I had RHI Construction as one of the few quotes I received to re-roof a part of my roof.

Sales and Inspector Process:
* I gave a call and set-up an appointment the day I was home. The estimator came in during the time frame and walked up and measured the roof. They did their best to answer my questions.

How long it took to receive a quote?
* They never provided me a quote via email yet and it has been over a month since they inspected the roof. The estimator who came was Noah.
* I ended up calling a different company to replace the missing quote.

Some advice when looking for a roofing company that helped me decide.
* Make sure someone is home to interact with the contractor when them come to do the inspection. I like interacting with them and asking my questions in person. You want to make sure they show-up rather than just look at the house at google and give you an estimate. When getting a re-roof or repairs, you want exact square footage over an estimate (the estimate could be too small or bigger which could affect the price you pay for the re-roof).
* Check on your municipality website and review at least the 5 jobs they did. Read in detail how long they took from filing the permit to finish, what the inspector said on their work, etc.
* Read the Better Bureau ratings on the company.
* Check out 1 to 3 nearby municipality websites and review at least the 5 jobs they did. Read in detail how long they took from filing the permit to finish, what the inspector said on their work, etc.
* Ask a non-bias home inspector over the phone on how long a project should take and approximate cost through their experience.
* Ask a few home inspectors who they would recommend for roof repairs (the one I called gave me two of them).
* Go with your gut feeling. If you feel something is off and a process you do not feel conformable with that the roofing sales and inspector said, they may not be the best fit for you and your re-roof.
* Confirm that the company has a business license filed and active with your municipality.

We couldn't be happier with RHI and our new roof! My husband and I received 5 estimates for our shingle tear-off / metal re-roof and while RHI was not the least expensive, it was not the highest. The price was quite reasonable and after the nightmare we had with the leaking shingle, we are excited to now have metal. Noah was our project manager and was a delightful person to work with; Knowledgeable, and professional with great communication throughout the entire process. Mistakes happen during construction projects all of the time and we did have a small hurdle. The crew made an error and stopped too short (at a difficult transition from metal to flat roof, where to put the corner). Noah (and David) agreed with us right away about this error and without delay, the crew returned to correct it. We believe how RHI handled the inevitable hurdle, this is what sets them above the rest~ Highly recommend!

Met with Dax Monday morning. He measured flat roof and said that I would get estimate the next day. Tuesday, nothing. I called Tuesday night and left a message. Wednesday, nothing. I call Wednesday during business hours (since they did not return my message). Lady said that she would tell Dax to call me. He didn't. Thursday, I call again. Spoke to same lady. She tracked down Dax and I spoke to him. He gave some excuse and said I would get estimate to repair the next day. Friday, I get an estimate. It was 30% higher than the highest estimate I got from other companies. He even didn't measure my flat roof properly. If a company cannot even keep their word to response, don't trust them to repair your roof!

My roof was in desperate need of replacement! Project Manager Chris worked on my SOW throughout completion. Very professional dealings with Chris. I was provided different cost-effective quotes to work with my needs. Also, kept informed via electronic communication of permits status and start date.

ROOF Completion: Amazing Level of Detail! My Driveway and yard were covered with protective tarps to ensure no damage + collecting any fallen debris or nails. After clean up it was like they were never there. My new ROOF looks amazing + NO MORE LEAKS. Perfect!

FINAL: Amazing service throughout beginning to end (A++++) Not only professional and informative, but did everything exactly that was written in my contract. NO unusual or erroneous charges. A BIG THANK YOU 4 THAT!!

In Retrospect: A family member advised I contact RHI early in my hunt for a roofer. After a difficult time with the competition... I regret not calling sooner =)

We were looking to replace our older asphalt shingle roof with metal, and actually began our search in early 2019. After talking to about 4-5 roofers we settled on RHI but weren't able to pull the trigger before the rainy season began. We gave it another go this year, and re-did our search, talking to another 3 or 4 roofers. Again we settled on RHI.

We worked with Chris during the search (and throughout the whole process as well), who took the time to answer all our questions and always returned calls and texts promptly. I have some construction background and could tell he knew what he was talking about. Their quote was competitive, and so we signed the contract. They were able to start quickly (dealing with all the permitting), and they stuck to their schedule, which included some extra work around hurricane strengthening of our roof deck. The only delay we experienced was due to all the corona virus chaos happening around us, and that was just for a couple of days. Nevertheless, the job was done quickly and competently, and the crew was meticulous with cleaning up after themselves. I also spoke with the inspector at the final inspection and he had nothing but good things to say about RHI.

The new roof looks great and I'm confident it will perform well for many, many years. RHI is a professional, capable, and hard working company and I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for roof work or replacement.

I am more than pleased with the service received from RHI construction. The Manager I worked with ""Chris"" was fantastic and provided answers to all my questions. The install crew was professional and i can't believe how well they protected my yard with plastic from nails. This was just after Irma i had them put in my roof. RHI Construction, Inc. is an outstanding contractor. Our roofing project was much more complicated than usual, due to the previous contractor who made matters worse. Most of the roofing contractors we contacted either didn't bother to show up or decided that they didn't want to touch another contractors' disaster.

David Panella-Production Manager and the team at RHI assured us that we would be happy with the finished product, and their actions spoke louder than words. They understood the grief we experienced with our previous contractor, so they wanted to make certain that our new roof was done right. We had to delay the project for months due to rain. There were issues that required RHI to partner with another contractor and it took us a long time to find the right contractor. Over all of this time of delaying the project, RHI stuck by our side assuring us that they would be here as soon as everything came together.

Throughout the process, David kept in contact with us and even arranged meetings with his boss Mike. Sometimes, it wasn't good news due to the previous work that was performed. But in the end, the timely and open communications meant no curve balls or hidden costs.

While the project was underway David was here each step of the way, making sure everything was done properly. We could not be happier with our roof now! In fact, we learned more about roofing than we ever wished to!

We, without hesitation, recommend RHI for your roofing needs. They are not like the typical SE FL contractors, they actually care.

They showed up ON-TIME! David kept me informed during the entire process and answered any question I had. The work was done without any issues.
