How can you call yourself reliable when you schedule an appointment and then you call to cancel the appointment 10 minutes before you arrive. Not good service and definitely not reliable.

I called to have some tiles replaced on my roof and found out I had dry rot!! This company made it painless they treated us like family. Talk about fast OmG had it all done in 3 days. ALSO FOU D US A WAY TO SAVE A FEW THIUSAND ON TIP OF THAT.thanks Reilable Roofing and thanks To Leo for helping us through the project.

I have had about 4 calls yesterday and today asking about the appointment today and confirming the time. They also asked on 3 occasions what the project was I had and if it was ready for an estimate. today I received a phone call at 2pm asking about my appointment between 2 and 3. They asked me to hold for a minute and after 2 minutes I hung up. No one ever called back and no one ever showed up for the appointment. At this point I am feed up with Home Advisors and Reliable Roofing

Jacob's company also goes by Reliable Painting & Home Improvement ( out of Newark).
We discussed with Jacob to do our fence project. My neighbors and I met with Jacob and we discussed with him want we wanted.
It was obvious, once the project was started that Jacob was dishonest.
He had ordered different type of wood (cheaper, wrong type than we discussed with him). When we called him out on it, he claimed he misunderstood what we wanted. He did get the correct wood after we called him out. From there the nightmare continued. There where all kinds of issues that came up. Jacob would tell me yes whatever you want and the workers would tell us something different.
Due to the pandemic (CORVID19) the project was interrupted and held off for about three weeks. I know this was not Jacobs fault.
My gate and my neighbors gate had been taken down so we had an open yard for all that time. Jacob just left us to secure our own yards during the interruption.
Jacob hired a new crew to come finish. Jacob claimed that the first crew did not come back because there were too many complaints. Maybe if he was physically here to supervise, there would not have been issues or misunderstandings. A portion of the fence did not turn out out the way that I had originally requested and even tho Jacob had already included in the price he still required me to pay him extra$ to fix it. I understood that to fix it he would have to pay workers for more for their time. He also requested that I pay for the extra material needed . I told him I would agree to pay if he brought me a receipt of what extra he needed to purchase. He came back with a couple of pieces of wood to complete borders. He handed me a receipt and said I brought 26 pieces of wood. l looked at the receipt it had 26 items. It read 25 bottles of Clorox bleach @$3.88 a bottle and 1 piece of wood @$1.95. Total retail of receipt read $108. I called him out on it. He said ""oh the bottle of Clorox is for me just deduct $3.88 form the total"". Either he is really stupid or I can't read or do simple math. I told him I am not paying for 25 bottles of Clorox. I should of just paid him the total $1.95. But I was honest and paid him exactly $50.70 OMG so dishonest and unprofessional.
I did give one star because project was completed, but because Jacob was such a poor business man it was a nightmare
getting from point A to point Z.

Do not use this service it was not reliable at all but a scam! We had a patio roof leakage and I sent the inquiry via yelp. Jacob who showed as the business owner for ""Reliable"" Roofing and Painting contacted me and give the quote with 2 yr warranty. And he showed up with one of his folk and claim it should be an easy fix. They spend around 2hrs on the patio and put on some sealants on the cracks. And then Jacob asked me to pay via ""Cash App""- a non refundable App. I paid him $700 with the expectation of he will send the invoice and contracts right afterwards. But it didn't not go with what I expected. 1. They didn't actually fixed the leakage.(see the picture). 2. Jacob didn't send the invoices and contract and made all different excuses not to send them. 3. They said they would try several more attempts to fix the leakage but every time they showed up was less than 20 mins and the leakage remains. 4. When I ask my money back because of they didn't fix anything what I got again was excuses but no actions. (See pictures).

Stay away or if you want use this service only pay after you check the result and receive the invoice and contract.

Requested a full roof replacement and insulation install. The project manager Argo was prompt, meeting my wife and I on our lunch break to give us a quote. Reasonably priced, for the size of the project. From there work started almost immediately and progressed quickly, with each major stage of the project being completed in 1-2 days. Argo stayed in touch with us the whole time and was very accessable. The work was completed entirely in less than 2 weeks. Good clean work, I would use them again if I had another similar project.

We were very pleased with the prompt response and professionalism from Reliable Roofing and Painting. Jacob, the owner, was very knowledgeable and patient with my SEVERAL questions related to the repairs needed to our roof. We ended up hiring them to do the job and with NO regrets we were/are 100% completely satisfied. The job was completed promptly but efficiently! I would highly recommend this company to anyone looking for repairs to a roof or paint. Outstanding customer experience. Thanks Jacob!
