Extremely unprofessional. They made promises that weren't kept and pretended they were going to do things that they didnt. Then they disappeared without explanation. They wasted a lot of my time. Run quickly away and try a different roofing company before you are sorry too.

When considering roofing companies it was a really tough decision. Since it's such a necessity and people only post when there are problems, most reviews were negative. Ultimately I was referred to Ridout Roofing via word of mouth from multiple contractors I know and trust. I felt compelled to provide Steve Ridout and his company a 5 star endorsement and share our experience. Steve personally took time to educate me on the positives and negatives of the options from type of gutters to facia and eve exposure to comp versus metal versus wood shake and shingle roofs. Your architect and designer might have a certain vision but function, warranty and budget are things they sometimes overlook. Ridout really helped me understand my options and the associated costs. Their installers were professional even bringing their own bathroom to the job site. They left the site site cleaner than when they arrived. My wife and I love the look and function of our roof. We'd couldn't be happier.

Fantastic! More rain!! After laying out enough buckets to fill the garage, it felt like it was time to replace the roof. I called Ridout Roofing on a Tuesday and they were out at my house the very next day. They were helpful, efficient and professional. Roof looks great and there hasn't been any issues. Steve And his team blew me away! We have a rental property in the east bay and we had been putting off replacing our roof for quite sometime Bc of the thought of headaches that seem to accompany most construction related projects and sometime financial stress as well..... To our very pleasant surprise, we hired Steve and within the month, from consult to finished roof we were done. Unheard of, amazing, top notch service, products, paperwork, timeline, and our devoted renters said it was painless which we were dreading would have been just the opposite for them!

Never again . They would not take acknowledgement of their worker short cut job that I found out 5 years later . Now they are using 5 year limitation warranty clause . On one came out to look at the problem . No star.

Worst customer service experience ever. Property damage, incomplete work and cleanup. Zero on the ability to communicate professionally. If you want to feel like someone your paying over 25,000 dollars is doing you a favor hire them.

Emailed Ridout Roofings request for estimate... received response of available date and time, confirmed date and time, and here I sit, time off from work and no estimator. Wait additional 45 minutes, call to check status to find there is no estimate scheduled for me. I suppose I should be glad I've only lost some time to find out this is not really a company I want to do business with.

Very pleasantly surprised. Ridout was great! We did our research and got proposals from a number of roofing companies. We picked Ridout because of the value for the money and the professionalism of the company. So we were ready for Ridout to do a good job. But we were still surprised by how well the whole process went and how great the roof and gutters came out. The office people were very attentive and helpful. The roof crew and gutter crew were very professional, courteous, and quick. Ridout gets my strongest recommendation!

I have replaced my roof in 2005 in 2008 i have water leaked it took 5 days to come to my house . Now i discovered they did not do correctly I told the man who came to my house plat part area are having problem all he did was just patched and left . Lady name Mechelle is very rude . I was there on March 17 i need to have someone to look at the problem today is march 24 . No one can stop by ?

Ridout installed my roof at a very fair price some years ago. When it sprung a leak during recent heavy rains, they were out very quickly to repair, despite being swamped with service calls. I really appreciate their fast response!
