It has been a little over 7 months since the 5kw solar electric system was installed and my wife & I couldn't be happier with the job done by RC Energy Solutions. Everything was done and is performing exactly as Justin & Dan said it would! Since the installation, my highest electric bill was just under $10.00 and that was running two 12,000 btu window A/C units! Most of the time, we just don't pay anything and are building a credit on our SDG&E account. My wife and I gave been recommending RC to all of our friends and coworkers, not just for solar but for all of RC's energy saving services. We have also gotten our crawl space under our home insulated and while under the house, the installers found some problems that were supposedly previously fixed. With this information, we were able to go back to the previous company to get them to properly complete the job they were paid to do. I don't think we will ever use any other company to improve our energy efficiency!

We used RC Energy to install solar panels 3 months ago. Justin was very professional, and responsive to multiple emails and phone calls. We interviewed 4 companies, and chose RC Energy for the following reasons: 1) Best financing package (18 month 0 down, 0 interest loan, and a 12 year 2.9% loan with no origination fee or prepayment penalty; 2) Provided best system for our disjointed roof (microinverter) while other larger companies tried to push Sunpower panels with 1 or 2 central inverters, and I believe they had incentives to push Sunpower; 3) Diversified company that should stay in business if the solar panel industry takes a downturn after the federal rebates end/reduced in 2016, or net metering rates change later this year; and 4) Provided 20 year warranty on both parts and labor.

I liked that they were a small, local company in San Diego. They appreciate their customers, and even returned to paint the metal cylinder containing the cables the same color as our house per our HOA requirements. I can tell you the house next to ours did not get that service from one of the larger solar companies. RC also completed the job ahead of schedule.

Solar panels are a big investment, so I would caution everyone to do their due diligence. RC Energy was the one company that met all of our criteria in designing the best system for our roof, providing good pricing, great financing, and a great warranty. As a small business owner, I also liked working with one of the co-owners. I knew we were in good hands.

RC Energy Solutions were very thorough and all work is completed as promised. The pricing was very competitive. I couldn't tell that workmen had been here, they left my house and the work area clean. They handled all the permits and installation from A to Z. I then had them price energy efficient replacement windows for two rentals and I am sure I will have them complete the work for me. I would recommend them highly to anyone. As a single woman, I felt safe and comfortable with the entire process.

RC Energy Solutions installed our solar system about six months ago and we couldn't be happier with the experience...from the initial contact and installation process through current system production! We contacted four different solar companies, two of the big 'solar lease' companies and two smaller local companies (including RC Energy). Very glad we chose to go with these guys, it proved to be a great decision.

Justin and the RC Energy guys were extremely friendly and easy to work with and we really have nothing but positive things to say about the entire process. They completely answered all of our questions during the initial discussions and they've been readily available for any questions that popped up after the install was complete. Very responsive and my calls or e-mails are responded to within minutes or hours, definitely the same day.

I would highly recommend RC Energy Solutions if you're thinking about going solar. The process and technical information can be a little overwhelming at times but Justin and his team really made it a lot easier and definitely worth the time and money spent.

A year ago we decided to get solar and went to 3 different companies (one of them is a company which advertises all over the place and I felt they were the worst), for quotes. I really liked the guys from RC Energy Solutions and picked them, they were just so much better to deal with than the other companies and were not pushy at all. Well, a year later we got a final elec. bill for one year and it is $358 for the WHOLE year!! That is what we were paying for a month. They were very professional with the installation and everything that went into it. We got our panel upgraded and are sooooo SUPER HAPPY. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM. I honestly feel that this was the best move for us.

We met with 5 or 6 other solar providers who came to our home, several overstayed their welcome and many of them, for some reason, were very intent on getting us to lease their solar systems. Justin came highly recommended, but we still wanted to evaluate as many other providers as possible. At the first meeting with Justin from RC, he respected our time and didn't pressure us to buy versus sell, instead, he objectively provided the facts, gave us the pros and cons and let us make our own decision.

After thoroughly comparing all the costs and options, we decided that the smartest decision would be to proceed with RC and we're so glad we did!

Throughout the installation, Justin and Dan were extremely easy to work with and really went the extra mile to make sure we were happy and continue to be responsive regarding follow up and questions we've had after the install.

The best part is that they accurately calculated our energy needs and the solar system is covering our costs!

I am going to keep this short and sweet. RC Energy Solutions is an amazing solar company. They were the last of 3 different companies we met with and we couldn't be happier with our choice. We spent many months researching prior to purchasing solar. Justin and Dan have been extremely professional during the entire process and far from pushy. They were very knowledgeable in answering my questions in a manner others could not. Our last solar bill was $-30 WOW!! Not only did they get the job done exceptionally well, but they continue to monitor our solar panels via internet and touch base when we loose internet reception due to a power outage (non solar related) before I even had a chance to notice. They are quick to respond and to make sure everything continues to functions well!! So happy with our choice!!!!!
