After Rhyne Restoration put a new roof on my house I found out later by building code enforcement that Rhyne Restoration never pulled any permits and never had any inspections done.

This business is a scam.
We haven't had any work done, we owe them nothing and have paid nothing. We asked to be removed from the contract and move on to a more reliable business, but the owner refuses which basically traps us in a broken home due to Hurricane Michael (we have to go through a process in order to have our mortgage company investigate and report against Rhyne to have the contract null). What kind of professional business does this? Do they think we want them to touch our home after this behavior? Are they seriously trying to 'force' us to use them?

After Hurricane Micheal, our house was heavily damaged. Our priority to be fixed was our roof, then we would proceed with other repairs. When I met Brian Cobb, he said they could have a new roof on our home within a few weeks. After two months passed, we finally got a check in the mail from our mortgage company which was NOT for ONLY the roof (as I was originally promised); it included the whole house. When I confronted Rhyne, they wanted us to sign the check over to them; when I refused, he accused me of having 'trust issues'!!!
The check is in our name and Rhyne Restoration's name; we are not releasing our insurance money to someone who just scammed us by submitting a request for funds on the whole house! I talked to the mortgage company and they need a signed agreement that nothing was done, nothing was paid, and nothing is owed. When this request was presented to Rhyne, they refused.
Given they have proven themselves as less than professional, we will NOT be doing business with these people.
They are holding us captive in a broken home that takes on more damage EVERY time it rains!

They did a good job. I won't say GREAT because there were many sloppy areas near the trimming and soffits. Was a bit expensive but we expected that due to the Hurricane. The sales reps who initially came were kinda pushy. We did use them due to the fact that they were referred to us by a friend. They did get the job done super fast though and it looks fantastic! Overall was a good job.

After hurricane Irma came through, our home, and business had significant damage to the roofs. I called at least 5 companies, but not one showed up,responded to my left messages etc. So I reached out to this company, even though they were over 30 miles away in Orlando. Within 24 hours, they sent a crew out to tarp our home,and business,so there wouldn't be anymore leaking/damage. Then about 3 weeks later,we were able to work with insurance, and get both new roofs. Even the estimator came back over a week later from his first visit, to help us negotiate with the claim adjuster. He went above, and beyond to help us. I highly recommend this company. The owner even called, gave me his cell number, and said to call him if we had any problems. I'm glad I'm able to review

Rhyne Restoration was excellent through the entire process. After the initial on-site inspection and proposal process, Todd Rhyne came to a Board meeting to ensure our homeowners felt comfortable with the type of material and timing of coating our roof. The prep & installation was seamless! Can't say enough about what a great company they are to work with. We have a second building which will need a roof in about eight years....will definitely be calling them for the work.

My neighbors hired this company to re-roof their home. The roofers constantly trespassed on my property, leaned against my home during breaks,
Left cigarate-filled cups on my property, ran a loud generator for 7+ hours just inches from my window, left roofing material in both ny side and rear yard.
To make matters worse, I noticed that after the left, my newly installed gutters were heavily littered with roofing shingles, nails, debris. I called the company to voice my concerns and offer them the chance to rectify the issues. It's been over a week and they have failed to return my calls.
I resorted to cleaning all of the debris from my gutter and home. When you hire a contractor it's not only important that they respect your property but as any person of integrity and ethics knows, they should respect your neighbors property as well.
As a result of the company's sloppiness and failure to respond, I would never recommend them.

This was after a hurricane and all roofers were very busy but I didn't have to wait as long as my neighbors. The bill came in higher than what the insurance company would give me but Rhine adjusted the bill so I didn't have to pay more. They did a great job and even worked with my roofmate who did his own repairs.
