An unforeseen event, the Northridge Earthquake, shifted their business into a vital community resource. Despite facing difficulties, their enterprise grew quickly in the subsequent year.

The first three years were filled with ups and downs, ultimately leading Darrin to exit the partnership. Nonetheless, their bond stayed strong, and they worked on improving their business knowledge for the next twenty years. In 2019, the pair reunited with a common goal to transform the construction experience and change the negative views of contractors.
