Ridgeline reroofed my house 10 years ago and did an excellent job. I have since had zero issues with it and the composition shingles seem to be holding up well. I recently contacted them about replacing a dry-rotted corbel timber at the front of the house. After some initial miscommunication which delayed the work, they came out yesterday and completed the job in less than a day. Thank you Sam and crew. I will continue to recommend Ridgeline to people in need.

They have been here twice and can't seem to find the leak. Each time they say they will be here and don't show up or call to reschedule. I call them numerous times and no return phone calls. Meanwhile it's raining and the roof is still leaking :-(

Ridge line gave us an estimate for roofing repair when we were in escrow. We arranged for them to come and do the repair following escrow. They never showed on the date we had arranged then never returned our multiple phone calls. They are not recommended.

Had this company come out to give me an estimate on two different homes on 8/31/16. First house has a small leak. Was impressed how quickly the estimator found the cause of the leak. Asked him to check the rest of the roof and he found a couple small items and also mentioned that one skylight needed replacement. He gave me two skylight options.

Went to the second house & he checked it and found nothing wrong with it. I thanked him for his time and told him I looked forward to getting the estimate so I could resolve any roof issues.

After one week, no estimate. I called him 3 or 4 times and left a message with NO response from him. Called and spoke with the owner of the company and she assured me I would get an estimate. No estimate. Called her another time. She apologized to me and promised I would get an estimate. Four weeks later; no estimate!

Why waste my time if you are not going to follow-up? Really counter-productive business practices in so many ways.

Maybe they are knowledgeable about roofs; but they haven't a clue on good business practices.

We needed a new roof from the plywood up, and new gutters too. Ridgeline Roofing did a great job for us last fall. Peggy and Sam, the owners, were easy to work with, and are nice people too. Highly recommended.

Completely satisfied with the Service and pricing from Rigdeline Roofing. They came out to inspect my snaking of my own drains at no charge and then came back when my ""fix"" didn't fix the leak. They were quick, professional and efficient. They charged me exactly what they quoted with no surprises. So nice to work with. I will use them again when the whole roof needs replaced as well as for sky lights.

Other roofing companies tried to price gouge me - Ridgeline was more than fair!

Needed new gutters, since ours were 45 years old. Not only did they do a fantastic job with the gutters but noticed a problem with my roof which could have cost me dearly this winter.

The crew showed up as scheduled, did the job and cleaned up after themselves. I will certainly use them when I need a new roof in the future.

I write about this because two other companies which I had requested bids never followed-up, as promised. If they can't get you a bid before the job how would you ever get them back after the job if there was a problem.

I waited to write a review until after several heavy storms and the drains/roof is working as it should, outstanding.

Interesting to read the recent reviews, as my wife and I had a completely opposite experience in terms of customer service and communication. Ridgeline is only receiving one star because I had to provide one for feedback.
I anticipated this estimate because the referral came from a respected friend and local contractor, who had used them numerous times. I should have gotten the clue when Sam missed our first appointment and stated that I had ""gotten a call to reschedule"". (didn't happen).
Anyhow, the real oddity happened when he did arrive a few days later. As the other reviews state he was cordial, did get on the roof and made numerous notes and asked questions etc. We talked about my criteria for the estimate (which was provided in a clear, written manner) I was assured the estimate would be to me about 4 days later. Well....... Three weeks later, with numerous calls to Peggy, the congenial office manager, we got nothing but blatant lies and no explanation or estimate. One time she even had the audacity to say Sam was across the room and gave here a hand gesture that he was finalizing the estimate and that it woudl be out soon. (I can only imagine the ""hand gesture"" he was giving) I am dumfounded as to why he even wasted his time (and mine again) to come out and go through the steps of reviewing the project?
All of this is one hundred percent completely UN-professional garbage. They must think that customers time is not very important. I am more inclined to interpret that they think customers that are well-informed and know what they want are simply a hassle (contractor knows best eh?) Even if that is true this company should have the professionalism to simply inform the customer that it isn't the right fit.
I wonder if Ownership has any knowledge of the pick and choose method of estimating. Anyhow, my hard earned money will go to someone who cares (reminder Ridgeline that there are numerous roofing companies in the area), and my strong advice to avoid this company, with complete lack of professionalism, will go to anyone looking to get a new roof.

Our nine year old roof was in generally good shape, but there were a few areas of dry rot in the chimney siding, covered porch planking and a leak below a window, related to improper flashing installation. The original installer is no longer in business. Over the next few months I learned how difficult it is to find a roofer interested in repair rather than total replacement; several declined outright or charged the price of a complete replacement, and two agreed after an estimate bit then wouldn't respond to calls. Ridgeline was an entirely different experience. Sam provided a thorough inspection and explained in detail about what the repair would involve, and came up with a reasonable bid. He was friendly, knowledgeable, professional and a good communicator. The work was done on time, and involved some carpentry/siding replacement as well as more typical roofing/flashing repair, and installation of a waterproof membrane on a flat area below a window. The crew did a great job, we're very happy with the results, and feel ready for the upcoming el niño.
Thanks to Sam and his great office coordinator Peggy. Ridgeline is highly recommended.

I have used Ridgeline Roofing for my personal residence, a commercial building that I manage, and for new gutters on a rental.
I had Ridgeline install a comp roof on my residence a few years ago. They were on time, professional, cleaned up each day, and finished ahead of schedule. They did a fabulous job!
I was so impressed with their work on my home, that I recommended using their services for a commercial building that I manage that was in need of a new roof. We looked at foam roofs and an IB thermal blanket roof system and decided to go with the IB thermal roof. This was a big job (over 16,000 sq. ft) which included replacing skylights, and dry rot from the old roof. The entire staff and crew were a joy to work with and did a wonderful job. The owner even sent ""Thank You"" notes to each of the owners in the building after completion.
This is a great company and I highly recommend their services. It's the ONLY roofing company I will ever use.
