When I contacted this company regarding some significant roof damage we had, Ricky came out the same day to check out my roof. He went above and beyond to perform an extremely thorough roof inspection, and showed me detailed pictures regarding all of the problem areas. He provided a very reasonable and easy to understand cost breakdown of each area of concern, and explained different options for resolutions. After finalizing a plan, he and his team returned on the agreed upon date. They were prompt, very professional and considerate. They answered any questions we had about the process. He and his crew were very careful to take our safety into consideration as well during the construction and repairs. Ricky and his crew provided very skilled workmanship, and we were extremely pleased with the level of detail and depth of the quality repairs. Upon completion of all the repairs, they did a superb job of cleaning up all debris. Overall, I would say Ricky and his crew were amazing and truly turned a harrowing roofing scare into a manageable and pleasant experience. I highly recommend them!

Ricky himself came out to check on possible roof damage that resulted in a water mark on my bathroom ceiling. He thoroughly checked the area in question, then went up to the attic to check further as to where the water may have come from. After that, he went up on the roof to check there as well and did not find any flaws or compromise with the roofing shingles. Did he tell me that my roof needed to be replaced? No. He said that my roof looked in quite good shape and that it will likely hold up for another 5 years or so. Honest contractor. A rare finding these days. I would recommend him to anyone in need of a roof evaluation or roofing work!

Very prompt and courteous. He and his helper did a great job in cleaning our gutters. He did a great job in cleaning up afterward. I would recommend him and his crew for your roofing jobs. This is the 3rd time we have used Ricky's Roofing and he has done a great job every time.

I must say that Ricky and his crew are a true blessing..... I was referred to him by a neighbor to do some chimney work. I called and work was completed the same day! I will definitely be using them again.

I will attempt to communicate all the reasons I am so satisfied with my recent roof replacement by Ricky's Roofing. Total job only took two days. Everything was finished on day one so that the slight rain chance was not any issue. Everything was cleaned up on day one as well as at completion. The workmanship is superb down to the last detail.

I obtained three bids. Ricky sent me his bid by email and it was the least flashy of the three. I say that because you deal with Ricky himself, the owner, not a sales person (who may be commissioned). This is a small business. No Yelp reviews, until mine. But Ricky was highly recommended by my gutter guy (more on that later). So I'm going to briefly list what I experienced.

We initially selected a GAF Timberline high definition (HD) with color of ""Barkwood"". I cut the sample for community ACC approval from the manufacturer's sample package. Ricky said he would bring over several shingles to place on the roof so we could see it on our house in our light. That was pivotal because the samples were just too much of a color contrast. (I had thought ""high definition"" referred to the texture of the architectural shingle. Well it is really more about the color contrast.) So Ricky say's ""I think you might prefer the ""natural shadow"" which is the same shingle with less color contrast. So he brought those samples and we selected them. My wife and I also spent a Saturday riding around Roswell viewing houses that were ""Barkwood Natural Shadow"" per the GAF website but one sure did not look like ""Barkwood Natural Shadow"". Neither of the other roof bidders suggested that we look at more than the manufacturer's sample chip. That would have been a huge, huge mistake. If you get nothing else from this review, this concept will be worth it!!

Ricky is easy to work with and will be on your roof supervising his crew. He was on my roof at least half the time and made sure some issues like the most complex roof valley was properly flashed and reroofed. Every time I called him before contracting with him, I think he was on a roof! (I could hear the work going on.) This helped me decide that he was a for real roofer not a smooth-talking sales person.

Ricky will tell you if what you want to do is not a good idea. For example GAF has a new ridge vent that allows adding more vent area on a hip roof. For 33 years I have had a 12 foot long hip vent that was totally inadequate to vent the attic. I've used a power fan and wanted to go totally with the passive soffit and ridge vents (not electric powered vents). GAF says cut a 1"" slot in the deck along the ridge line and put their new, lower profile vent over it. Ricky says ""I don't think that is a good idea, how about we drill a series of 1"" holes on each side of the ridge so we keep more deck strength."" That's what we did and he also cut all the original ridges to the 2"" size they should have been and added new ridge vents anywhere he could. I say all of this because I had to develop that we needed to add more ridge vents but Ricky was the one who based on his experience made it work! (The other two contractors did not take any interest in fixing this ventilation issue.)

I believe the workers are all his crew. They work very hard, communicate well and are fast. One person spent the entire two days cleaning up as they worked. They cover the world with blue tarps. They ask if they can use your outlets. They do not use ""toe boards"" which I think may be why I had several questionable deck pieces that needed to be replaced from the last time my roof was replaced. Other deck pieces were replaced because Ricky thought they were too warped. I had stopped asking contractors if they used toe boards because they get real evasive. I noted to Ricky that I appreciated that they did not use toe boards. Must be a pet peeve of his because he told me for the next five minutes how bad toe boards were ending with ""why would you put a nail through a perfectly good roof and not expect it to leak!""

I could say more but I think you get the point, a solid contractor choice!!
