Rescue Roofing was amazing and really saved us. We had a big leak from the winter and Hurricane Hillary was coming. They came out on a day notice to come up with a plan. Allen, the foreman, was extremely helpful with this. Then the next morning (Saturday as Hillary approached) the excellent crew was out bright and early to quickly tarp the roof. Allen went above and beyond through all of this...he was communicating at night and on Sunday even to make sure we were happy. Pricing seemed fair, especially considering the speed up the work.

We had an excellent experience. We have a 1920s-era home on a stair-street* in Echo Park with lots of old wood and features that make it beautiful but exceptionally inconvenient and expensive to maintain. The heavy rains from Winter 2022-2023 blessed us with a leak in the worst possible location, requiring extra labor, time, and stages to even access the leak. We had never had roofing/leak issues, so I did a lot of prep work to understand the situation, how these projects go, what they cost, etc., to be able to discuss and not be a difficult moron. I then called several places, but after explaining the situation, sending photos, and being upfront about what I (a layperson) perceived as hurdles, most wouldn't even come out to offer a quote.

Rescue Roofing took my call on a Saturday morning and had folks at our place a couple days later--on time. We talked over everything w/ Harry & Don, and ultimately decided to go w/ Rescue Roofing. They started a few days later and we were soon introduced to a broader crew--Arthur/Art, Alejandro/Alex, Nick, & more--who were all really great & easy to work with from start to finish. The whole thing took a couple of weeks, and they were always in good communication about what was going on, when, if they were going to stop by to check on things, etc., etc., which was extremely helpful to me b/c I was always able to make plans around my work schedule. When you're spending a ton of money b/c something needs to be fixed and fixed right, it's a relief when it can at least not be unpleasant to get through and the people you work with are gracious and friendly.

We don't want another leak, and we don't want our friends and neighbors to have them, either, but we'd call Rescue Roofing again if we needed to and have already recommended others we know do the same.

* To explain: our home is in a hilly area of Echo Park, and there's no street access, no driveway--the ""street"" we live on is an actual staircase, no other way in or out but to take the stairs...100s of them. Despite stair-streets being common in our general area, some businesses won't take jobs that present access-issues like our home does, so we also always make it a point to let review-readers know, ""hey, this business takes stair-street homes, they worked with us despite our tough/awkward location.""

The whole project took about 14 days from start to finish. They handled both the solar panels and the roof. The initial meeting for estimate with John and Allen was great. They were professional and friendly. It was a good sign when they were on time, and inspect the roof prior to going over the estimate. They were thorough and provide all the details. Their manager Abe followed up after the estimate meeting and willingly negotiated the pricing. When the project starts, their crew was punctual, and they were on top of communication. They pulled the permit and took care of inspection scheduling. They consistently provided updates, with pictures where applicable, through every steps. When we had issue with a facia board they installed, they fixed it the next day.

I have had bad experience with contractors (the ones that doesnt show up when they said they would, or show up late, or dont communicate, and do bad work), so I can tell you that this company is great and worth their price. They are not cheap, but you get what you paid for. Overall, I would recommend them to anyone who ask.

I'd love to give Rescue Roofing 10 stars if I could. This spring, our homeowners insurance was being canceled and we were told we needed to replace our roof right away to be reinstated with a different company. Having never replaced a roof, my husband and I were stressed out big time! Thankfully Rescue Roofing was the first company we called. At the time it was raining almost every day. Not a great time to replace a roof! Luckily Adam from RR was incredible to work with from start to finish! He understood our need to install the roof quickly and even called in favors to get the permits and have his crew start immediately. Adam communicated every aspect of getting the roof done and contacted us proactively with updates every step in the process. His positive attitude, courteous manner and responsiveness to all my questions really helped alleviate our stress throughout the install. Everyone we worked with was very professional and respectful on our property. Although the weather didn't always cooperate, we were very happy with our new roof and Adam's knowledge, professionalism and great communication every step of the way. Thanks Adam!

As many homeowners this rainy LA winter felt, my mother and I were really unsure of how to go about picking a roofing company to work with after our roof leaked. Its hard to know who to trust, and we haven't had the best experiences with every contractor or company we've hired in the past. But from the first interaction with rescue roofing, we felt at ease and confident with the quality of their service. The person we called on the phone was kind and able to quickly send someone out to assess our roof situation.

The person they sent, John, was SO patient in explaining the process of working with them, their qualifications/license/insurance/bond, and made sure to answer all of our questions; he was even able to find us some options that worked with our budget which we really appreciate. John was the foreman in charge of managing our house's repairs, and I simply cannot state how great of a service he provided. John was communicative, responsive, on-time, kind, and professional.. He was even great with our dog. John got the job done well and kept us updated along the way. The crew John brought was great, they worked really hard and got the job done in a timely manner.

Ultimately, the job got done and we are very pleased with how it turned out. A full roof replacement was no small job, and we are so grateful for the amazing team at rescue roofing for the great service they provided. Thank you!!

After two weeks of vetting, Rescue Roofers landed my #1 pick amongst 5 competing companies. My main point of contact was Eric. He gave me peace of mind in making an educated decision, regardless of which company I was to choose. Rescue Roofers provided the clearest, most concise contract, and Eric diligently explained all parts of it- line by line. After speaking with him, I became familiar with the industry standards and identified pitfalls in other companies' poorly written contracts, overpricing, and quality of services. Although Rescue Roofers were not the cheapest options, their honesty and transparency are why I selected them.

One day after signing the contract, they attained the required permits and began demolition. Then six days later, they finished a complete re-roof. Given the time-sensitivity of other projects within the home, it was important that they finish the project sooner rather than later. Eric was unaware of my need for a quick turnaround but delivered a clean and finished project three days earlier than expected.

When it came to financing, Arthur was very kind and thorough in explaining the loan process to my mom. Her skepticism changed as he explained specific numbers, due dates, and concepts like no early payout fees. (Note, financing was with a third party company) Again, the company establishes trust by educating its clients on related procedures to make educated decisions for themselves. Also, we ran into a few hiccups in attaining the actual loan, but they patiently worked with us to adequately compensate them for their already completed work.

Again, I'd like to reiterate. Rescue Roofers were not the cheapest option, but I have no regrets about choosing them for the job.
