Get another bid. These people charged me $10,665 for a 989 sq ft re-roof. They had me in a jam because it took them 2.5 months to execute the roof repair on my rental. Meanwhile my renter was having recurrent leakage into her furnace and couldn't turn on her heat. I didn't want to risk losing an excellent renter and moved forward with these folks because they performed an emergency tarping of the leak. They said they would repair one month after the emergency tarping but they didn't show up; no show, no call, no apology.

I felt like jumping ship to a different roofer, but they had already tarped for me and come to the rental twice for that purpose. Finally, 2.5 months after the initial leak, they came out to the house and told me the repair would cost $2100, but that there were significant other problems with the entire roof (true). They said I should redo it (although they didn't give me a price at the time). I should never have agreed to have it done until they had given me a bid beforehand. They knew they had me by the ""short hairs"" and ended up overcharging me. Does anyone charge $10/square foot to re-roof? The pitch of the roof was low (I stood on it many times) and access to the house was easy. Degree of difficulty was low, so no, there was no reason to charge more beyond plain greed.

Good thing for me that my insurance paid the bill, or I would be livid.

However, I would NEVER use these people again. You shouldn't either.

Very responsive to my questions, concerns and suggestions.
Focused on providing a high quality job that will meet their long term warranty. Friendly and respectful work crew. Thorough cleanup daily. Ridgeline Roofing seems to me an honest, local company that wants to develop a long term referral network, not just finish jobs quickly. I had a white PVC membrane roof installed and my home was immediately 3 or 4 degrees cooler. I may not need to run the air conditioner any more.

Was referred to Ridgeline Roofing by a friend whose house they roofed. Gabe called me and came out and surveyed my house. Sam, his assistant called and informed me they would come, take care of everything and gave me an excellent quote. They showed up as promised, Their rates were very competitive, and their special help to me was much appreciated.  The roofs are both beautiful, my homes were left spotless and their workmen, were polite and very meticulous. Roofs were ripped off along with old solar panels and satellite dishes, shingles replaced, and they were done in one day! I will certainly recommend this company to my friends.

I recently had Ridgeline Roofing install a metal roof on my cabin in Guerneville. After getting an estimate from another company that seemed a little high I called Sam and Gabe and the estimate from them was really reasonable.
The install went great and they informed me that my skylight I had existing was for a flat roof not a pitched. Sam said he had one in his shop and gave it to me no charge. The installers Santos and Rafael were completely awesome.

They presented us with a very detailed, professionally written quote, installed our new roof and did an exception job cleaning up all the debris and nails. Just awful customer service. Sam came round on August 28th and promised a quote by the end of the week. Several e-mails and phone calls later and still no quote despite several promises for a quote ""by the end of the week"".
Don't waste your time with them.
Northbay Roofing & Gutter came round on 22 October, quoted by 28th and scheduled us for November 6th.

My sister needed a new roof quick! Not only was Ridgeline the only company out of 7 to actually provide a quote but they did a great job! Actually Duvall Roofing said to call Ridgeline because they were booked up for year. One other company did a ""drive by"" quote but that was it. My sister really, really liked the crew and is very happy with the work done. Peggy is phenomenal! We were under the gun for getting it done and Peggy was able to work magic moving the schedule up to meet the deadline. Unfortunately there was extra work needed but we still met the drop dead date. Compounding matters was the fact that I live a couple hours away and had to transfer funds to pay for the new roof. Ridgeline was very accommodating, allowing for a few days payment delay. Don't hesitate to give Ridgeline a call if you need a new roof.
