Rick and his team are absolutely amazing! I noticed a leak in my roof during the January 2024 storm that hit San Diego. RC Roofing was referred by a neighbor and I called the same day. Rick came out to inspect my roof on the same day of the storm and provided a proposal the very next day. I was impressed by Rick's communication with me and his honesty with regards to amount of clients that contacted him after the storm, so I knew it may take a few weeks to a month until he was able to fix my roof. Once the roof replacement start date was scheduled, Rick and his team showed up on time everyday and they finished the roof in a little less than three days. I was amazed with how clean and nail-free my yard was after the completion. Rick's crew were professional and friendly. Many of my neighbors were impressed by the work and asked me to provide his information so they could contact him for their roof repair. I would recommend RC Roofing to anyone needing a new quality roof by a quality company.
Work completed included a full roof replacement, rafter(s) replacement, skylight replacement, and they fixed some of the woodwork around two dormers that I have on my roof. Rick and his team went above and beyond. Thank you!

The word ""excellence"" comes to mind for RC Roofing, Inc.

Here is our story: My wife and I needed a new roof on our home in Chula Vista. Our home was constructed in 1979 and it was time, it also had a few minor leaks. From getting the on-site inspection, receiving the estimate/proposal, scheduling ad conducting the work, RC Roofing provided tip-top service! Nick Scarcela, the estimator, conducted a thorough examination of the roof identifying areas of need and explained in detail every step of the process. I let him know I was getting more estimates, and he advised that I listen carefully before asking any questions, this was sound advice.

Upon receiving the written estimate, Nick took the time to answer all questions, and clearly explained what needed to be done and why. The proposal was well written and covered all aspects of the job with detailed pricing included. Price sheets for different types of wood for the roof were included in the proposal. I received estimates from three other companies, but those proposals were far less informative even though the prices were competitive. Our preference was for RC Roofing because they gave us high confidence, they would do a great job. We are pretty picky, and we wanted to get the best roof replacement we could.

RC Roofing, Inc. worked with us on scheduling the job, and they conducted the work during the best possible time for us, shortly after the holidays in early January 2024. During the work, they showed us whenever new materials, particularly for replacing old wood sheeting and other wood pieces such as eave starter boards were required. They installed two layers of top-of-the-line underlayment, put on a drip edge, new bird stops, and added venting to the attic. The existing cement tiles were reused, some new ones were also installed, by doing so the correct coverage on the roof was achieved, prior to the new roof being installed, they determined the original tiles were not spaced with proper precision.

The work was done in 4 consecutive days, the estimate stated 3 to 5 days. This was important to us, to start the job and finish it without any delays. Rick Clark, the owner of RC Roofing, Inc. was on the job site several times to make sure the job was going smoothly. We also extended the roof by a couple feet by the exterior portion of our front door entryway. Rick's advice to the crew provided the final job with a consistent look with the rest of the area by the front door. Rick is very detail-minded and that was most appreciated!

There is simply no other company I would ever consider for roofing needs after our superior experience with RC Roofing, Inc.

We had a minor leak after the recent rains. We called several roofing companies and Nick was the only one to call us back. He was out to our property by the end of the week. Turns out it was a minor issue and he took care of it right then and there. His level of customer service was outstanding at a time where genuine customer service is becoming more and more rare. It was nice to see there are still businesses out there that are prompt, respectful, and provide quality service without trying to over sell you products and services you don't need. I will definitely be calling RC Roofing again for any future roofing issues I have.

I hired a different company to replace my roof and I had some concerns about the quality of their work. I called RC Roofing to request an inspection and potentially a quote to repair any work the other company did incorrectly. Nick took my call and came out the next day. He did a thorough inspection of the roof and taught me a lot about torch-down, scuppers, and mastic. Fortunately, he concluded that most of the roof was done adequately, and the sections that were not could be repaired pretty easily. He recommended that I try to get the other company to make the repairs so that I don't jeopardize the warranty, and he didn't charge me anything for the inspection. Super nice guy. It was really helpful for me to talk to him. Thank you Nick and RC Roofing!
