from my insurance. When i called and questioned the amount, they argued with me and threatened to send the bill straight to collections. So in my experience they are not to be trusted and i would not recommend RKG Roofing and Construction.

RKG did a great job on my home! We had water damage during the holidays and RKG was there to help us get our home back in shape and in a timely manner. We had drywall, baseboard, paint and carpet that all needed to be addressed. RKG did an excellent job coordinating all the pieces and putting our home back together. They did such a great job we used them for other home improvement projects too. :) Definitely worth reaching out to them!

Josh Hansen of RKG was so easy to work with, made excellent recommendations, spent quite a bit of time explaining the choices in materials, listening to my concerns and had a beautiful new roof on my house in record time. And the garden around the house was spotless afterwards. prev roofers have left nails, debris and garbage but not this team. Will use again if need be and highly recommend!!!

Neighbor next door called and said he was having someone come out to look at the roofs since we had some small hail recently. He asked me if I was interested in having them take a look at mine. I said sure.

I did receive a text from them asking if I wanted pictures of the damage. I declined.

She then asked me to give her my insurance agents number so she could take care of it for me. Sorry, Thats not the way this works.

I asked about an estimate and the lady stated they just go by what my insurance company provided. Sorry, but thats not the way this works I told her I would need an estimate of the charges from her.

I guess, since I didn't go ahead and let her have the insurance company information she wasn't interested. I haven't heard from her since. But, I would never ever give them access to contact my insurance for any reason prior to being given an estimate. Im sure you would like to just go by with the insurance estimate is.

I have had to have work done before and I have never been asked to ""LET THEM HANDLE"" all the paperwork.

Sounded a little bit of a scam to me.

After a severe hail storm, one of our neighbors recommended RKG Roofing to us. Colby Boggs, our RKG Rep, was amazing. He was available, responsive and he oversaw the entire process from start to finish. I can't recommend Colby and the RKG team enough. Our roof looks great!

Showed up in my neighborhood without permits (required in my city) soliciting repairs for a very minor storm with hail last night. Polic promptly removed them for being unpermitted. Had to forcefully tell the guy to leave my home after telling them I wasn't interested.

I've worked with RKG on a bunch of projects over the years and they always show up and get the job done right the first time. It's always a pleasure as they focus on every detail. My grandpa always said The devils in the details! You can tell all the small details add up. They also work hard to meet their deadlines. Quality you can see!

I worked with RKG to reroof my home and the work was completed yesterday. I would give them more stars if that was an option. My apprehension was at a high level having heard all the horror stories of less than reputable contractors. RKG made this project one of the easiest and stress-free since I bought my home 15 years ago. I worked with Stephen Curry who was the ultimate professional all the way from my first meeting with him. He walked me through the entire process and was present all the way through to completion. He answered any text I sent within minutes and when I mentioned something it just had to be said once, not every time I talked to him again. He was proactive on any issue I brought up in a most pleasant and respectful way. He worked hard to make sure he could work with my insurance to limit my cost and there was never a ""surprise"" charge, every cost he quoted was exactly as on the contract.

The roof looks fantastic and the RKG crew was considerate and worked all day with completion at end-of-day. The were here exactly when Stephen said they would be here and from the start to clean-up it was done with the utmost care and consideration of my property. Stephen was here toward the end of the job to make sure everything was done correctly. Thanks so much RKG! Stephen you're a ""rock star"" in my book!
