We DO NOT recommend RCS Roofing Company.

After severe damage to our home from fallen trees during Hurricane Helene, we hired RCS Roofing Company (RCS) via Jason Schoolfield to make our repairs. They communicated well until we gave them a check to secure the contract. They did not ""nail it"" for us as their commercial claims. Not only were they dishonest, but they left us with an incomplete job, additional damages which they created during the job and they didn't inform us, an incorrect roof pitch, and an unlevel reframing of our attic and porch. After almost a week of waiting for them to return to repair the problems and finish the job, and numerous unanswered calls, emails and texts, we sought out a licensed contractor to review the work completed by RCS, unlike RCS (we learned later that they were not licensed or bonded, as just one of their many lies). The contractor identified the completed jobs that were in error (that he could see without tearing the roof off) and provided a quote to finish the job correctly and safely so that it would drain properly and no longer leak. We learned after having the roof inspected that RCS lied about pulling the roofing permit, that is required by Aiken County. The same day our new contractor started the work, an unfamiliar man appeared on my porch. He didn't ring the door or acknowledge that he was on our property. He said he was sent by the RCS salesman, Jason, to finish the job. He admitted he was not an RCS employee, nor was he a licensed contractor, roofer, carpenter or Sheetrock worker!!

At this point it was obviously in our best interest and for the safety of our home and family to move forward with the contractor who was licensed and able to correct RCS Roofing's shoddy work. We pray our testimony will help others not ""be nailed"" by RCS Roofing Company.
