Rick is the best! We obtained four bids to fix a roof leak that had seriously damaged an interior wall. The problem was near the chimney at a confluence of flashings and saddles and all kinds of other lines and angles. The bids were all over the place in their diagnoses and costs. Rick's was the lowest and simplest, and he seemed easy to talk with, so we gave him a try. The leak has disappeared and been well tested through the many winter storms this past season. We had Rick back to replace a skylight, and to do some other minor roof maintenance. We are 100% satisfied.

Rick came out to help diagnose a leak. I thought it was a leaky roof, but with his step by step investigation he did figure out and show that it was a leaky window. He was very thorough in going through a process of elimination to narrow down the issue.

Rick was referred to me from another roofing company I found online that was booked out for weeks. I was in a pinch as I needed an attic fan installed a day before our new insulation was being blown in. Rick was available and we went for it. He offered great insight into roof management, signs of wear and tear and the overall lifespan of a tar and gravel roof. We also installed an air turbine in our garage which has dropped the temperature about 15 degrees in the summer already. I'll be using Rick for a new roof install in 5-7 years. Great guy!

Couldn't be happier with Rick and his excellent work! Without hesitation, we will hire Rick again - hard working, thorough, prompt and courteous. We felt what he charged was very reasonable. This was not an easy job working on our roof for four days and we were long overdue for some maintenance. He educated us on the importance of maintaining our roof (as debris from the trees can get under the tiles and not allow water to flow through properly) every 5-10 years with a ""check-up"" and we will have him back again. We recently developed a leak in our roof which was coming through our living room ceiling after the last the round of pounding rain storms in the Bay Area. I quickly reached out to 4 or 5 roofing repair companies. I figured they all would be busy, but Rick was one of two that returned my call.
He came out about a day later to examine the roof. He told me he would charge a flat fee of $450 if he uncovered where the problem might be.. if not, there was no charge for the roof inspection.
Took him about 30 minutes to do the inspection. He said he found what he considered to be the problem. He described it to me and showed me some pictures.
It took Rick about an hour or so to do the repairs.. He sent me pictures of what he was doing as the repair was taking place. Once done he charged me the agreed amount.
A few days later another round of Big storms hit AND our leak was GONE.
In summary, Rick did a great job of responding to our call in a busy time for roofing contractors, showed up for his appointment, fixed the leak, and did it all for a reasonable price..
I would not hesitate to call him again if we have future roof issues..

Rick came out to our house last year.

He was one of the only roofers among the many I called who would even come out to do an estimate on a repair job.

It was at the end of summer and there was rain in the forecast, and most roofers I talked to would only bid on full re-roofing jobs.

Rick was great -- courteous, friendly, and did the job at a very competitive price. While he was up on our roof, he even did another smaller repair job without any extra fee.

It's a year later and the repair is still absolutely seamless. Perfect job.

Rick was referred to me by another roofing company that is too back-logged with new roof jobs to do any repairs currently. I spoke with Rick on Tuesday and he said he'd come out on Wednesday after an appointment in Oakland that morning. He called at 11:15, I gave him my address in Danville and he said he was on his way from Alamo. He called back a few minutes later to say that his GPS couldn't locate my address (no one has EVER had that problem before since our home is over 30 years old - so obviously not a new address). I gave him directions and while on the phone he said his partner was able to get the address in his iphone and they were on their way. 10 minutes later he called back and said he was running out of time and that I'd have to find someone else to fix my roof. Very abrupt and surprising phone call after 3 previous calls stating he was happy to come look at our job and give us a quote. Not sure what changed in that short time since all our previous conversations were friendly.
