Ramiro's quote was almost too good to be true however, he's done work for others we know and came recommended. His crew showed up on time every day, and really tore into the job at full speed. It was no easy task as the Tudor has very steep pitches all around. The total time spent from day one to completion was impressive.

The home is located in the McKinley Park area and since completion, dozens of walkers-by and neighbors have complimented the job. Everybody is happy.

Ramiro Hernandez, (owner) came out the same day after I called with a water leak. He is very knowledgeable, professional and gave a fair price. He also fixed my gutter that was not draining properly. His workers know what they are doing and clean up all the trash created.

Ramiro, the owner of Reliable Roofing was personally involved with every step of re-roofing our home. He was the most professional contractor we have ever employed. Our roof was removed very efficiently by a crew of a dozen hard-working men. This two week project had a daily rhythm of starting work at sunrise and ending the day at sundown. There were no ""days off"". The crew was courteous and fastidious. Each day our outdoor area was cleaner than we ever see it. Ramiro promptly answered every one of our questions. His price wasn't the cheapest, nor was it the most expensive. He treats his workers well, making sure their safety is the first priority. He provided them lunch every day as well. I give Ramiro the highest possible recommendation!

After a big storm I noticed several of my shingles had blown off my ridge cap leaving a few feet exposed. I called around to several roof repair companies to get a quote to replace all the ridge cap shingles. Id guess Half the companies actually returned my phone call, and I got a total of three quotes. I went with Reliable roofing for a few reasons. He was quick to respond, new exactly what it'd take to get the job done right and charged a fair price for the work. The day of the repair he showed up with his crew, on time and completed the job efficiently and without leaving any debris or nails laying around. He even went above and beyond to remove an old satellite dish that hadn't been used in a decade, just because their nice. I also appreciate that he didn't try to push a new roof on me, but when the time does come, I'll know who to call.

Ramiro is responsive and honest business man - my leak ended up not being a roof repair but a gutter problem. He explained why I was having water leaking into my house and cleared my gutters for me...then took a look at my roof and attic area to be sure I wasn't going to have future problems. This being the first big rain weekend in two years and many people needing him, he made time to come help me.

Ramiro Hernandez is the owner of the company. His workers are Gabriel and Jesus; they did a competent and excellent job of repairing my two-story home roof. Reliable Roofing had the lowest price of all the five companies that provided me with free inspections and estimates. Ramiro included a 2 year certificate/warranty after work was completed. I highly recommend this business over all the high priced large companies that have a lot of middlemen taking their cut of the cost. Found out the popular big roofing companies subcontract their work out so quality is not the focus. Reliable Roofing is a good reason to stay with a small company that does quality work for reasonable costs. Three of the five companies never followed up after their estimator came to my home; do not know if they are really busy or just forgot about my roofing repair job. Maybe they were really busy but a courtesy call would have been appreciated. Ramiro completed the work in less than a week from when he did the inspection and written estimate.

Reliable Roofing is a GREAT COMPANY to work with!!! I am so happy I hired them to fix my roof. Let me tell you why.

I had a relatively small roofing project involving replacement of plywood underlayment along the gutters in the eves that had rotted, and about 100 feet of 2x10 fascia boards that were also rotten.

I had several contractors in to evaluate the damage and offer cost estimates. I was surprised by the quotes, which seemed unreasonably high, and the attitude of a couple guys who were only interested in putting on a completely new roof instead of the limited repairs I actually needed.

Reliable Roofing was different. Ramiro, the owner, came out to the house and actually listened to what I wanted done, and then offered suggestions on improving my plan. When the price was quoted, and the work explained, I brought them on immediately and cancelled the other appointments for estimates because I knew I had found the right people for the job. I wasn't disappointed either... they have been absolutely great!!

The Reliable Roofing crew was able to come out to my project right away, and I was immediately impressed with how they worked. They were professional yet friendly, and very knowledgeable. They arrived and got straight on task. Ramiro (the owner) stayed on-site to be sure the project got off on the right track and the work was being done to the specs we had outlined. The crew worked hard and got the everything done in a single day. Once they were done I was extremely impressed with the quality of their work, the job turned out beautifully.

I don't usually do reviews, but what follows is the real reason I'm writing one today for Reliable Roofing. During the course of repairs, once the shingles were removed, there was more dry rot present in the plywood base layer than I thought, which would need to be replaced. I wasn't surprised to hear this, but still feared how much my invoice would be adjusted due to the extra work. Faced with a dynamic situation, there isn't much a homeowner can do except hoping the extra charges are reasonable. This is the proof of a company's fairness, at least to me, and Reliable Roofing didn't let me down. The additional charges were small given the extra labor and materials, and I was happy they brought the issues to my attention so I could have them fixed, especially since they didn't gouge me for having it done on the fly.

It's also interesting to note that my neighbor liked them so much after watching them work on my home that they hired them for a complete re-roofing right there on the spot... just like I did!

Reliable Roofing is everything a contractor should be but so often isn't. Ramiro has been in business for about a year, so I am particularly happy to provide this review in the hope that they get lots of well-deserved business! I give them my highest recommendation, both professionally and personally, and I've used a few contractors to know the good from the bad. Use Reliable Roofing for your projects large and small... they will do a great job for a reasonable price, and you absolutely won't be disappointed!!
