After the violent hailstorm in Dallas on June 9, 2019, I was left with roof, gutter, window screen, fence, pergola, and chimney damage on my home in Lake Highlands. Compounding my concern was that my house was under contract to sell, and was scheduled to close on June 25th. So I was really stressed about what I could do to get all the repairs done and stay on time with the buyer for closing. I had hired Chris Wander of Remedy Roofing previously in January before I put the house up for sale to inspect my roof with his drone and confirm if there was any roof damage. So I called him that Sunday afternoon to see if he could help me. He came to my home on the morning of Monday June 10th, gave a preliminary assessment of the damage (which confirmed the same level of damage that my realtor's roofing contractor found). When I was able to get my insurance adjuster there to my house on Sunday June 16th, Chris had already been able to give an estimate to his inside operations team on what the extent of the covered damage would likely be, and order the supplies needed to complete the job once the final estimate from insurance would be provided. Once the insurance company approved the work to begin, Chris had a Remedy Roofing crew there the next day, along with the shingles & gutters I had approved; by noon on Tuesday June 18th, they were done with the roof & gutters. Chris also was able to establish a relationship with the buyer of my home, to allow them to coordinate directly with him on the colors for the staining of both the fence and the pergola after those repairs were completed. By the afternoon of June 25th, all of the approved repairs had been completed, and the closing was not delayed.

Given the widespread damage in the Dallas area from this once in a lifetime storm, I feel fortunate that I was able to rely on Chris and Remedy Roofing to help me during this very tight schedule. Everyone I interacted with from Remedy Roofing was highly professional - even when I was extremely stressed out due to the upcoming close date! I can absolutely recommend Remedy Roofing to anyone that needs roofing or any other storm damage repairs completed in a timely and professional fashion!
