I found RJ Bean Roofing on Yelp and from the minute I contacted him he was professional and IN CONTACT! I've found that a lot of contractors in other areas aren't great at the communication aspect of the job but RJ is not only great at the roofing but also at communicating every step of the way. He takes and sends pictures as well as invoices efficiently and keeps me posted! He did a lot of roof repair and sealing during this year's rainy March and a lot of work dates had to be postponed and rescheduled due to weather and he was VERY communicative about it.

We did roof leak repairs, roof replacement, roof re-seal and gutter repair and installation - All the repairs have been 100% successful and NO MORE LEAKS! We've been extremely impressed and pleased by the quality of work as well as the professionalism, honesty and the pricing on the work.

RJ cares about his customers and give a reasonable price for high quality work! He's reliable, trustworthy and communicates well - RJ is our roof guy - from now on!

I found R.J. Bean to be an honest, straightforward guy who worked hard to stay within the timeline he created for replacing my roof. I was impressed by his thoroughness. He gave me all the information I needed to make the decisions that would make me a happy and satisfied customer. You may find a roofer who is cheaper, but you will pay the price later on down the line. You will have a cheaper roof not a better roof. He fixed all the problem areas and even went beyond what was expected. What really set him apart from other contractors who have worked on my house was his willingness to keep me informed of his schedule. If he was going to be delayed, he let me know. He called to tell me the times he would arrive and leave. I would not hesitate to call him again if I or anyone I know needed work on a roof.

During this past winter, my roof had a leak. Called RJ Bean Roofing because
some of their great reviews. He came by that same day during the rain
and tracked the cause of my roof leak. Fixed it right away. He then did
a complete roof inspection and told me some other potential issues I might
have in the future, but does not need to be fixed right now. He is a great guy,
honest and does a great job. I did have him come back a few weeks later
when the weather was sunny and dry, and had him fix some of the other
issues that he mentioned. He took before pictures of the potential issues
before he started the job, and then took after pictures when he completed
the job. Great guy and I will always use RJ Bean for all my roof repairs.

Called RJ regarding roofing issues. At first when he answered the call he was so polite and nice. He stressed to me he has 30 + yrs of experience on roofing. He said for coming over he would charge 125, but on his website estimates were free. On the phone he said he does all sort of roof be it a tile or a composition but when he arrived, he was whining about my tile roof like a million times. ""ohh i hate tiles, its not good, it doesn't last long etc, etc... that really annoyed me. If he doesn't like tile, why cant he be upfront over the phone?
i don't mind paying him some extra bucks but his service was very poor. Rj was very messy and he doesn't clean up after he finishes his job. He got on to my roof and came down leaving behind some junk on it. What the heck? He spent less than 20 mins and ripped my money. i paid him more than what he said he would charge for an hour. Few days later our roof problem were not solved and when i called him again he gave me tons of excuses saying he is busy, it's raining, etc, etc....He also mentioned he doesn't like to come back and fourth! To me that was very rude.
Overall that is not the kind of attitude that i expected. You can charge you client a bit more but bottom line you should do a good job. I'm sorry to say this but i want others to be aware and not wasting their money on this kind of roofers.

I found RJ Bean roofing on Yelp. I called and he came out quickly, inspected my roof, told me what needed to be repaired and how much it would cost. He came back with supplies the next day and completed the repairs I needed to keep my roof in good shape for the winter. I was pleased that he was so easy to talk to and explained the repairs in a simple way and got the job done quickly. I feel good that my roof is repaired and water tight now.

Horrible Experience~do not use this roofing company unless you want RJ to promise day after day he's show up and constantly a no show. Took 2 weeks to complete the roof...promised 3 days. He informed us that he actually started other roofing jobs before completing ours. He charged us $2,200 more than he quoted. RJ was really nice and professional in the beginning than very rude and unreachable before the job was complete. RJ demanded his money before he even completed the job. This roof was scheduled to be started and completed well before Thanksgiving. With all the no shows our guests from out of town that was visiting for 8 days during Holidays had the pleasure of listening to banging hammers, saws, dust, messy yards. Instead of enjoying the Holidays visiting. We had to stay home on days RJ was going to come by and work on the roof only to have a no show. This roofer is not worth the hassle...unreliable...not professional.
