While we love our gutters, it was very difficult to get an answer to a question I had. It seemed to be a big deal and I asked for Ryan to call me back twice, he never did. Always got someone else. Finally got our question answered, but it sure took a lot of effort.

Made the mistake of answering the door for these people and entertaining a quote. Estimate process literally took 8 hours of my Saturday away all to get some astronomical number that was not logically founded nor accounted for item by item, on the same day. I asked for inventory estimate of why their quote was so incredibly high, the salesman had everything written down on one piece of note paper but he basically just estimated on the high side without even looking into the actual work. To better explain: we were interested in removing a wall, a wall that may or may not be a load bearing wall. The salesman admitted he was not sure if the wall was load bearing, did not crawl under the house or in the attic to verify but apparently assumed it was in the estimate. Just assume the worst and charge the most? WTF?

We were also looking to do a kitchen remodel and he actually argued with us on what we were requesting. Even more irritating was his great idea to move our sink, which would un-center the sink from the kitchen window, for some reason he thought it would be better to have our kitchen sink window aligned to the left instead of centered with the window, as originally designed. We really had to argue with him on this? Oh wait, moving the sink a foot to the left would make the job more expensive so why not add that on? Maybe these suckers will want the window moved afterwards? I'm speculating but not reaching here... read some of these other quotes.

Salesman was incredibly pushy. Wanted us to sign then and there on his ridiculously overstated quote. The quote was close to $100k, why would anyone make such a quick decision?? Because his current $2500 off special was about to expire and we needed to act immediately? Insane.

It's not fair to negatively review on quote alone, some places of course are more expensive than others, but the portfolio that he shared with us on other work the company has done was not impressive dollar per dollar. He even shared several videos of older clients professing their admiration for the work completed while sitting in their remodeled kitchen. Honestly, the work did not match the price and the smiles did not seem genuine. Maybe discounts were offered?

More importantly, he did not listen to us. Our concept behind the kitchen remodel was not off the wall, he just wanted us to go with his ideas on the remodel rather than listen to what we really wanted. The overall experience was terrible. I wasn't even going to write a review on this place but after no contact for an entire year, they decided to call me just to let me know that my quote had expired. An entire year! When the asshat gave us the quote he said we had 5 days to decide or deals off the table.

I would never agree to a quote from a salesman. Get the contractors in there at least first and justify the cost. I have working experience in home remodeling, this entire ordeal was offensive. Thanks for calling me back so I could remember to give you a reliable review.

Had my home painted by Brandon and Enrique. They were very professional and did a great job. They cleaned everything up and there was no overspray anywhere. The job took four days, but the first and last days were very short. Most of the work was days 2 and 3. Overall, I am very satisfied and will look them up again when I need other work done.

Taylor our sales rep provided my husband and I an estimate for flooring and counter tops, the flooring was a bit out of our budget, but he made the counter tops work. However, Reliable is unable to install until December. Which really bummed us out. We want to make sure that Taylor gets recognition for being a good guy, my husband works in a similar industry and is also in sales he was very impressed with Taylors communication skills, and was very friendly, though were putting this project on hold, we wanted to say thank you to Taylor for trying his best to accommodate us.

A couple of months ago I asked for an appointment to learn about their retro fit windows, Tim Azevedo and Cliff Hutchinson showed up on time for the appointment. They showed me their product and answered all my questions. I was looking for good quality windows, not cheap ones, because I didn't want to regret my window purchase a year or two later. We decided to go with Reliable because they were local and have been in business for a long time. Also, I read most of their reviews for the past few years. To me it seems when a problems comes up they did what it took to resolve the issues. Last month Andre and Eli installed my 15 windows. They quoted the job would be finished in two days but they finished in ONE day! Their installers were polite and efficient. After the project has been finished we went through a couple of heat waves. So much more efficient than my other windows, quiet too. My wife and I couldn't be happier with he quality of the windows and their installation work. They look and work great!!

It's been about 5 years since my kitchen remodel so I have definitely let this stew some time:

The ""designer"" I was assigned to left a lot to be desired. She was late to appointments and got appointment dates wrong. She seemed pretty scatter brained. I pretty much knew what I wanted in terms of the design kitchen anyway, so I didn't need much of her input. I remember dealing with Gabe (I believe he's the general lead guy) later on, who was much more pleasant to deal with.

The remodel was quick. I like that it was about a week that my kitchen was up and running again.

There was an issue with the granite slab that they installed (hairline crack by the sink at the most narrow part) and Shawn (I believe the owner) came out to chat with me about taking some $$ off the final price. It took a bit of haggling, I think he took off a couple K off the price because he didn't want to have to install a new piece, which is what I was requesting.

At about the 6 month mark, the cabinets had begun to flake/chip and a hairline crack has formed in the travertine across several of the tiles. The cabinets are the thing that makes me the most mad because they made a big stink about the custom cabinetry is supposed to be ""quality."" I would beg to differ. The tiles might be more of a house settling issue, but still, not great. They do say that they will come out to fix stuff like that if you call them but I haven't called to ask for a fix on either of these things, mostly because the fix they would give me wouldn't really fix the problem.

I think about a year or so later, we requested them to come back and deal with the mess left up in the attic/crawlspace area that they left - Things needed to be cleaned out and hammered down (there were bits of cut metal just sticking out) but they did that with no complaints. Gabe again was nice to deal with.

3 stars is about right, but really more like 2 stars but I gave them a bump because Gabe is a good dude.

I would like to give Gary a huge thank you for coming out and adjusting our front door and fixing the trim on our window. Even though our project was completed by Reliable 5 years prior... Gary still came out to do those things for us free of charge. I am truly thankful for the excellent service provided by Gary.

We chose Reliable Home Improvement to remodel the wet area of our guest bathroom. I had found them using a Google search and saw that they had rather good reviews. We met with Cliff to get our estimate and he was very professional and friendly. He was very upfront with us about cost and what was involved with the remodel. We were worried about water damage behind the shower wall. All three companies we got estimates from said they couldn't give us an idea of cost of repair for the water damage since they couldn't see behind the wall. Anyway, in the end we went with Reliable. Cliff did warn us about the start time for the project. They were scheduling out six months. We were expecting this because COVID has slowed manufacturing way way down so getting the fixtures we wanted could take a long time. We met with Cliff in March and all of our bathroom fixtures came in the beginning of June. Reliable started our project towards the end of June. Laura was our project contact. She came out and met with us and gave us all the info we needed to pick out fixtures. She was also very friendly and very professional. Both she and Cliff were very knowledgeable. This is our first home so obviously we know nothing about remodeling ANYTHING. We had A LOT of questions. Jason was our installer. He was great to work with. He was very professional and really friendly. My husband and I work from home and we were worried about noise and such while the bathroom was getting redone. Jason did his best to keep the noise to a minimum. As much as you can when you're demolishing a bathroom. Jason made sure to get our input on placement and installation of things before putting them in. Our bathtub we had ordered had somehow got broken during shipment. Jason and Reliable made every effort to get a replacement tub right away. The project was only setback a day. The project took about two weeks to complete. The end result was absolutely amazing! Our new bathtub, water fixtures, and tile are gorgeous! Everything came out looking so good. Jason did an incredible job. There were a couple issues that needed to be taken care of post installation. Jason came out the same day and fixed them. With no issues and no hidden costs at the end. Working with Reliable was a wonderful experience. They may not the cheapest contractors in town, but they are also not the most expensive. Trust me, you get what you pay for. I would highly highly recommend!
