Ken and his small crew did such meticulous work replacing, preparing, and correcting everything to meet current code. Their estimate was thorough, precise, and very reasonable. And, they have been roofing in the area for over 30 years, so they definitely know what they are doing.

Debbie, the office manager, was hugely helpful throughout the entire process as well. She answered all our questions (and there were a lot), routinely checked in with the crew, and kept us updated on the daily progress. Such a pleasure to work with.

Reliable roofing installed my roof they did a pretty good job and my roof looks great. The job took longer than expected. They also removed my solar panels and reinstalled them once the job was completed. The solar company that removed my solar panels reinstalled them incorrectly. They crossed up positive wires with negative wires causing my solar to function poorly. When I brought this to their attention all I heard was crickets. If you have solar panels I need them removed for a new roof I need to check their work carefully. Just because the solar is turned back on does not mean it was connected properly.

We have been using Reliable Roofing, Thousand Oaks, for the past 15 years. They have always been prompt, neat and as their name says reliable. Ken and Debbie are very attentive to their client's needs. After the heavy rains and winds a few weeks ago, we had a small leak. Ken came out within a day or two and put up a tarp until he could access what needed to be done. A few days after the tarp was put up the winds returned and the wood under the tarp was banging against the roof. The noise was awful and we were worried more tiles would be damaged. It was Saturday night and I texted Debbie and then sent a recording so she could hear what was going on. It didn't take 2 minutes and she called me to tell me Ken would be right over to remove the tarp. I didn't want to impose but she insisted............true to her word he was here and gone within a few minutes. I trust Reliable Roofing and would not hesitate to recommend them.

Fantastic job on Our roof. We needed a complete tear off. We worked out a great price and after decided to add replace some plywood which was delivered almost immediately. The roof came down fast and went up fast. It was thru the hottest days of aug 2020 when we hired reliable and we were working remotely at home too but the noise didn't affect our jobs. Our roof looks and is absolutely amazing (we had 3 or so layers on it prior to us buying it in 2011 and it was leaking past few years so needed replacement) plus all neighbors compliment us. One yr we had tarps up. No more of that as we finally found a great co to redo the roof and although I had 6 different great cos to get bids fr angies list and referrals, we ran w reliable who was first to call. i opted to pay w out financing it. We pd as we went along only put $1lk down. Happy here in Beverly hills w our gorgeous roof

I had waited to the end of summer before getting my roof fixed since I needed the roof caps replaced & a 300sq ft flat roof refinished. Up to this time I had no roof leaks but wanted to update the complete roof maintenance. I used Yelp & was discouraged with the elite attitude of the more popular 5 star sites which wanted a $2,500 minimum fee plus a fee for an on-site inspection & project estimate.
Reliable Roofing, which only had a few Yelp postings, immediately set up an appointment. The owner, Ken, arrived on time & performed a detailed, very informative inspection. He said that he has 40 years in the business & was passing the on-site work to his son & crew & that Ken was only doing the inspections & estimates.
Ken informed me that the estimate would include a $500 charge for his inspection & written estimate & another $500 fee for his wife who runs the office. I promptly received the estimate of $1,960 within 3 days. Unfortunately, it did not include the flat roof area but did note that ""Flat roof systems have a life expectancy of approximately 10 to 20 years."" I did tell him that the roof was more than 20 years & that I had maintained it & had no leaks or problem areas. Ken did not make a point of fiscussinthat while inspecting the roof nor did he give me recommendations then or in the estimate. I did get another estimate & had the work promptly done including the flat roof for $2,500 much to my satisfaction.
