I recently moved into a 30 year old house that had an original roof. I wanted to find a reliable and professional roofer, and found Rick and his company through a personal contact. This company deserves high marks in every category. Rick is a highly-knowledgeable roofer that walked me through the options for repair and replacement. We finally agreed that the concrete tile was in good shape, and only the underlayment needed replacing. His crew arrived on time every day and enjoyed working together. They were efficient and available to answer my questions during the entire process. Every evening, they would spend time cleaning around the house and being respectful of our neighbors. They even placed new tiles at the front and re-used the older tiles in the back to give me a very clean look from the street. Rick was available by phone anytime during the day, and you could tell that he took pride in service and quality. I would recommend his company to friends and family without hesitation.

RC roofing just completed two jobs for my home. I had some skylights installed by Skylight Pros; Skylight Pros recommended RC roofing so we contracted with RC as suggested. We did get one other quote and the price was competitive and actually just under the other recommended roofer. Skylight pro's installed 5 skylights for me, and RC roofing replaced the tiles on that roof system. We had been considering doing some work on our front roof, and since they did such a great job in the back we asked them to also add a new section of roof in the front of our home. In the front they added new lumber and roofing. My wife has an eye for detail and had some concerns with one section of the roof, and RC roofing was quick to make everything right to her satisfaction. The staff was very friendly and professional, and took care with the cleanup when the job was completed.

Rick and his team did a fantastic job. We choose RC Roofing originally due to the great reviews on yelp. When they gave us the best price of the 3 quotes for a clay tile roof it sealed the deal.

The team finished our 2500 square foot home in 4 and a half days. I think this was a record in our neighborhood that is full of clay tile roofs. They took very good care when removing the roof that nothing was destroyed below. They also cleaned up after each day.

I would highly recommend RC Roofing.

Make sure to read the small print re attic cleanup. He won't clean up massive debris left from reroof out of the attic during work. Never heard of putting that in an agreement. A good contractor would point that out.

I was also disappointed, after my initial great review, to hear his worker urinated in the street by my neighbor.

Response to roofing company comments: i also spoke with you regarding that worker urinating in the street and you were aware of the neighbor notifying me. Maybe you need to place a Porto-potty out for your workers.

When I asked you whether the debris had been cleaned up, that was your opportunity to make me aware you did not clean out the attic. I find out years later there is massive debris in my rental home.

Met with them (and 5+ other roofers) and he knew roofing for sure, but was surprised that their bid was nearly double nearly all of the others. Politely emailed if there might be a more economical option and never heard back. Perhaps they were just too busy? Perhaps a huge overpriced estimate is just their polite way to turn down a job? Either way .... we obviously went with someone else.

I just had RC roofing put a new roof on my rental home. I had several bids, but what sets Rick apart is his knowledge and his attention to detail. His contracts are the best I have seen. He tells you upfront all the possibilities and costs. He includes the cost of wood if in an event there is damage once they start taking the roof off. He is also accessible and answers all texts and phone calls quickly. His Foreman who runs the jobs on site is kind and knowledgeable has 20+ years experience. When I showed up on the job site Rick had 2 crews working and it was organized and running smoothly. His prices were the same as the other bids, but you get so much more with Rick. I would recommend using them to anyone. I am a very detailed organized person and wanted to find a company that was well managed, Rick does that. Thank you RC Roofing!!!

There is a reason they have all these 5 star reviews. Fantastic job! All the guys showed up everyday, on time! Worked all day! Cleaned up the job each day before they left! I know all these things seem like normal work things, but trust me, I've had a couple of projects here at home and it's been my experience that they get a job started and then disappear, or work for 2 or 3 hours. Not only did they work all day, but I have to say that all the guys that worked at my house were super friendly and also answered my questions I had about certain areas of the roof. So, I'm jumping on the bandwagon...RC Roofing 5 stars!

No show. Made appointment with""Rick"" for a 9 am appointment making it clear that I had to leave by 9:30. No show, no phone call, no job for them. Not impressed by businesses that don't have common courtesy to give phone call when unable to make scheduled appointment -- in my view, it is rude. After all,others have places to be and people to see.

11/6/2018. Hired Rick and his crew to fully replace my tile roof. They did an exceptional job and, for the most part, were respectful of my home and yards. Rick is professional and knows his business. I believe I am a ""difficult"" customer as I like things to be neat and cleaned after each day's work was completed and Rick ensured his staff accommodated. My only caution is for those of you that have a lot of decorations outside and outdoor living rooms that you move things away from the house so there are no problems. I had minimal and Rick was wonderful about understanding such. I highly recommend RC Roofing. I had numerous bids and Rick's was the most professional and fairly priced.

Recently RC Roofing replaced the roof on my rental house in Point Loma. I was impressed from start to finish, Rick was always on time and the job was started and completed on time, which meant a lot to me since the tenants have been through a lot of construction in recent years. The quote Rick gave us was lower than any other company and he was pleasant to work with. He has a great crew who all showed up to do this little roof and got it done quickly, replacing rotted wood, etc. i highly recomend this company for all your roofing needs. You can rely on them to do a quality job on your roof.
