Paid Christopher Rodriguez 1k for gutter installation materials in Dec. No materials. No service. Phone number disconnected. Do I have to give one star? Disappointed and still in need of a gutter. Must make the money to pay for another vendor.

Beware scam. Restoration Solutions booked through Angies list came to Sarasota from Orlando requested 100% cash upfront for guttering repairs. I paid a deposit. Christopher Rodriguez returned a week later reinspected the same job and requested more money to cover facia boards that needed replacement. I said no more money upfront but will increase final balance. More than a week later Rodriguez showed up a third time and requested more money for a work lift platform. Still no work started on the gutter repairs. Again I said I would increase final balance but not pay more upfront money since several weeks had elapsed but no work started on repairs. He got in his car and drove away leaving a few boards which had been purchased from Home Depot and were delivered in the back of a Mercedes SUV which dropped the boards and drove off. No further contact by Restoration Solutions since then. DO NOT PAY MONEY UPFRONT BEWARE SCAM.

I had a similar experience as Myron B. and Timothy D. when I booked a service for gutter and screen work through Angi for November 4, 2024, which is upsetting since Myron B's review clearly states that Angi promised never to recommend this company in the future. In all fairness to Angi, perhaps they thought they were recommending an individual handyman who was merely acting as a front for the company as a result of previous poor reviews. In any case, the individual that was supposed to come out never showed, even though on the Angi App, the job was showing as in progress, and then completed. Instead, someone else by the name of Chris Rodriquez showed up later from Restoration Solutions and advised me that the job would cost more than estimated, but that the work would be guaranteed by the company and he would return another day to complete the job, as well as a few additional minor repairs that we agreed upon for an additional $150. He also said I would need to purchase a list of materials, which I did, but ultimately, they were not exactly what was needed for the job. The company did send one technically competent individual to replace one screen panel on our lanai early on, but after 3 visits from Chris R., the job, which only entailed @70 feet of gutter and is not rocket science, is not complete. So far, I have paid the original estimate of $289.40 to Angi, PLUS and additional $550 to Restoration Solutions, not including all of the materials that I purchased. None of the gutter work is finished; neither are the minor repairs that were additionally negotiated. Even though they keep promising to come back, I no longer trust this company to finish the job properly and have contacted Angi to file a complaint and make a claim, as their recommendations are supposedly guaranteed. Hopefully, I can get the job done by someone else and recoup some of my losses.

Beware using this company for anything. I recently contacted Angi's regarding a refrigerator repair and was contacted by Christopher Rodriguez who supposedly works for this company. He came out to our house, looked at the refrigerator, and said it needed a new electrical control panel. He said I would need to pay in advance for the panel which was $320.25 and that he would have it in about a week. This was on June 30, 2024. He said that he would email me a receipt which he never did. After a week of not hearing from him, I tried to contact Restoration Solutions to no avail. They don't answer the phone or return phone calls. I tried to call Mr Rodriguez and left messages on his cell phone and he never returned my call. On July 1, 2024, he used my credit card number to get $300 cash from a company in New York which charged him a $20.25 transaction fee. To date, I haven't seen a control panel, which it turns out I didn't need, nor have I gotten my money back from him. I contacted Angi's but they were no help in resolving the matter except to say they would no longer recommend this company for repairs.

I paid for leaf guard materials and installation. The correct measurements were not taken. I paid for all materials, but some could not be used because of wrong width or length. I have been calling Restoration Solutions almost every day to see about completion of work starting 1st week of June. No one from Restoration Solutions will return my calls. I have paid for the work and I just want it completed. One of the worst experiences involving the many homes I have owned.
