Ordered Custom Wood Porch Brackets from us several months ago.
We did our part and made them, and after several messages has still not paid for them. He claims the customer never paid him.

We tried to be helpful by taking care of his request without a deposit. We now see that was a mistake.

Finally paid this morning after 4 months.

Beware! John Robertson took money for a roofing job and did not return. He had a crew strip off the shingles and purchased 3/5 of the shingles required for the job. My house was left with no shingles for 5 weeks. I had to hire another roofing contractor and I had to buy another 20 squares of shingles to get my house roofed. He was paid $4500 on a $9500 job. I had to return the $5000 Cashier's Check that was waiting on him when he finished the job. I lived up to my end of the contract.

The only reason 3/5 of the shingles were on the job site is because I had to haul them from Dublin, Georgia to Irwinton in two loads. He also took $500 for custom porch brackets that were to be delivered and installed. I was told 3 times he was enroute to get them. He never delivered or showed up. I contracted with him to install gutters on the same house and he left. I had to pay the gutter contractor.

I head from him in a text 32 days ago that he was on Spring Break with his family. He hasn't contacted me since.

He is a roofing contractor with no trucks. His carpenters drive around in a sedan. From what I've seen and learned, he sucks in local help to haul products or debris and may not pay them.

I've filed criminal charges against him and am suing him in court.
