They put a new roof on my house, including tear-off and new plywood in some areas, in 3 days. Start to finish. I couldn't believe it. It was not a simple roof either. 2500 sq. ft. 2 story house. Very pleasant to deal with and the price was good. Highly recommended.

Long long story but suffice it to say their work on our new roof was OK but after waiting forever to have work done on a deck issue they were also going to address the work was unacceptable and we had to pay someone else to have it redone correctly. To their credit they did not charge us for it but we wasted many months waiting for them to finish up. Very bad communication. I think this was an unusual situation however. If you are only having your roof done and nothing extra they would be OK.

We received a quote for $29,000.00. They only gave us a price on what they thought was what we needed for our new roof. They quoted their price on a Cool Roof and removal of the existing roof, among other additional construction needed. We were told by other professionals that a new roof could be installed without removal of the existing roofing. We told them we don't need a Cool Roof. I requested that we we discuss this because the quoted price was beyond our budget. We haven't heard back as of yet,but that was weeks ago. So, our point is, if you want them to do your roof, you'll need to accept their price and not question otherwise. Good luck.

Doing business with Rivas Roofing was an absolute pleasure from beginning to end. I chose Rivas Roofing for three reasons, it is a family owned business, they have a clear and informative website and Felipe's knowledge of the business when he came over for the estimate.

Due to the terrible rains this year I did have to wait a little while to get on their schedule, but that was very understandable and well worth the wait.

The price was competitive, the contract clear and fair, the project ran exactly the length of time Felipe said it would. The crew was one of the hardest working group of men that I have seen which reflects back to the leadership of the company. They did a great job of cleaning up at the end of everyday and where respectful of our neighbors. I did have the pleasure of meeting Felipe Sr., he should be very proud of the company he started and that his son is continuing. Thanks again.

I received what I thought was a fair estimate to repair my roof, so I hired them. Initially I asked about the repair process and made some requests. This seemed to irritate Felipe Jr. I agree with other reviewers, who stated how difficult it was to get a call returned. At one point, I thought they were avoiding me via caller ID, so I called from a different number and sure enough they answered right away! When the crew came out to do the work, I respectfully observed them. When Felipe Jr came over to collect the check, he told me that the man doing the repair was furious with me for watching him work. He then came at me by saying, ""Are you a roofer?!"" I was shocked at his tone of voice and anger but tried to stay calm. I said I meant no disrespect, I just wanted to be an informed consumer. As for the quality of their work, I'm not really sure.

I called them after the torrential LA rains revealed leaks in my ancient, badly patched roof, it took a few weeks for them to come out and give an estimate. I had 3 estimates done and they came in at the middle, Felipe was very professional and I'm glad we went with Rivas roofing. The Rivas roofing crew came out and replaced the roof of my home in Los Angeles, including removing 5 or more layers of old shingles and laying down new plywood and bringing everything up to code. Their crew was efficient and dedicated and did a great job, finishing a few days ahead of schedule. There was an issue with LADBS permitting due to a lazy inspector but Rivas roofing were helpful in getting it resolved promptly.

These guys are awesome. I've had several roofs replaced by them and it's always quick, clean and problem free.
Recently they replaced the roof on my garage. The weather predicted possible rain in the afternoon. They came in with enough crew to strip the roof, add a dormer vent, replace the flashing and roofing and haul everything away. Not even a little dust got in the pool.
At 4:00 I sat there and watched the rain pour down on my new roof.
The next day my wife sent me a text to see if the roofers were coming today. It was so fast and so neat that she didn't even think to look up and notice that it was already done!

I had some damage to the flat portion on my roof. I'd known that the previous work was faulty and I'd have to put some work into it soon. Sure enough recent winds pushed the due date up and I found Rivas Roofing, first on the Nextdoor app, and then on Yelp.

Felipe came out for the estimate which was quick and painless. He gave me a quote on the portion of the roof I requested, as well as the entire flat to avoid patch work.

Turns out Rivas Roofing had also done my next door neighbor's roof a few months earlier. I checked-in with my neighbor on his experience and he gave a positive review.

The work only took a day, and the cleanup was great, spotless.

Absolutely no complaints. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them. Professional and efficient.
