We hired Richard to redo our roof about 1.5 years ago. Just yesterday, after a week of constant rain, we found a leak so we called Richard to see if could come out. He responded almost immediately. Turns out our skylight was the culprit so Richard sealed the hole. We are very impressed with his customer service, especially since the traffic today with all the rain was horrendous. Definitely recommend his company for your roofing needs.

I called RK Roofing because they're ratings we're all so positive. His rates and contracting terms are fair and his work is outstanding. Some of Richard's crew members have been with him for seventeen years. Their efficiency and professionalism showed. Richard has done two roofs for me this year and I'd use him again, without question.

The roofs have been on for about 8 months and have weathered a couple storms now with no leaks.

They're busy and most likely booked several months out but they're worth the wait.

He was reliable, charged less than ten percent up front and did not take a penny from me until the work was done and the clean up made my house and landscape look cleaner than before. He found many mistakes on my roof from prior distasterous roofer and charged very little to fix them and replace and add materials. I won't let anyone else near my roof ever again. I love the crew, they were honest, efficient and professional.
PS: His estimate was extremely reasonable, and Richard was the roofer who gave me the best deal on and made me feel the most confident. He stuck to his price and I ended up paying less than I even expected with wood and materials replacement fixes. BTW, I interviewed and researched 10 other roofers, only 4 of whom I trusted but charged more than Richard, and 6 of the 10 were too slippery to trust. I just saved you a lot of time. You are welcome! :)

Richard and his crew replaced our roof and gutters about two months ago. He was able to fit us into his busy schedule before the rainy season; his crew worked quickly and cleaned up the debris around the property when they were finished. The roof and gutters look excellent and have been a huge upgrade! With the first rain this season, we noticed an area above the back deck which was leaking down the back side of the house. Richard came over on a Sunday to inspect it and offered to patch the spot EVEN THOUGH it was NOT a part of the original work that was done. I would highly recommend RK Roofing for their quality work, fair pricing, and attentiveness!

As so many others have already pointed out, Richard is so responsive to his customers. In my case, he effectively dropped everything to squeeze me into his busy schedule when I was pressed for a new roof and having to meet a schedule for solar installation that had already been set.

My roof was over 25 years old and although I had talked to Richard about his installing a new one but he had been so busy at the time that he suggested I wait a few months. Since I was in the early stages of researching solar panels, this was not a problem. I was in no rush to install panels either, only to have to go through the process of having to remove them again to reroof. Because of various unavoidable delays with the solar company, it was not until well into the fall of 2017 that a date had been set for installation that December. I contacted Richard and told him my problem. He said he could see what he could do. Within a day or two, he was back in touch, saying he could come the following Friday and part of Saturday. The rest is history.

Importantly, too, the roof drew the attention of a well-known architect neighbor who remarked on the fine workmanship and asked who the company was. In short, I highly recommend RK Roofing for its customer care, responsiveness, and excellent work.

Richard and his crew are the real deal. We have an old house with a steeply pitched roof and they worked hard five days to remove two old roofs, replace the dry rot and add a new roof. I felt that we received excellent value for high quality work.

I took 3 bids for a roof replacement. I got the highest bid here, but he identified all the problems that the other contractors identified plus recommended what I would call a proper solution with a warranty. About 5 years later I had a leak and he came out and fixed it. No regrets.

We recently bought a house that had the original shake roof, as well as one to two composite roofs over it. We got a bunch of quotes and Richard's was competitive, but I liked his energy and the fact that his guys got on the roof and didn't just gaze at it from the driveway. He answered the 120000 questions we had and we hired him and his crew.

They showed up on time - or even a little early - every day. Richard was on site most of the time and his guys worked tirelessly and had my old roof torn off in a day and a half (so, so, so, so dirty), and the new one on in two more. This was in late summer/early fall of last year (2016).

It's now February 2017 and we know it's been raining like crazy this winter. We have had no leaks, no problems, no issues. I was worried - I'm a worrier - and I compulsively checked the ceilings for signs of water for a few weeks but there's been nothing.

I wouldn't hesitate to call Richard + team again if we ever need anything, and I would 100% recommend him to anyone.
