We called for a roofing quote as we were told by our new insurance company our garage needed to be re roofed. It was a flat roof. We had gotten quotes from several places. Rod responded first and he came out to look at the roof.

One roofing company told us what cost would be on the phone, and had no interest in coming out to look at the roof. He google -earthed our house - very odd.

Rod came out the next day and gave a quote. He agreed to get the permit filed for the city, and then got it signed. When he got the permit signed, he called us to schedule what days he and his team would be there to start. He spent one full day with his team and almost completed it. He came back 2 days later and completed the project.

His price was fair and he was good. His team was professional and experienced. It is a local business and family owned as well.

We definitely recommend Rod and his team!!!!!

On Friday, June 14th, 2024, a major storm drenched the Davie area for several days, causing a tremendous amount of rain that flooded my neighborhood. I developed a horrible roof leak that needed immediate repair. Both of my kids' rooms were flooded with water, and large portions of drywall and carpet were destroyed. I called my roofing company, which I currently have a contract with for a future roof replacement to come and fix the leak over my kids' rooms. This company was unable to come out and fix the leak because all of their service techs were too backed up on other repair jobs. I also called another major roofing company that was also too backed up to come out due to the storm. I've used Rod Guy in the past and knew he did great work. I decided to call Rod, while it was still raining and about 3 pm on a Friday. I spoke to Rod directly and told him my situation. He came to my house 45 minutes later and told me he was extremely backed up with other repair jobs, but he would try to send a crew out the following day. I never expected Rod to fit me into his busy schedule, nor did I expect him to come out over Father's Day weekend. But sure enough, Rod and his crew showed up at my house the very next morning. Rod and his guys tore down my roof tiles, found large chunks of rotten wood, and repaired my leak! Rod also came out the next week and repaired other areas of my roof, which he thought could result in a future leak. His price was absolutely fair, and his crews workmanship was fantastic. Above all else, Rod is an amazing person. It is so hard this day and age to find an honest repairman, especially a roofer, who isn't trying to just make a quick dollar. Rod never tried to up-sell me unnecessary services. He made sure the job was done right, and he truly cares about his customers. I can not say enough good things about Rod Guy and his crew. Thank you, Rod, I appreciate everything you did to help me and my family during a hard time.

The service from start to finish was excellent. Their quality of work is outstanding if for some reason you are unable to be their, no worries they keep you updated with photos Mr. Rod even call me to explain what was happening in the photos, plus explain to me why my roof was leaking. Now that's over and beyond, excellent service. I can't even put a value on how I appreciated them coming out the same day I called to evaluate the situation. What I paid for the service & materials was a great value too me and my family. Anyone knows when it comes to your roof a little spot can sometimes leads to a big problem down the road. I highly recommend RGR for any of your roofing needs. Remember hurricanes season is a pond us give them a call, even if you don't see a problem but think they might be one, please give them a call and ask for them to come and take a look at your roof. Am a new customer am telling you this company is the best good honest family business. They come do the work they are hired to do no standing around. When they leave your property is as clean like they were never their, accept for your new roof. My opinion RGR company deserves a 10 star rating thanks Rod

Short story: So glad i called RGR Rod Guy Roofer! I connected by phone and was able to show him a picture of the issues on our flat roof. He quoted a fair price on the same day and we were fortunately able to schedule the repairs within the week!

Longer Story: Citizens came to do an inspection of our home after insuring the home for 20+ years. They stated that the flat roof was worn and deteriorated. I called RGR who has been a Hollywood resident his entire life and though i only dealt with this issue on my home, Rod has been dealing with Citizens and this issue forever. His confidence in his work comes through on the phone. I received an email and text quote with follow-up calls. When his workers arrived (early!) , both Ivan and Victor were professional, thorough and kept the workplace clean. Rod follows up the work with paid invoices and pictures that you can simply send to the insurance company.

Its refreshing to hire a professional and not have to worry - that is my experience with RGR Rod Guy Roofer!

I have to thank Rod for coming out to my home and diagnosing my issue. What I thought was a roof leak turned out to be something totally different and Rod helped me to realize that. RGR Roofing came out promptly rather quickly I might add, that same day, and gave me an assessment of what I thought to be a roof leak. He was very honest and reliable and if I ever get a roof issue Rod will be my go-to guy. It's because he was honest and he wasn't trying to make extra money off of me or strong-arm me into buying anything. He is truly ethical and genuine. He has my business. I'm very much grateful!
