Coy Greathouse has been the best claims estimator that we have had come look at our roof since we've been shopping companies. He spent much more time on our roof than any other guy who has inspected the damage. He did a very thorough job noting and explaining all the problems as well as how the roof repair and insurance process works. He found a leak that all the other guys have missed. He was super patient with all of my questions making sure to explain everything thoroughly. He was also very patient with all the interruptions from my kids. On top of all that he even removed a dead snake from our garage! This is the best customer service I've had from anywhere in a long time...not just roofing!

They did a good job, for a very fair price, helping me set trusses and install the roof on my garage project. There were a couple of minor issues we found later, and in both cases they were right back out there, taking care of them, in one case as quickly as the next day. I definitely recommend these guys, they did a great job on delivery and took care of my concerns very quickly.
There should be a way to give 4.5 stars, because there were SOME issues, or I would have given them a 5, but those issues did really underline how customer focused they are. One of the issues I had reported on a text message I think Saturday night or Sunday morning, and they were back out Monday to fix it, had it done before noon. I've called them back for two more jobs since.
I don't expect everyone to be perfect all the time, just be willing to make it right, and when it comes to that, these guys hit it out of the park.

Were originally told we wouldn't have any out of pocket after insurance. Now being told we have to pay 11k on top of the 5k the insurance paid. Scam!

I have known Adam and the team at Renown Roofing and Construction for quite a while. I'm an insurance broker here in Dallas, so you can imagine that I work with a LOT of roofing contractors. Adam is one of my very favorites, and Renown is one of only three roofers in all of DFW that I refer my clients to with absolute confidence that they will have an excellent experience. On the rare occasion that something goes wrong, Adam and his team have been very prompt to fix the problem and make sure that my clients are 100% satisfied. Highly recommended if you're looking for a roofer!

Renown took out the guess work and walked us through every step. They were generous with information and answered all of our questions. Renown personnel were thorough in managing our expectations, and their performance was above-board. Early on, I had a choice and was pleased that I went with renown. While the crew was working o my home, I was able to observe the company I almost hired work on a neighbor's home across the street. The other company's contractors were loud, disrespectful and unprofessional. I was very grateful it was the renown crew I had allowed into my home. In the end Renown kept their word and cost was exactly what they promised... well... actually it was $50 less they they had estimated. Not only would I re-hire renown, I would strongly recommend this company to anyone who is in need for any roofing, repair or renovation project.

As a recent first-time homebuyer, there is still quite a bit I have to learn about maintaining a home. Getting hit with two record-setting hailstorms in 2016 (Wylie, TX) meant I was getting inundated with contacts from different roofing companies seemingly everyday. I wasn't sure of what to do and was praying to find a company that was trustworthy, reliable and honest. Thankfully, I was referred by very good friends to Adam B. and his company, Renown Roofing and Construction. My friends had worked with Adam in the past for their roofing needs and reassured me that he would take good care of me and my home. I called Adam and he came out to my home the very next day to climb up on my roof and perform a full evaluation. He explained the extent of the damage, was super patient in answering my questions, said what repairs needed to be done quickly and what could wait if I needed to. Also, he was great about coming out again to meet with insurance adjuster and fought on my behalf. When it came time to repair my roof, Philip (my roof project manager), was great about communicating the timing of what they would do - they started one afternoon and finished the next afternoon. They were great about cleaning up afterwards and best of all, they did a superb job in repairing my roof. You will find no better company than Renown Roofing and Construction - I can't recommend them highly enough!!

give me a break, all these contractors tell you that you HAVE to pay the deductible, what a joke, patio awning needs replaced, total of $300 materials, insurance paid $1400 where is all that money going for 8 hours of labor? would really love to make $175 an hour, thats lawyers pay, this is just ONE example of contractors keeping the 99%ers in poverty, what a joke.................and I can go on with the other examples of my $14,000 claim. SHOP around people...................

I came across Renown construction after a wind storm hit our neighborhood leaving a HUGE tree in my roof. My insurance company was very reluctant to repair the roof and with the help of Renown we were able to get a NEW roof with a 30 year warranty. Job was completed in a timely matter and Matt was always available to answer any questions we had along the way. They even went above and beyond and fixed extra nail pops in the interior of the house.

I would recommend Renown to my friends and family.

Totally agree with the review from Sid on 5/8/2016. It has almost been a month and a half since I first spoke to a representative from Renown Roofing and Construction who assured they would take good care of my property severely damaged from a recent hail storm . Last time I called him was over 3 weeks ago. At that time he said they would send out their guys to assess some additional damages the insurance might have missed and would get back to me within a week. No follow up or anything either from him or his company. Not even a single call. They did not even cover the skylights as a precaution since one is severely damaged and water could've leaked inside the property and done some internal damage.

I'm very disappointed by their horrible customer service. I've no idea what's going on. It seem they only wanted to grab as much business as possible and had no intention of finishing up the job in a timely manner. I've fired them and have no intention of giving them my business anymore.
