I was tight on time frame to repair my roof. I contacted five roofing companies to assess the work that was needed. Paul/Renaissance Roofing came out on top. Not only was he the quickest to respond to my request but was also the most competitive of them all. Paul was very detailed on his inspection of my roof and showed me the work that needed to be done. Paul was able to squeeze me in his tight schedule and completed the job within four days after initially calling him. He showed me the work that was done after the job was completed. Wow, impressive service and highly knowledgeable. Paul did a great job and will use him again in the future work needed for my home. I highly recommend Renaissance Roofing!

Paul Pansano and Renaissance were recommended to me by a neighbor who gave them a fantastic recommendation. Paul's bid to remove popcorn from my ceilings was right on target among the other bids I got. Paul told me the start date and time for the job and he and his crew were prompt. Every step of the way, they have explained how the process will work. I work from my home office, so it is very important that I have a place to work from each day. The crew could not be any more accommodating. Popcorn removal can be a very dirty, dusty job. Paul's crew has gone out of their way to section off the areas of my home where they are working. They take as much care in my home as they would in theirs. They take care not to track anything in the part of my home where they are not working. Paul is a great guy and a real professional, as is his crew. I will not hesitate to call him back for future work. If you need painting, sheetrock repair, or popcorn removal, call Paul. You will not be disappointed.

Had a new roof put on our house and they did an excellent job. Paul was very knowledgeable and professional, even calling me back almost immediately when he was on vacation. He knows his stuff. His warranty on their work is the best out there. They finished it in about half a day. Would definitely use Renaissance Painting & Roofing again.

Had Paul's crew paint the entire interior of our new house, add a wall with crown molding, and paint our kitchen cabinets. Renaissance did a fantastic job on all 3 projects and the price was extremely competitive. His crew is very experienced and just a great group of guys. They have now done an entire exterior, interior, and cabinets for me and I would HIGHLY recommend them for all of your painting needs.

I'm torn on how to review Paul and his company. On one hand he did a great job with our roof, it looks really nice. He knocked it out in one day, ahead of schedule to avoid a weather system that was headed in. He allowed us to pay him when we closed on the house, and he was very personable and friendly. His bid was reasonable. There was one mishap with one of his guys putting a boot through the ceiling and he was on top of it, took care of the damage, and the repair was flawless.

After our great experience we decided to use Paul (renaissance) to scrape and re texture the ceilings in our new house, as well as having him subcontract out some electrical stuff. We got bids from the electrician but we couldn't get Paul to get back to us, he was leaving on vacation or something and would give us a bid when he got back, (Monday/Tuesday) nothing... Called him and he promised to have it done Thursday. We never heard from him. I called him one last time Monday and he didn't pick up so I gave up. I'm not going to chase you down to give you thousands of dollars you know?

Luckily I ran into an old friend who is married to a contractor, and he is taking care of us, but I hate getting stood up! We really thought we had a good thing going with Paul.

I would give 10 stars to Renaissance Painting and Roofing if yelp would let me. We had some ceiling texturing and painting that needed to be done. I didn't hesitate to email Paul since they did an awesome job on our roof last summer. Paul called me shortly after emailing him and set up a time to come out and look at the job. He told me that his crew would be ready to start on the scheduled time. His crew was right on time both days. They were professional, courteous and a pleasure to work with. The work is the best I've seen. Renaissance Painting and Roofing is my go to company for anything I need done to the house. Again thanks to Paul and his crew.

I will never used Renaissance Painting again..... after my job was completed, Paul (the owner) called and asked me to post a review on Yelp. I thought this was very unprofessional of him. After a short amount of time has passed, there was a problem with the job..... they had repaired and patched some nail holes in the ceiling..... they poked through again. I called Paul, and he refused to send someone back to make the repair...... AND he remarked that he noticed that I had never posted a favorable review, as he had asked me to do!!!! VERY unprofessional!! I guess this is why he won't come back. Although, he said they don't warranty nail hole patch jobs!!! Paul knows that I am a single woman with a back injury..... and that is impossible for me to get on a ladder to attempt to make the repair myself. Do yourself a favor, and don't call Renaissance painting.

When the massive wind storm swept through in February, we lost some shingles. We had our insurance company came out and they said that since the damage to the roof did not meet our deductible, we were on our own. I called and called and called roofers in Austin and surrounding areas. Out of dozens of phone calls, I had two roofers promise to come out to give us estimates and they never showed. No call, wouldn't call me back. No reason why they no-showed.

Then the hail storm came in March and I was scared we were going to get leaks. I called Renaissance and was not hopeful when the woman who answered the phone admitted how slammed they had been. But Paul called later that same evening and set up a time to come give us an estimate the next day.

He showed up in the time window he gave us, he told my husband that since they charged by the hour, after they replaced the shingles they would clean up a few very minor problems he found on the roof (sounds like a young man with a nail gun got hyper up there when the roof was replaced before we bought the house). He then set up a time to come out the following Monday. The work actually got done earlier than that on a Friday. I didn't have cash but was able to give Paul my debit card over the phone.

He had warned us that though he was going to match the shingles as best he could, you might be able to see the difference between the existing shingles and the new ones. I can't even see where the new shingles are. The job, to my eye, looks seamless.

Everyone had warned me about roofers, to make sure I got a reputable company. The all-five stars I saw here on Yelp gave me hope that maybe someone would really come and help us before our minor problem became a major headache. These high ratings are definitely deserved. Excellent customer service, work done before schedule and a very reasonable price, all the more reasonable because it kept my husband off the roof.

I always get multiple quotes for signifigant services. I had Costco and Renaissance quote painting my home. Costco rep that bid the job was nice but lacked any experience and the owner of Renaissance bid the job. The big difference was that the owner with 31 years in the business did the quote. He was able to suggest some repairs that would prevent me from having work done in the future. The paint job turned out great and the neighbors have all commented on how nice the house looks. In addition, the bid was slightly less than Costco and more work was done than quoted by Costco. Money well spent. Thanks Paul and team.
